An average run of the mill location. This place is pretty popular since it's in the more popular and busy area of Gville. This isn't my first visit here, but I guess it's time for a review now. lol. I've gotten consistent good service. Nothing too wowing on the good nor bad side. Quality wise it's average as well. I think their drive thru pricing aren't updated because I expected to pay more for my banana split, but then again, I'm not going to complain. The odd thing though, why would you have a receipt for me when I haven't given you my credit card nor any tender to pay with. Sometimes I question the quality of this DQ's staff, and I'm saying this because of another experience where someone couldn't give me the correct change. Parking is plentiful. There is an outdoor play area here for the kiddies. The drive thru wait time until I got to the pick up window on a hot summer Sunday at 4 PM was 14 mins. So... I'd advise to just go inside and not waste gas and emit more toxins into the atmosphere. :) read more

Simple order. Five double cheese burgers three plain and a blizzard. Reflected on receipt. Was handed blizzard in drive through then asked to pull up to wait for burgers. That was the first thing that perturbed me. So after waiting for awhile for burgers of course blizzard melts. Why don't they just bring out fresh with food? Then after leaving my wife noticed all burgers plain. I call location to update them on issue so they can start correcting it before I return so I don't have to wait longer. Owner Mike Walters told me to "take it up with corporate." And hung up the phone. So I went to get a refund on a mistake that they made verified by receipt and was told not to come back by said owner Mike Walter's. I have eight children and a wife who love ice cream cakes from this business. Over the last thirty plus years I can't tell you the money spent on cakes. Almost every birthday or anniversary or any special event my family wants an "ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. This is a sad state of American Culture when a family icon like Dairy Queen loses site of who pays the bills. The Customer. I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I witnessed. An employee was publicly berating a young teenage worker, which was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch. To make matters worse, this same employee made errors with my order and unfairly blamed the teenager for her own mistakes. Her behavior was not only rude and dismissive but also demonstrated a complete lack of accountability. It's unacceptable to take out frustrations on a young, likely inexperienced, employee. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure a more respectful and positive environment for both customers and staff. read more

I placed a pickup order i placed the order at 6:50 and got it at almost 7:30. it took them half an hour to get my order ready to get. i saw plenty of people that could've easily put my food in a bag and i could've left fast but all they were worried about was the drive through when i saw it was only 2 cars and i clearly saw my food there but not bagged. Also the way they pushed me to the side to go to the next customer when i said my pickup order and they just put me to the side and stayed waiting for half an hour. There was people behind waiting to take orders so imagine how long they waited. At least the place looks decent but the bathroom urinal looks kinda weird from the hole and smells more bad than it supposed to be. read more

Went there around 9:45 ( they close at 11 ) & they claimed to be out of the homemade ranch & the bbq sauce that they toss the tenders in. Also, my milkshake was like pure chocolate milk. So disappointed. Kids in there didn't give a crap. Food was cold also. read more

I feel discouraged. Usually this is something that happens when a tramatic event occurs or something along those lines, but this time, I am simply discouraged to consume dairy products in the future. No I am not lactose intolerant, but after the "ice cream" I just ate, I just don't know what to think. We pulled into the parking lot, noticing a good bit of congestion in both the parking spaces and the drive-thru line. This was supposed to be my last hope of encouragment for going into my procedure tomorrow, but instead, it couldn't be anymore of the opposite now. As I analyzed the ice cream cone in my hand, it presented the same traits that a usual routine delicious dairy queen treat carries. A nice weight, vivid shade of white, and the signature "Q" on top, are the trademarks that I am speaking of. After taking the first bite, I now truly appreciate everyone who told me to never judge a book by its cover because now my life has been changed. The best way that I can describe the flavor is in 3 syllables: Chick-Fil-A. If there's one thing in this whole world that I hate, it is Chick-Fil-A. Especially the ice dream. The only dreamy thing that comes to mind when I think of their take on "A delicious, frozen dairy treat with an old-fashioned vanilla taste" is it never coming into existance. So after 20 minutes of taking a bite, checking pulse, taking a bite, checking pulse, I finally accomplished the truly incredible task of swallowing the last bite. After making sure that everything was ok, I made sure to promise myself to never eat another Dairy Queen ice cream cone again without deeper examination. I never thought I would have to bring a mechanical scale, measuring tape, and magnifying glass with me when I wanted to get an ice cream cone. So in conclusion, I would recommend that if you are reading this and are considering the risk of trying a cone, please go over this checklist: ~Ice cream has proper weight, around 250g. ~Ice cream is a vivid, not dim, shade of white ~"Q" looks good with a diameter of around 1/4". If you follow this, maybe you will have a better expierence than I have shared today. I do not recommend Dairy Queen. read more

Been to this location twice. First time my chicken was sitting there for over 10 mins before the manager told them to send it out, I asked for them hot, I got ignored. Then when I finally got it I asked again, she told me they are fresh, I told her ive been watching them sitting there and that they were not fresh anymore. Got a refund which took another 5 mins. Second time I went, I drove maybe 5 minutes And they barely felt warm. If you want cold food this is the place, maybe your ice cream won't be totally melted. The DQ in Oakwood was hotter after a 15 min drive than here with a 5 ish minute drive. read more

Pretty good location. I haven't had much of their food, just desserts. They put a ton of cookie dough in the blizzards. Which is fine with me. Sometimes the blizzards could use mite mixing though. Staff is ok. Not over the top nice, but I haven't had any issues with them. I've never had them get my order wrong. read more

Last night (Friday, October 13th)....at around 10:30 pm.....I went to the drive-thru window. I ordered a chilly cheese hot dog and small fry. I had to come back because the fries were cold. I gave the drive thru cashier $2.26 and told her to take $2.00 off my credit card. I thought everything was ok. But when I looked at my account this morning she had taken the whole amount off my credit card and kept the money. i was appalled at this so I called the store manager on Shallowford Rd at 10:25am on Saturday morning. He told me that this person would be in and to talk to her. My Goodness...are you serious? I asked him if there were 2 store managers. He said no. It is not about the money. It is about the lack of accountability and the fact that this type of unprofessionalism and dishonesty should not be tolerated. This cashier should be held accountable and the store manager needs to be retrained to understand that he is the store manager. He is the one that takes care of everything whether it is day or night.
