It was easily 100 degrees outside, so something cold made perfect sense. At least 20 flavors, maybe 30. I was trying to decide when there it was. KEY LIME ice cream! I'm addicted to key lime pie, so you can imagine how my taste buds were tingling! I ordered one scoop in a cup. Their scoops are huge! It was thicker and more creamy than regular ice cream. Absolutely delicious! A very smooth lime taste that I will definitely get again. But I also like chocolate, so next time will have to be a triple scoop variety. We all scream for ice cream!

Was offered Oreo instead. How is that comparable? I tried to cancel my order but Baskin Robbin's said the order was already confirmed. I was NOT REFUNDED! Upon reading further reviews apparently this has happened multiple times. Baskin Robbin's apparently revels in poor products and service. Steer clear of any Baskin Robins and especially the one in Abilene, Texas.

In fact they were such a mess we ended up throwing away before we got 3 blocks! When we asked why was so soft, this time they said they "just took it out of the freezer." Of course I went on the first day, let's not break tradition. I got the Grande breakfast burrito combo on my first visit and it was huge for the money. Braum's combo is your choice of burrito, hash browns, and coffee or soft drink for $4.89. A heck of a deal, and the burritos are delicious, in my opinion. I LOVE their hash browns! Mike got a hot cinnamon roll and coffee for about the same price. The second day they're open, we're back! This time it's afternoon and 90 degrees. Ice cream time! Mike got a banana split and I got the hot fudge brownie sundae. OMG, both are so good! If you like brownies, try the sundae, you'll be hooked! 5/5 easy. I guess you can tell I like Braum's, and I bet you do too! See ya there.

The 2nd thing I noticed was there's only 4 flavors none of which were great. Everything was clean and nicely displayed. The lady at the front was friendly and frankly a beautiful young lady. It is my fault I really did not research prices at all, I knew it would be expensive as these places always are but I was expecting something like $12 maybe. Our total was $19! For 2 small cups!! I was shocked! I could've gone out, bought all the fruit and a gallon of ice cream for that much! Good Lord, that pricing just seems excessive. Pretty sure that's what I'll be doing from now on. Lol

I will say, that was nice. They were all very excited. The boys asked for sample cups and the girl said they didn't have them while telling them she had just cleaned the counter for them not to lean on it. I looked over and two of the boys were filling their cups a bit and tasting, as I was opening my mouth to tell them to stop- the girl says from the counter that now she's going to have to clean those too. Then I asked about the 6 out of 14 flavors not working, she said they were out. One of the boys asked if one of the machines was supposed to be watery, she just walks over and turns that light on top of the flavor off. The coffee machine was broken as well. I honestly wasn't impressed with her attitude- I know kids are annoying but it was only 6:20 and they closed at 8. The kiddos played a couple of board games that are offered while they ate their frozen yogurt and she was correcting them constantly. Was just hoping for more options and possibly a happier employee present. The place was immaculate but the employees hair was long, up in a hair tie but over her shoulders while she was was scrubbing everything we touched.
