I was served rotten bananas in my Sunday that I was forced to spit out and I believe this is either racially motivated or pure cruelty

I was served rotten bananas in my banana split with full knowledge as they have to see what they are serving so this is either racially motivated or pure cruelty as I would never serve someone's son , daughter or mother and father rotten food

This DQ has a tipi in the front yard.

I think you can even order from the kiosks in the parking lot. We walked in, and you have to get close to the south edge of the place to see the menu board, we ordered our food which was made fresh, and sat down in a booth. There was a large original porcelain Coke sign on the wall behind us. The food takes some time as it is made to order - no drawer heated burgers here. I had a cheeseburger and fries, my wife had their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Let's tackle the Philly first. She ate it, but it was over-cheesed, and the green peppers looked like carrots. My cheeseburger was fresh off the grill. If you look at the picture it was wrapped with the outside of the wrapper instead of the inside - not a big deal, but odd. The fries were fresh, and if you are sodium restricted, didn't seem to have any salt on them. Salt, napkins, ketchup and what not are directly in front of the order counter. So the food was okay, not great. Service was solid. The decorations were impressive. Oh, and the Root Beer - this is an old Dog n'Suds, and the Root Beer was epically good.

Stopped in for the Halloween party. It was festively decorated. Good burger and fries.read more

Don't expect healthy. Don't expect anyone over 25 working there. Expect deep fried chicken, homemade coleslaw (friggin wonderful) potato salad (awesome). If you have a food cheat day, go here. We have been going to country school since we moved to Rochelle many years ago. We Love the fried…read morechicken!. Then we found their chicken strips and WOW! So that bring us to today. We ordered the the 12 piece dinner as you can see in the photo of their not updated website menu. It says that you get 12 chicken strips, 4 rolls, 1 family sized side and one pint size side. I ordered this meal, plus: As follows 12 Strips The family size and pint mashed potatoes with the gravy on the side. 2 extra pint sized sides: baked beans and coleslaw. Sides of honey mustard dips. My husband got home with our food we unpacked it and for the third time we had no coleslaw. So he grabbed the receipt and went back. I noticed that we didn't got our bread either. So I called ahead to let them know of the missing items. The young person that answered the phone first told me that bread is no longer included as part of the order. They no longer carry bread, they have biscuits and if you want those they are one of your sides or xtra money. ( go online and update your menu!) then she added that it was policy that if he didn't arrive at country school with the bag of food purchased with him, that they would not give us the coleslaw. I was flabbergasted. Two other times we went in with the receipt no food and were given the slaw. Not Today! She went on to tell me that for the inconvenience for having to come back for the coleslaw it was their policy to remake the entire order. I am sorry this does not make any sense to me. You will remake me a whole new $44 order to replace my $2 pint of coleslaw that you charged me $5.29? During my call I went back to the website to re-check the rolls, and if it said anything's it said anything about bringing back the entire order to prove missing items. I did call back to talk to the manager. Waste of time. I will call and talk to the owners son tomorrow and up-date after the call. It may make or break if we ever go back to to country school again. As my son said. Thank goodness there is two other places in town that have very good fried chicken. We just wish they sold it family style!
