The restaurant decor is vintage diner, like something out of a movie. It's super cute and the restaurant was very clean. We ordered fried cheese curds for an appetizer. This is typically served with marinara but we requested ranch dipping sauce instead. It tasted so good! We felt like we were at the fair. These are worth getting! Hubby ordered a steak burger with bacon with fries. The burger had a really good grilled flavor and the patty had a crust around the edges. It was delicious! Freddy's is going to be my 'burger place'. The shoestring fries were very good. I don't usually like shoestring fries but they do them right. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders with honey mustard dipping sauce with onion rings. I wasn't impressed with the chicken or the honey mustard. I ended up using bbq dipping sauce, which I never do, but it tasted the best with the chicken tenders The onion rings were pretty good. They offer several different dipping sauces. The ranch was the best one. None of the others worked well with any of the food we ordered. Hubby had root beer to drink and said it tasted good. The unsweetened tea was refreshing on a hot day. We wish we'd have had room for dessert. Maybe next time. There WILL be a next time! I'm already looking forward to a burger

My biggest gripe this time (and cause for the review is the sweet potatoe fries. You are charged an up charge to change from regular fries to sweet potatoe fries but the portion is ridiculous. Included are pictures of our 3 tender meals and my daughter kids meal with regular fries. The amount she got for a kids meal was double or triple the amount for what we payed extra for.
