Second time I've been here and I'm praying we get one soon back in Michigan. This place is adult drink heaven!! Gallons of slushy, boozy drinks?! Yes please!!!! Only $20 for said gallons on sundays?! Even better!! A drive thru to order and pick up said Gallons?! Who invented this place, and I'd be honored I shake his/her hand. If you ever get a chance to try one of these places- do it! Oh, they sell them smaller than a gallon size too, but trust me, you'll want the whole gallon!

Visited Saturday late afternoon. We were greeted quickly and had several choices. We were told that we could sample before buying a flavor. I asked the bartender what her 'go to' was and she broke down the flavors in Victoria Secret and the 3 of the 4 of us agreed that sounded good.... And it was delicious! According to 2 of the travelers the bathrooms were respectable as well. The drive thru had constant business and we were glad for stopping after a long day of driving to kick off our Mardi Gras weekend. read more

Hard to say anything bad about this place. Every flavor I have tried was very well done. No watered-down drinks or ones that taste only like booze. Very flavorful and tasty. The pricing is very reasonable for what you get and they have decent specials and happy hour pricing. The servers at the drive-up window are always helpful. They all have good memories and can describe any flavor on the long list without looking it up. I have tried some other daquiri places around and this is the one I like the best. read more

Perfect! Absolutely serves its purpose as a drive thru daiquiri place. There's never a line. The workers are always nice, friendly, and fast. Pretty simple, so I don't have too much more to say. My go to is half strawberry half mango, and I can't seem to stray away to try anything else because it's so good! read more

It was a line when we got here, but it was moving pretty quick. We're not from around here so we don't have one of these Daiquiri drive thrus. It was pretty neat to experience it. We were headed into New Orleans and stopped by to try it. The daiquiris and Jell-O shots were pretty strong. You can also add another shot to the daiquiri if you want it stronger (we didn't do that). They also have beer. read more

This place is a true gem. They usually have a line but it moves fast. They have the best selection of flavors that I've seen from any daiquiris spot in Slidell. The half mango half strawberry is everything. I have zero complaints. They have never let me down! read more

This is my favorite place to stop for a yummy daiquiri. The colada mix is real creamy and mixes well with peach, strawberry or mango. They also have a really tasty egg nog during Christmas time. You won't be disappointed. Grab a cup for the road or get a gallon/half gallon for later. read more

We stopped here because we were headed out of New Orleans and forgot to grab out daiquiris from our usual spot. This location is right off of the highway which was great for us. Not a lot of selection for flavors, but the ones we tried were good. Prices for a Gallon are reasonable and they have specials throughout the week. We'll be back on the next trip through New Orleans. read more

The woman with the brown hair who was working in the drive-thru had an attitude with us. This was our first time there and we were trying to decide what to get. She ended up switching out with another coworker who also got an attitude when we asked if he could mix one of daiquiris more. He said he could "shake it with his hand" because he didn't have a mixer. We were at the window for less than 2 minutes and they were being very impatient and rude. I don't recommend this place. read more

I haven't been to many drive through daiquiri places, but this place was right across from my hotel so I decided to try it. They have a large variety of flavors to choose from and the prices are great. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this if places if you are in the Slidell area. read more

I Love this place....Have tried alot of Daiquiris Shops around this area and this one is my favorite. The shop is NON SMOKINg and VERY CLEAN. They have been around for 20 plus yrs. Very friendly and family owned and operated. There prices are great...They Daiquiris taste great. Gallons are 22.00 Dollars and Shots are only 2.00 dollars. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

But every now and then, a meal grabs you by the taste…read morebuds, smacks you across the face with flavor, and makes you say, "Lawd have mercy, this is what eating in Louisiana is all about." That was our night at Gallagher's in Slidell. We started like locals do: I had the chicken and andouille sausage gumbo, while my grandmother went straight for the turtle soup. Both bowls hit the table with the kind of depth you only get when somebody's been stirring that pot with love, patience, and a wooden spoon seasoned by a hundred Sundays. That gumbo had the holy trinity preaching, and that turtle soup could have converted a non-believer. Then came the knockout round. For me: an 11 oz filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes. For my grandmother: pampano fish with mirliton stuffing. Now listen, I've had a lot of steaks in my life. But this filet? This filet was different. This filet was butter-kissed, seared on a 500-degree plate, and cooked so perfectly it practically sang "When the Saints Go Marching In" with every bite. Melt-in-your-mouth good, eyes-roll-back-in-your-head good. I would've licked the plate clean, but with 500 degrees of molten butter, I'd have left Gallagher's looking like a crawfish boil accident victim. Worth it? Maybe. The pampano and mirliton stuffing? Out. Of. This. World. Seasoned like somebody's MawMaw was back there in the kitchen making sure you didn't leave without remembering what real Louisiana food is supposed to taste like. And then there was Desiree Faith. Let me be clear: the food at Gallagher's was phenomenal, but she was the reason the night became unforgettable. Desiree doesn't just serve. She elevates. She embodies. She executes at a level that turns dinner into an experience and guests into family. Serving, when it's done with this much purpose and precision, is not a job. It's a calling. And Desiree is the benchmark. The gold standard. The one every other server in Louisiana should be taking notes from. She read the table like a seasoned conductor leading an orchestra. Every move, every check-in, perfectly timed. She anticipated needs before they became requests, delivered everything with warmth and grace, and carried herself with the kind of presence that makes you feel cared for, seen, and valued. She wasn't just part of the meal. She was the heart of it. Exceptional doesn't even begin to describe it. She made such an impression on me that when the check was signed and the plates cleared, I hugged her. That is the kind of impact she leaves. Gallagher's should be proud beyond words to have her. She is not just a rock star, she is the lighthouse, the benchmark, the living definition of impeccable service. Gallagher's isn't just a restaurant. That was our night at Gallagher's in Slidell. We started like locals do: I had the chicken and andouille sausage gumbo, while my grandmother went straight for the turtle soup. Both bowls hit the table with the kind of depth you only get when somebody's been stirring that pot with love, patience, and a wooden spoon seasoned by a hundred Sundays. That gumbo had the holy trinity preaching, and that turtle soup could have converted a non-believer. Then came the knockout round. For me: an 11 oz filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes. For my grandmother: pampano fish with mirliton stuffing. Now listen, I've had a lot of steaks in my life. But this filet? This filet was different. This filet was butter-kissed, seared on a 500-degree plate, and cooked so perfectly it practically sang "When the Saints Go Marching In" with every bite. Melt-in-your-mouth good, eyes-roll-back-in-your-head good. I would've licked the plate clean, but with 500 degrees of molten butter, I'd have left Gallagher's looking like a crawfish boil accident victim. Worth it? Maybe. The pampano and mirliton stuffing? Out. Of. This. World. Seasoned like somebody's MawMaw was back there in the kitchen making sure you didn't leave without remembering what real Louisiana food is supposed to taste like. And then there was Desiree Faith. Let me be clear: the food at Gallagher's was phenomenal, but she was the reason the night became unforgettable. Desiree doesn't just serve. She elevates. She embodies. She executes at a level that turns dinner into an experience and guests into family. Serving, when it's done with this much purpose and precision, is not a job. It's a calling. And Desiree is the benchmark. The gold standard. The one every other server in Louisiana should be taking notes from. She read the table like a seasoned conductor leading an orchestra. Every move, every check-in, perfectly timed. She anticipated needs before they became requests, delivered everything with warmth and grace, and carried herself with the kind of presence that makes you feel cared for, seen, and valued. She wasn't just part of the meal. She was the heart of it. Exceptional doesn't even begin to describe it.
