Close before posted hours without notice. Orders usually wrong. Sometimes they even set the grill on fire. Friendly but incompetent.

Went to this place on our way to Capon Springs. I didn't realize it was past our destination but…read moreit was well worth it. One of the best burgers I've had. Fresh cut fries, meat, and a home cooked cozy atmosphere. We chatted with other patrons and the staff was super friendly. We will be back next time we go to Capon even if it's 30 minutes out of our way! We got the cheese sticks, kid's pancake (the cook made it in the shape of Mickey ears), bacon cheeseburger, cheeseburger, and the roast beef sub. Everything was delicious. Prices are right and it's one of those little gems that locals frequent so you know it's good.

Cute little road side restaurant with ample parking. If…read moreyou are passing by, I would definitely stop by for a quick meal. They are known for their biscuits and burgers. So that what we tried. They serve breakfast all day and offer carry out. Walking in, it was the standard, small town welcome. Everyone (staff and patrons) looks at you and stares. Even after you say hello, they just stare at you. As a person of color who has been refused service in a small town restaurant (Lynchburg VA) I get really self conscious. I was not sure if was order up or seat yourself. There were no signs or staff instructions. Luckily our friendly and lovely waitress ( Mickey) acknowledged my wife and I. We got our seat and ordered. Lots of seating options. Can seat groups of up to 6. The menu has lots of options, but even more are posted on the wall...they have something for everyone. The portions are big and prices are very decent. Our waitress was friendly but slow only because she was the only one in the front and the place was packed it took over an hour to get our food. Having time to sit ana wait for our food. It appeared that the kitchen staff was new and the morning staff ended their shift as we got there. So with lack of proper turn over, there was a bit of confusion. The food was OK. Nothing to spectacular but not bad or poor quality. They had scrapple which is hard to find.

This place was perfect! When traveling you run the risk of getting something you don't enjoy. This…read morewas not the case here. The food was amazing! I had a classic burger, and husband had something with Jalapeños. Daughter had a kids meal with sweet potato fries. I was mad I was too full to finish! To top that off the atmosphere was fun and very laid back, and everything was clean (added bonus)! Wait staff was very personable as well. I hope I was able to cover all the good things, but definitely a place I would recommend and come back to if I lived here.

A wine bar owner recommended this place to us and apparently this is the 'it' local burger joint!!…read moreWe ordered onion rings, Maryland Crab Dog, Burger and mac n cheese. The servers sold us on the mac and cheese when she said the sauce is homemade. For us, the burger and the onion rings were the stars!!! The batter for the onion ring is well seasoned yet fluffy and crispy. The first bite of that burger, reminded me of in and out! We also learned that the ingredients here are locally sourced which is why they are so good. The place is cute, homey, and spacious. They have a few different rooms. They also have a jukebox and I played some Dolly Patron and Miley Cyrus. It was a hit! If you're passing the town of Strasburg heading back to DC, this place is worth a stop!

It was around 4pm so it was pretty empty. We sat at a booth and ordered drinks. Our server was friendly. I will say there was no music playing and we were sitting near the kitchen. We could hear basically everything going on and the other couple in the rooms conversation, which was a bit odd. We ordered the fried chicken based on reviews and it was delicious. I would highly recommend getting the fried chicken. The green beans were also really good. I can't really speak on anything else. The place is pretty large, before we left we took a walk around and found a pretty cool bar in the back and some patio seating. All in all I would compare this to a typical country roadside diner. Good homestyle cooking at good prices.

We were told to sit wherever we like and a server was there fast. I'm new to the area and I've been skeptical to try this place. I'm glad that I did go in. The food was delicious. Fresh and hot. It tasted like the ingredients were made there in house. Definitely going back soon. I only gave 4 based upon the first visit. It'll change if they remain consistent I don't think they will fail me
