This eatery has been around for many years and through generational and ownership changes. While it's just around the corner from Cave Springs Winery Store and some of the upscale shops in Jordan it's anything but upscale and very easy to drive right past. Don't. Not iif you're hungry and are looking for an affordable and uncomplicated menu in a well worn yet comfortable space. This is a roadside eatery, the menu comprises sandwiches, burgers, and all day breakfast. We stopped in after wine shopping and needed a late lunch. After perusing the menu we chose Bacon and Eggs and a toasted Western Sandwich. Both were well prepared, flavourful, and satisfying. My sole disappointment was that I didn't try the Poutine, especially as it's made with fresh Cheese Curds. The place is not large and contains maybe a dozen tables, this include freestanding tables and booths. The booths comprise diner classic wooden benches and melamine table surfaces. The roadside diner experience was capped off when we receive our hand written check. We left your cash tip on the table and paid our bill at the cash register. We will definitely be back.

We got in and they had to clean a booth for us. They were really busy. We were sat in about three minutes and another couple of minutes to get our order taken. Food came out quickly and hot and we both enjoyed our meal. We settled the bill for 2 of us and it came to around 20.00 with tip. The owner's Grand Father was there helping out. It was his before the Granddaughter took it over. He apologized for the wait, but in reality it was minimal and no apology was necessary. In short, nice place, nice people, good food. Will definitely eat there again.

It was the perfect atmosphere to enjoy some wine and great food. My wife ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and a glass of Riesling, while I went with Fielding's cherry cider, all refreshing choices! For lunch, she had the summer melon salad with prosciutto, which was light and flavorful, and I ordered the Good Earth burger, which was cooked perfectly and really hit the spot. The vineyard itself has a beautiful layout with both indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking, and lots of great spots for photos. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with delicious food, great drinks, and a laid-back setting. We'll definitely be coming back.

I must admit to being somewhat biased about CJ's Beamsville…read more I am, after all, a regular... but for good reasons! My friends and I are typically $5 pint Leaf game fans and enjoy the atmosphere, and excellent service on game nights. We (the 'crew') have taken advantage of the 1/2 price appetizer deal after 9pm. The selection of appetizers is very good and we've tried all of them. No disappointments with the food. My particular favourite is the 'Crabby Combo'. That's when I can't decide what I want to eat because it's a good variety of wings, mozzarella sticks, and quesadillas. It's definitely 'shareable' but I'm not really a very good sharer. A couple of others that are really tasty are the 'loaded fries' (very big portion) and the ever-popular 'cheesy garlic bread'. The restaurant is great for family gatherings (very kid friendly), watching the game, and taking a break while enjoying the friendly, welcoming staff.

I can't remember we got for drinks, but those were also good too. I got the burger which was a double cheese, bacon burger and it was yummy abnd since I knew I was about to stuff my face with apps I opted for a salad instead of the typical fries, which was a smart choice because the salad was good as well. My partner got the steak, which I forgot how many ounces it was, but she was more than satisfied, especially for the price! We were visiting the area, so I don't know if this is a chain or not, but definitely recommend checking them out if you're in Beamsville.

(A particularly fond memory is sitting in the car with my brother after we had ordered through the car hop service at the former Granville House, listening to Dr. Bundolo's Pandemonium Medicine Show on CBC, and seeing the tray swaying up and down because we were laughing so hard the car was shaking.) That is, until I moved to Ontario, because White Spot is a B.C.-only kind of place. Since then, they have spun out Triple O's. You can find them in Alberta, Ontario, and even Hong Kong. Triple O's is a kind of mini-White Spot, but it's actually sort of the "best of" from the White Spot I remember: burgers, fish and chips, and shakes (minus the "Chicken Pick'ns", which, sadly, have also disappeared from White Spot's menu). White Spot still offers those dishes, plus a bunch of more upscale fare, and dining at White Spot is no longer affordable. Now, it's the kind of place you go for special occasions (unless money is no object). And, sadly, Triple O's is also at the top end of pricing for fast food joints. But still, for this homesick B.C. boy, chowing down on a Legendary burger took me back. It's still as good as I remember. But, to be fair to those who didn't grow up with White Spot, it may just come across as good, but overpriced.
