UPDATE: July 4th, 2025…read more I've been coming back to this place 4-5 days a week SINCE my last review. The service has improved DRASTICALLY. My review was never about speed/wait times, or anything about product or store. It was ONLY on how insanely long it took SOME of the staff to acknowledge that a customer is in the store. Not because I need special attention, but because as someone in the industry for almost two decades, I was just dumbfounded by the lack of personal care. However, since then, they've all seemed to REALLY up there game. They're especially nice and attentive to me. I can't tell if its because I'm "that guy" who wrote the review... Or because they truly care and have actually focused on improving customer service across the board. Either way, the staff is very friendly, the drinks and food are AMAZING, ambiance is second to none in town, and I would recommend this place and service 11/10 times.

My Rueben wrap was solid and hubby's sandwich was gone before we were in the entrance ramp back to I-88. It sustained us for the day and was a much-relieved departure from the usual fast-food chain burger or chicken. The employees were pleasant and patient with customers. Got our order correct and completed quickly! Whether you are on I-88 or a local, pop in to Arthur's Garden deli for a sando. For the same amount of time as a big-box store, you can enjoy a custom sandwich and support the local economy!

The interior is overall pretty nice in theory, but it wasn't too well stocked or overly clean. The women's bathroom had a ton of toilet paper all over the floor and the stall had a small overflowed trash can with dirty footprints all over the top. The men's bathroom was apparently in a similar state. I am not looking for luxury bathrooms at a gas station, but it would be nice to see that there was some sort of cleaning regimen during a pandemic. When we were waiting in line to check out, a man very clearly skipped in front of us and the staff allowed him to do so without saying anything. The staff were very friendly, but were unfortunately wearing their masks under their noses. It was a fine stop to grab gas, but I would not say the inside felt like the safest place to be during COVID-19, even wearing a mask. I wouldn't suggest driving a mile off the highway to go to this location.
