RUDE!! RUDE!! RUDE!! That's how I would sum up the Customer Service. The place was also dirty. I would avoid this DQ at all costs it was absolutely awful. read more

First time in a long while that I ate HOT French fries at a fast food place! The shrimp basket was delicious! Our family has one handicapped member and the dine in area is very small for the power chair but we managed. Overall, I give it a thumbs up! read more

Locked the lobby during normal business hours, and drive through window is covered with posters so they can't see you. Tried to order food, but when they don't seem to want to work then I just left. read more

Lots of staff - I think they were in the process of training new people, but not sure. They seem to be enjoying themselves, which can be a positive if customer service is still good. The restaurant is not overly clean for the number of staff I could see and they were not super quick; however, our ice cream treats were made well and the staff person I talked to was friendly. read more

Dont come just plain bad customer service. To begin with I had ordered the Chicken tender basket with 6 tenders, and I got 4 only. And the worst part was the tenders were hard as rocks that I didn't get to eat nothing just plain disappointed. In Addition I had asked for ketchup for my dipping sauce and they only gave me 3 packets SMH. I just don't recommend this Dairy Queen at all. Just go next door and get McDonalds or Sonics. read more

We stopped on a road trip yesterday. We have been to this location many times over the years. They were busy when we arrived. When we got to order, they were out of a lot of things. I ordered a burger that was probably the worst I've ever had and made me wishing we had gone across the highway to McDonalds. It was ice cold, the bun was hard, and the burger was gray and tasted like...I don't even know how to describe it. I threw it out. Fries were ok. My mom's chicken was gross. The kitchen area was absolutely disgusting with stuff thrown everywhere. The floor all over the restaurant had trash thrown...not surprising given the fact that all of the trash was beyond overflowing. Even once the crowd left, the workers just stood around rather than emptying trash. Surprisingly the bathroom was the cleanest part of the whole restaurant (though the trash was full in there too). I will 100% NEVER return to this location. It was the worst fast food experience I've ever had in my 40+ years on this earth. read more

Absolutely awful! Don't come here! When we showed up three of the kitchen staff were smoking by the front door. Ordered a chicken strip basket with onion rings. After seeing a box of something on the pass wind 15 minutes after ordered after they served three numbers past our order? They checked and it was our order. Added sauce and delivered the order to me finally. I opened my order to check before I hit the road. My order of onion rings was three onion rings!!!! To be more specific one ring was the size of a quarter, the second ring was broken with half the breading missing so practically not a ring and one real onion ring that was normal. I complained about only three onion rings and their answer? "You have onion rings? Stay away! read more

Just got a couple double cheeseburgers during our drive back to KC. The BEST drive thru burger we've had in a long time! It looked better than the picture and tasted just as good! Great job! read more

Stopped for blizzards on a road trip. I ordered cheesecake pieces plus cookie dough pieces, and they charged me for one extra topping (like they're supposed to). However, once we were back on the interstate eating our treats, I realized they never put the cheesecake pieces in at all. Missed my favorite part! My husband got a Snickers blizzard, and they hardly put any of his single topping in. We should have just stopped at the Baskin Robbins in Cameron...at least no one will screw up your hard serve mixture! read more

Holy smoke - what a mess. My coworker asked me to stop somewhere for a fish sandwich for Lent. I worked at a Dairy Queen in high school and remembered they had a fish sandwich. I saw they also had dairy/free Dilly Bars. So I ordered the sandwich and a dairy-free Dilly Bar. I was told no one knew how to make that Dilly. I'm 90% sure those are pre-made, not made in store, but whatever. After a 15min wait, I secured the sandwich from a cashier with ice cream cakes all over the hands, apron and nails while handling cash. I looked in the window and saw overflowing trash cans in the ice cream machine area. Super gross. My friend opened her sandwich to find it was still icy and covered in cheese and tartar sauce. She didn't even order cheese. I don't know - I'd blame it on inexperienced kids but this was the middle of a workday. read more

We waited for over 25 minutes for a blizzard and a piece of toast. Seriously what is happening in there? We are local and have quit going because you have to clear your afternoon for fast food. read more

Not normally willing to pass up a Blizzard. Ever. But totally willing to do so when the wait is more than 5 minutes in the drive thru to place an order...when you are in front of the speaker box. Bad queue management by the team, hence I backed up and left. read more

