Unfortunately all the other negative reviews are spot on. They're really incompetent here and the food quality is sloppy. The employees yell at each other behind the counter and cannot cooperate together at all. They have trouble with basic tasks. Any order takes a very long time and will likely be incorrect. My husband just went through the drive thru to get blizzards for the whole family. They did NOT turn them upside which is part of their policy. But more importantly why are there no lids on 4 blizzards that need to travel? One of the blizzards sipped everywhere. This is the mess he brought home. I'm not pleased... On the 17th my Mom took her sister to get a blizzard, not only did the DQ employee give the right blizzards, they were liquid - couldn't turn upside down and the employee kept the extra change in her pocket. She also discussed how much her stylist cost and the color of her hair possibly turning red. Oh my goodness! Please watch employee's that put your change in their pocket and make sure you are getting a quality product. My mom says she will never go back to this location. read more

Let me start by saying that I have been a Dairy Queen customer my entire life. My mother was a manager and I practically lived at Dairy Queen as a child and have gone every time I have some free cash or when we get coupons for treats and eats. This is not about DQ as a company. This particular Dairy Queen is off 277 in Abilene where everyone is running around not knowing what to do and everything from the counters to the restrooms are dirty. Finding hair in my very clumpy gravy was just the beginning of the horrors I had to endure. My tenders were raw and cold to a touch it was very obvious that a temp gauge was not used and the fries were clear and not because of new oil. I went ahead and ordered a burger well done because when they re did the tenders they just dropped the same ones in oil! It took 15 minutes to make that 1 burger and when I finally got it, it was soggy like it had been sitting up there without the light being on it. Pretty disappointing - even for DQ. No light on their sign at night. Wait -wait -wait to order. Then wait in line - ordered six blizzards. Then get to the window and have to pull out of the way because they're still working on Blizzards after almost 15 minutes. Then they brought them out - wrong count. i hate to be the negative, but what a terrible experience at the DQ today :( 1st. They forgot to placed our order. One of the employees came out and took everyone's order behind us and never came to us. (Apparently the voice com wasn't working, which totally understand the malfunctions.) we got to the window and proceeded to be told that we had to go back to the end of the line since they never got our order. My husband told them that no one ever took our order. The manager - I think her name was Lindsay? I am so sorry I forgot! - asked me to give her an hour to get them all made because it was during the lunch rush. I came back at exactly the one hour mark. The staff is friendly and they got everyone's orders right and there was like a 5 minute wait but one of the registers were messed up so that took an extra 8 minutes or so but that was faster than most DQs and overall I do recommend this place the food and blizzards are good and no rude employees read more

I ordered a blizzard along with 2 steak finger baskets. I was told to pull up and wait. I waited 15 minutes, meanwhile my blizzard was melting.
