I stopped by for lunch after a medical appointment. This is in my ongoing quest to hit a different…read morerestaurant every day. I started with an order of their chicken fingers, 4 pieces dipped in Honey Barbeque Sauce, with a Buffalo dipping sauce. They came with an order of fries which were served hot, along with two slices of garlic toast. The chicken was hot and tender, and well-dipped in the Honey Barbecue sauce. The drink machine has an icemaker on the right side. It took around 30 seconds for the ice to get up and start dispensing into my cup. Perhaps the shop needs to prime the machine before the lunch rush came in - I saw another patron excited that the ice came out quickly, noting it usually doesn't. Hint Hint. This is a typical DQ. The shop was clean, but again, the Mens Room (this seems to be a Dixon fast food shop trend) smelled bad, and the urinal was really nasty. Those discs of sanitizer that go in there are supposed to be replaced monthly - the one that was in there had turned BLACK for heavens sake - it's supposed to be PINK. Service was prompt, but it was hard to hear the counter staff over the background noise - I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times. All in all, the food was good, the mens room needs to be deep cleaned, and the service was good.

I always prefer the Work of Art sandwich. To me the bun, meat, shaved lettuce, and the horseradish mayo or mustard (not sure which) make the perfect sandwich. UPDATE: July 4th, 2025…read more I've been coming back to this place 4-5 days a week SINCE my last review. The service has improved DRASTICALLY. My review was never about speed/wait times, or anything about product or store. It was ONLY on how insanely long it took SOME of the staff to acknowledge that a customer is in the store. Not because I need special attention, but because as someone in the industry for almost two decades, I was just dumbfounded by the lack of personal care. However, since then, they've all seemed to REALLY up there game. They're especially nice and attentive to me. I can't tell if its because I'm "that guy" who wrote the review... Or because they truly care and have actually focused on improving customer service across the board. Either way, the staff is very friendly, the drinks and food are AMAZING, ambiance is second to none in town, and I would recommend this place and service 11/10 times.