Stopped at this location on the way home from a long road trip. When I ordered my combo she told me they don't have any fries or onion rings, so I'm forced to get the curds. They also didn't have any ice cream so my wife couldn't get the $7 deal she wanted. Then I get to the window to find out they still up charged me for the curds and I get a burger that looks like it was slapped together by Stevie Wonder. I'll never return to this location again, it's a joke. read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - A burger slapped together by Stevie Wonder - Fast Food Near Me - Bethany, Missouri

It looks like this place has had some reviews and like the last reviewer wouldn't be surprised if it has changed hands as it really does seem to be much better run. Well staffed now with fresh food. Dining room could use some attention but back of the restaurant looked clean and counter staff was attentive. Nice stop off the interstate. Easy to get off - eat and get gas- and jump back on read more

Do NOT stop here! My husband, myself, and two of our friends came in and there was no one else in the restaurant. We placed our orders and our friends got their orders in a decent amount of time. My husband and I had two chicken tender baskets so I assumed that maybe it was just taking a bit longer. Then the restaurant started to get busier and people started placing their orders and everyone else started to get their orders even though we had been there at least a good 10 minutes before everyone else, including a family of FOUR. I went up to the counter to check on our order and was purposely ignored by the staff. They all pretended to be so busy that they didn't notice me, so I had my husband come in and get their attention. It took so long that our friends finished their meals and we were ready to get back on the road so we asked for a refund. The cashier scoffed at us and was completely dismissive and rude. While I don't want to pull the race card, we were the only brown people in there, our friends are not and got their food quickly - so it's pretty obvious what was going on. We got our refund and immediately left because we knew we weren't welcome there. read more

We will NEVER be back. Traveling highway and wanted a smoothie. Decided DQ was closest thing. First, management needs to be trained properly to then train employees properly. There were too many chiefs who were absolutely clueless. Arrived inside because drive thru line was way too long. NO ONE came to the register for a good ten minutes but saw five employees "working". One girl moved at a snails pace cleaning dining area and finally came to wait on us then went back into dining room. One girl bossing everyone around but never waited on anyone. Said she was checking out, then came back and took order in front of us, then went in the back to make a cake. Wandered for the next twenty minutes doing nothing but being annoying and interrupting other employees. Never waited on anyone else. Drive thru window pair were only ones working but barely competent. Apparently only drive thru line gets serviced. Then three owner/managers apparently on site did absolutely nothing to help or manage. One was on his cell phone THE WHOLE TIME in the back pacing. The next one was on his cell also but tried to help an employee open a can of pineapple sauce for over 20 minutes and never succeeded. Meanwhile family of 7 waited for their banana splits for at least a half hour. At least seven cars served but they still didn't have their treats before we left. All because no one knew how to open a can. No, scissors won't do it. Looking around, I don't think they had cleaned any of the work space all day. Sauces spewed out and over all over the counter, drying but never cleaned. I do not know how they stay in business without health inspectors closing them down. It was disgusting and very poorly managed. I do not recommend. Ever. No matter how convenient the location, it's not worth it. read more

Worst restaurant around. I don't know how they pass a health inspection. It's filthy dirty inside and out. Help might be some of the rudest people around and have poor hygiene. So I guess I'd tell ya to pass. read more

Been here twice, first time after a 20 minute wait in the drive through they told us they were out of what we had ordered, second time there was no one ahead of us, ordered 2 chicken strip baskets and it took 20minutes and they still messed up the order. You can't run a "fast" food business like this. read more

Great service, order was accurate, food was fresh. At most locations they forget the dipping sauces or something, but not at this one!

My family and I stopped here on our way back to Iowa. We were not impressed at all. We waited with all the other people for at least 30 minutes. Apparently, your store had to wait for a food delivery truck to fix our meals. Then they had a nice lady running the register and I heard the managers talking to a patron and telling them that it was the Cashiers fault. No, it was your stores fault. I seen several customers leave without any food. Your store should have closed until you were properly prepared to serve your customers. I think you should retrain your managers. They have no managerial skills. Thank you Gal from Cal read more

The servos here is terrible it takes 15 minutes just to get a drink. I was very unhappy with the service here and won't come back again if they don't fix it. This second time this happened. read more

Usually this place isn't too bad. Today I got my order and it was a 3 piece with fries and gravy. I ordered a 4 piece with cheese curds. I gave them my receipt. After waiting 20 minutes and they didn't give me what I paid for I left. Get your crap together. read more

The fact that I had time to download the app and write this review before my food got out to me explains the rating. Very poor communication, lots of apologizing and not enough action. We need action folks. Work environment seems very toxic. I still have another 25 minutes to write so I'll keep going. Not friendly to customers. Lots of eye rolling and mumbling. Should've went to sonic. The mozzarella sticks there are great. read more

There when they first opened, in fact we were the second customers, restaurant was not clean, rest rooms were vile.

