Nothing special. Advertise frozen yogurt but none. Totally understaffed. Long lines on a hot day.

Just your average run of the mill ice cream place. Nothing really remarkable can be said good or bad.

Have always had great ice cream and great service. Last night the soft serve black raspberry was wonderful, tasty and creamy.

We love to see old mills renovated/repurposed. We were excited to visit Fish Bobes Grill. So…read moreworth the visit. We were greeted by owner Ryan. Very personable and so passionate about this new life chapter with is wife (new owners since Feb. 2025). Everything is made to order so there can be a wait. Plus it gets busy at lunch. We suggest ordering your drink and maybe an appetizer while you study the menu. The mussels were amazing!!! Bigger than Prince Edward Island in a roasted tomato and chorizo sauce. Served with grilled buttered/seasoned sourdough bread. We brought the remaining sauce home. My husband ordered the beer battered fresh haddock sandwich with fries. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with cheese and bbq sauce on toasted sourdough. Also served with fries. Both so amazing. We had the the flour less chocolate torte with vanilla ice cream. The torte was very dense and rich. So good. The ice cream cut some of the richness. So elegant inside with the exposed brick, concrete floors and beautiful decorating. They take it up a notch with everything they do. Water served once you are seated. Silverware rolled in cloth napkins. Sourdough bread. No feeling that you have to rush through your meal. A little extra in food presentation; ketchup in a little dish with the fries for example. Great fries by the way. The outdoor dining area is set up with greenery to keep it private and decorated with little lights for that romantic feel. On Lincoln Street in the Bates Mill building. Please come visit Ryan and the staff. The prices are reasonable and they also serve dinner. Very happy.

The trees were loaded with blueberries. Although my pictures don't do justice, they were full. It was easy to pick a full pint or quart just standing in one spot. After we picked our container full, which they supply the containers. We headed back to the store so we could make our purchases. They do have a lot of wonderful foods inside as well, some candies, and drinks, full homemade pies and maple syrup and so on. Something for everyone. Cashier was very nice. And helpful. It was laid back on a Sunday afternoon. Not a lot of people around. And we actually were the only ones in a whole section. The also do apple picking in the fall. We picked some apples which were not a bad price then proceeded to try an flight of their hard ciders. They had lots of interesting flavors and they were delicious. Afterwards we got some donuts and picked up some jars of various goods to take home. Everything here was great and we had a very pleasant experience. It was super busy but we expected that on a Saturday. If you're looking to pick some apples, drink some ciders, and have a great afternoon definitely check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Roy's All Steak Hamburgers is not a new concept or business in Auburn. They have a location, which is only a restaurant, located at the split between Minot Ave and Washington Street North. The location on Route 4 is a fun center, or a term along those lines. They have a driving range, mini golf course, batting cages, disc golf and of course their food and famous ice cream. The driving range consists of a matted area and a grass area for the more avid golfers. The mini-golf course is an 18 hold adventure fun for all ages. They have 4 batting cages with levels for slow pitch softball, fast-pitch softball, little league and big league. They started off with a par-3 9-hole course and then converted it to a 9 hold disc golf course. They have a covered area if you want to rent for a birthday party and there is also a covered eating area around the food building. The food is more diner and foot truck style, but they have a large selection of options including a lobster roll for the seafood lovers. I mostly go for the sport aspect and don't eat there often. It's not because the food is not good, when I had it, it was 4 star worth and the ice cream gives it the 5th star. If you are looking to take the kids, or the family, to a spot that has multiple sporting options to choose from, Roy's All Steak Hamburgers and Golf Center is a must-stop. They also have antique cars show up once in a while.
