They're big enough to share with a friend if you ARE behaving, and a safely indulgent size if you are not (I haven't shared either of mine so far, just downed it with a large glass of milk and a big smile). Was surprised to find out this establishment is NOT a chain/franchise. There are a lot of bowl/salad places about these days rather like frozen yogurt in the 90s, but this one has pleased us consistently and absolutely impressed my ma so I truly hope they do well.

I mean, in my house ketchup is to make mid to poor fries tolerable and Hat Creek's sweet potato fries are great. Their good service and quality groceries continue, so will our visits will too.

This place is horrible. The drive thru is always backed up, the soda is always flat, the lobby looks like a den of iniquity, the bathrooms have doodoo on the walls, the horrible lighting outside at night makes it look like a 3rd world brothel, the cashier burped in my face, and the double doors have that annoying bar in the middle. Instead of asking for a new sandwich, I simply went back to the counter and asked if I could have another piece of bread so I could fix it myself. The employee refused. Her exact explanation was that she "only had 4 more rolls." She would not remake the sandwich, would not replace the bread, and would not even let me PAY for an extra piece of bread. When I showed her the sandwich and asked how I was supposed to eat it, she sarcastically told me to "put the bread back on the sub and eat it." The most unbelievable part was the refund. After refusing to replace a piece of bread or remake a clearly defective sandwich, I was offered a refund. When I went to the register, I was refunded exactly $1.00 on a $36.00 order and handed a receipt showing the refund amount. At that point it felt less like customer service and more like I was being mocked. The issue wasn't the damaged bread. Mistakes happen. The issue was the complete refusal to fix a very obvious problem, the dismissive attitude, the sarcastic response, and then the insulting $1 refund afterward. I've always thought Firehouse Subs was known for good customer service, but this experience was the exact opposite. Management should review how customer concerns are being handled at this location because this was unacceptable.