They moved the line along fairly quickly. We didnt get food just two small dipped cones. They brought it out to our table. The cashier was friendly enough (Assistant Manager) and the store was clean. Would definitely come back here. read more

It took way to long for the food to come out, and this has happened before. They are lucky they're right off the interstate and one of the only places to eat because anywhere else they would have no customers. At least the girl at the register was nice, but the guy in the kitchen looked like he was throwing a tantrum. He probably needs more help. I don't know why none of the girls up front weren't back there helping him because it didn't look like they were doing shit. read more

My 5 stars are for the one young man working the drive thru on Sunday December 30th about 1pm, not for the restaurant as a whole. The place itself was busy, yet the 3-4 girls working inside didn't seem to know where they were or why. The gentleman working drive thru was doing his best to run that as well as having to walk away to take care of the counter area, since nobody else seemed to know how; even when he was directing them to do so. I wasn't able to get his name but wanted to shout out to him for staying friendly, calm and getting the job done when he had every right to be extremely frustrated during this lunch rush. If this young man isn't on your management or training team, he should be. read more

Fast window service but the hamburger had been sitting around awhile and the fries cold:(. Isn't there any decently managed restaurants in this town???!!! read more

Super hot day. Lots of staff working, but it seemed not a one of them knew how to do their jobs. LOTS of standing around not doing much of anything. I've stopped here over the years going back to see family in Iowa; this will be the last time. Not even a sense of effort when 15-20 people were waiting for their food. Took us nearly 20 minutes to get a malt and a blizzard. Absolutely inexcusable. read more

Don't go here at all! We stopped in on our way to Des Moines and the blizzards were poorly made, the place was dirty and the bathrooms were a mess. In addition, the women's bathroom had known water leak and my wife slipped and fell an hurt herself. Never stopping here again! read more

Most disgusting DQ ever. Everything was microwaved... even the fries. Skip this DQ. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT.

Excellent Blizzards! Employees were very nice and efficient. Very clean. Great place to stop on a road trip. Nice grassy area to walk a dog and stretch your legs. read more

Heard a lot of negative things about this DQ, but I had an excellent time there. Food was fresh and well made. The blizzard was excellent. New management can do wonders. read more

Under New Management?! Ha! They need NEW new management! This place was TERRIBLE! It took us 20 minutes to get our food because they couldn't grasp the concept of adding mushrooms to a burger. They then tried to blame it on being busy. There was no one in the drive thru & there was one older couple sitting eating. Wish we had read the reviews first. We decided to spend our money for ice cream across the street at Sonic. read more

Food wise it's ok. My Swiss burger didn't seem very hot, maybe just slightly warm. My pumpkin pie blizzard crust seemed rather hard, even after having it sit there for a minute in hopes of moisture making it a little soft. seating in the area is terrible. Seems very cramped inside. Almost as if they didn't make the seating area big enough but tried to cram as much as they could inside. Didn't even try the bathroom. read more

This is the poorest excuse for a restaurant I've ever experienced in my life and I'm trying to be nice about it. There was not a clean table in the entire restaurant and by not clean I mean every one of them had junk on it and food particles . 15 minutes after we ordered our chicken strips and hamburger and two Blizzard's they brought us the two small blizzards which would have been nice to have after the meal. The meal didn't arrive for another 9 minutes later and when it did the fries were extremely cold and soggy. The sandwich and the chicken strips were lukewarm as though they've been sitting there quite a while. I immediately went up and complained and said I needed two fresh fries and saw them dump fresh fries into the French fry bin at that time.. Instead of just getting me the fries and apologizing the girl at the counter left for a couple minutes came back and said no biggie we'll bring them out to you. WTF? I waited and watched them for five minutes as they moved sluggishly around like zombies on a incoherent quest to do absolutely nothing at all. Finally I just grabbed my family and a package of Dilly Bars from the freezer on the way out as compensation. Do not eat here do not even stop for ice cream they are inept and pathetic. read more
