The food was a disappointment as was the service. Over 45 minutes to get our To-Go order of "Alaskan Pollock" ( plain frozen locally bought fish fillets), a fried instead of grilled chicken nugget salad ( with 4 tiny pieces of over-fried nuggets) and equally over-fried 6 pc chicken fingers. We came recently on a week night, and since it was already late, we did not return to the eatery. Next day, I did return to air my disappointment. No one wanted to listen, as the manager was much too busy to talk to me. Please save yourself a trip to Port L DQ. Try Whataburger or Burger King instead for greasy fast food. Came here to take lunch and I got I got a number 1 combo with mayonnaise and no pickles with grilled onions and jalapeños with cheese. I substituted the fries for chili cheese tots. When I got my order, the sandwich had both mustard and mayonnaise, pickles, and the cheese wasn't melted. Instead, it looked like it was simply placed there. The cheese on the tater tots was not melted either, and I got the pleasure of having to pick through a couple of extremely burnt jalitos, likely left in the fryer from the order before and whoever was in the back was simply too lazy to empty out the fryer basket before placing the tater tots inside. I mean, all these problems are simply laziness and lack of pride. The cashier was nice so that's a plus. This is why I go to Whataburger!!! read more

Went here for my 30 minute lunch break around 10am no one else was there and they still managed to take 20 mins to cook my 4 piece chicken strips. And they were out of gravy. Waste of time and money read more

My husband and I went and we thought we were only missingthe jalitos, we let the girl know and she went back in to let the cook know. Well my husband was going to start eating his burger while we waited. Wich was the wrong burger. So I went back in and all I got was "He's making it, he's making it". I told her as, politely as I could because I know mistakes happen, that I was given the wrong order. She graves the bag and gave it back to the cook... the cook then proceeds to yell at here which one was my order.. then gets mad because I opened the burger and put it back in the bag... of course because we thought it was ours.. it wasn't bitten into or anything.. well the girl gives me my bag and says the jalitos will be right out... okay so I was going to wait so she didn't have to walk back out. Then the cook starts to curse and still complain about the fact how I opened the bag and "threw" everything back in and how he fucking hated that. Started slamming stuff around and such.. me a pregnate women getting yelled at pretty much.. I go back to the car upset and told my husband what was going on. So he went in there to wait for the jalitos... low and behold the cook shut his big mouth and just told the guy at the window about how he should have told him we wanted a side of jalitos... but didn't look at my husband or anything... so your going to act like you have ball's and be ugly to a pregnate female but when her husband goes in you don't have balls.. okay... then when we finally got our jalitos they were cold and soggy... anyways we will just be going to the one on Virginia st or even all the way to Tivoli... where they treat customers with respect... read more

Seriously what is wrong with this town!!!!! Everywhere I go the service is slow and rude. I waited 15min in line to order food. So i order 2 kids meals and they are out of both ice creme sandwiches and dilly bars. Then I order my food. I drive uo wait another 5 min to pay then he tells me drive to the other side cause the food is not ready. Again waiyed about 15 min for the food and no sundae. Ugh!!!!! At this point I'm done buy hell i payed for my sundae so I'm gonna get it. My burger was greasy and the bread was soggy. The kids food was blah. So again I hardly hand out low stars but come one. At least offer me something for having to wait almost 35 min. So yeah never going there again NEVER!!!!!! Decent Dairy Queen. I was hoping to catch some local restaurant but, since it was a holiday, everything not fast food was closed.

This place has the WORST employees. Yesterday, we went to eat here with some of my family. We ordered 6 meals and sat down to wait for our order. (They were out of their chicken sandwich, popcorn chicken, taco meat and tomatoes...REALLY?) We waited for 20 minutes in an empty dairy queen. Once, my aunt asked about our food and the waitress didn't say much. Finally, my aunt went to inquire about our food. Come to find out, they gave our 5 MEALS to someone else! I can understand giving one meal away on accident but 5!? We are the only people in Dairy Queen and never once did the 4-5 girls working there wonder where our order is? Never asked the cook about our order? It's obvious we are waiting for food. My aunt got her money back and we left to eat at Whataburger. I know this is a small town with not much to choose from, but please spend your money somewhere else. read more
