We had stopped going to this location due to the steep decline in food quality and at time customer service. When we learned there were new owners we had high hopes that this location would be able to have a good turnaround. We gave it 3 tries under the new ownership/management. All 3 of these visits/orders were placed in the drive through. First time back was 3 weeks or so after they reopened. My steak fingers weren't cooked all the way, cold and soggy in the middle, even the fries were nasty. When my husband tried it he agreed it was bad....and my husband will eat just about anything, so if he won't eat it you know it's bad. Husband's burger was not at all what he ordered. After throwing my meal in the trash and husband's fries in the trash, I said I would not eat there again. However husband gave them 2 more chances. The 2nd time. Ordered his meal came home and again wasn't the meal he ordered. Ordered double meat. Got single patty. Ordered cheese- no cheese on burger. Ordered mayo instead of mustard, you guessed it burger had mustard. He wasn't ordering anything out of the ordinary. He gave them the benefit of the doubt and said maybe they just gave me someone else's order. He went a 3rd time same thing burger wasn't what he ordered. Again ordered (and paid for) double meat. Burger was single patty. Ordered mayo burger had mustard. You get the picture. Fries were so salty you couldn't eat them (I love salty fries and I tried one and it was nothing but salt) He tried calling over and over and over. Letting it ring for several minutes each time. No one ever answered. At that time he said he would never go back. We truly want businesses in Brady to succeed! We need businesses in Brady to thrive. But the owners have to want that too. They have to train their employees in the way they want their business run. Re-training if necessary. A smile, good attitude, and accuracy in an order goes a long way. I can overlook the little things but when they happen on what seems to be a regular basis I can't help but think something is wrong at the owner level. I'm sad this is another fast food/restaurant in town that I can't support financially but I won't continue to throw my hard earned money away. read more

Stopped for lunch while on a road trip. I had the best burger and onion rings ever at this DQ location. So good I sent compliments to the chef! Very nice people working too. read more

This will be going to the labor board, health department and the BBB! TONY MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION, Was so rude. We got out with our service dog to go in and eat, before we got in the door, he poked his head out and said "you ain't bringing that dog in here are you?" We said yes, he said "nope, not allowing you in here" we have paperwork for our dog, and the sign on the door said service animals ok. Don't go here, this guy is rude af. Just stopped at what used to be the best DQ in Texas. It is now under new ownership & the manager there was rude the guy working the counter turned away from us as we came up to order. They sell what they want you to have not what you want as it used to be. This used to be my 11yr old's favorite spot but never again. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Stopped here on a road trip. After sitting with one other car in the drive thru for 10 minutes we finally ordered. They had one kid writing it down and then another guy that would entered it into the system. I ordered this same meal 4 times and it took them forever to enter it. They told me to pull around and waiting and someone would bring it out. After 30 minutes of waiting I went in. They had no idea where my order was or my ticket until they realized it had never been brought over from the drive thru. Then after waiting another 10 minutes I asked and they hadn't even started it yet. I got my refund and went to Sonic. 50 minutes for nothing and the manager didn't even care, just kept making excuses. I had the steak fingers. They were excellent. Freshly cooked, hot and tasty. From the minute I walked in I was impressed with how clean the dining room is. Two young men were at the counter. Both welcomed me. They were very friendly. If you're a local or just passing through this is a great place to stop. read more

I can't even begin to say how rude the employees are that work at this Dairy Queen! We walked in at 8:45 (it is marked on here and on the building that they are open until 11:00pm) to eat before we drove two hours home with our family and our kids started ordering and the lady taking our order was rolling her eyes at our kids the whole time! As soon as they brought our food (in bags) a man came out and rudely told us they were closing at 9 and we all had to get out! We will never come back to this terrible terrible place! In one word, outdated. The location both inside and out, seriously need a face lift; I'm no dq expert, but I'd be willing to bet that this location hasn't been updated in any fashion since it was built. The food taste like you'd expect it to, nothing memorable there. The service isn't anything to brag about either; the workers are friendly, sometimes may get too comfortable for someone who is simply looking for a quick and uneventful meal. This DQ is likely locally owned. They had some additions to the menu. The inside is very dated but clean. People were very friendly, and my burger was like I used to get at the DQ but it seems like I haven't been able to find anymore. Onion rings were also great. Customer service here was by far the worst I've ever had. I came to get one order of chicken strips with a sweet tea. When I pulled up and ordered the girl speaking asked if I wanted to tea on the chicken which was funny at first honestly. I've worked in fast food and the restaurant industry so I know how it can be. However, when we pulled up to the window, the women who opened it was very rude, they asked us to pull forward and wait which was no problem at all. Until 30 minutes went by. I was kind of irritated at this point because they were not busy. I backed up to the window and they looked at me but would not open the window one girl even walked up to the window got on her phone and turned her back to it. After a few minutes of this I honked my horn, they still would not open the window. At this point I was mad, I pulled around and parked to go inside, before I got to the door a man walked out with my food and when I asked why it took 30 minutes he replied with an attitude that "he didn't know." To which I replied "really?" (I was very frustrated with this entire experience at this point) he told me again with an attitude that "he could go find out real quick" after I was already walking back to my car. Anyways. All of this could have been avoided with an explanation for the wait and maybe idk. Less attitude and also not being on the phone and turning your back to the window when you clearly see me trying to get your attention. Your window tint does nothing at night. read more

This place easily has the most delicious fast food burger I've had from a drive-thru. I do a lot of traveling through Texas and, when possible, time my drive through Brady just to stop here for a hunger buster and blizzard. I wish other Dairy Queen's were of comparable quality but the others I've tried just don't come close. I wouldn't be surprised if this DQ is the best in Texas. read more
