MY entire experience was fabulous. Everything was extremely businesslike and they did exactly what they said they'd do for the price they quoted me. I am very pleased with my book. I feel like I made a couple of new friends, especially Christine who was in charge of the project and Melody who is a charming person and a talented editor who made suggestions although it was always clear it was my book. I recommend W&T without reservation.

I never understood why people write reviews for places that are closed but I just have to do this:…read more This is my grandfather's newspaper. He started it in 1960 and ran it until the day he passed away in January 1975. My uncle then ran it on and off into the 80s. This newspaper was a way to unite the Portuguese community who had left their country to come to the Bay Area. Some of the articles may have been less newsworthy than others like the full page spread on my parent's wedding, but my grandfather loved people and loved life and loved his family and this paper was his passion and his way to bring that all together. I typed the word "Portuguese" into a Yelp search and this is the only listing that came up. I thought that was pretty amazing and I felt it was a sign that I should write about this paper and what it meant to my family and my grandfather, a wonderful man (I am told) who I never had the pleasure of meeting.

I have been a faithful reader of Chinese Singtao Daily for long time especially the Saturdays and…read moreSundays. I myself and my family including children have been enjoying it. Unfortunately recently , I've noticed and hope it is not a beginning trend that this newspaper starts using "porn" like female pictures in its magazine and Sunday's articles. In its 06/12-06/18 Singtao Times Weekly, there is a featured story about homosexuals (in Taiwan only??): lesbians seek ways to get pregnant and gay men are forced into "fake" marriages because they want to become parents. But they use a picture showing "topless" pretty women only (men are well dressed) to depict homosexuals. Is "topless women" the only way to convey to readers what homosexuals are?? In addition, in its 6/13/2010 Sunday health article about hip in general, it featured a "bottomless" curvy woman (no men). Again, this "bottomless" curvy woman picture (with no pant ) is unnecessary. I don't think the picture sends a correct message to readers. It is somewhat degrading the women especially the beautiful ones with good physique. I certainly don't want my children thinking their parents reading "porn" newspaper. I'd upgrade the rating of this newspaper higher if they stop using "porn" like figures in its magazine or articles.

As far as the business advertisement, customers won't usually mention they came because of your Sing Tao ads so it will help if you put a coupon on the ad that way you will see the result better. Most of the Chinese customers will usually come in with the coupon for discounts or free items. Sing Tao ads have been bringing us a lot of customers in the last 15 years. The one star off is because they have been cutting budget recently so the paper quality has reduced.

With this being such a hard time for our family, Ashley was very understand and patient with us still insuring that we got the obituaries on time for the service. We've worked with Ashley before and in spite of the situation we're glad she was able to work with us again! Thank you for X's obituaries Ashley!

Hunza Graphics is the best printer I know…read more We have been using Hunza Graphics to print our business cards, letterhead, envelopes, thank you cards, feedback forms and newsletters since 2003. Every time I use another printer I regret it. The professionals at Hunza graphics are fabulous. I mean ... they do what they say they will do at the the price they quote. Their quality is unsurpassed. They will do their best ... ask for John McCutchen ... he is a champ! He has come through for me on so many projects. He offers his best prices and he is a master at great customer service. They hand deliver every order to my door. Remember ... it is a print shop. Ask for a tour to see how a real print shop works. Ask to see samples of their work. You will be impressed.

The motto of every graphic design industry I've been in is: "Can I get that yesterday?"…read more Hunza provided quality support and customer care from the first call. While another local shop couldn't even get me a quote (even after I met the person in person!), Habib of Hunza had the quote for me, broken down by the next day. I looked into one other printer locally, but Hunza beat them in price by a significant amount, plus, they were literally blocks away. Our product was an odd size, but they had no problem accommodating us. I even got a tour of the print area to see that they are indeed a professional, well organized shop. A week went by after I had said we'd have our product (due to internal revisions on the product) and Prizal was flexible and understood the issue. Finally, with product in hand, I rode over on bike and gave them the InDesign file. Rushing at the last minute, I had to put my file on a flash drive, instead of a DVD, but I was helped and out of the office within 10-minutes. We ran into some print issues of the paper spreading and messing with the offset registration (a combination of factors: going against grain, recycled content paper and paper size). They called me immediately, I came over and judged that the color shift did not merit the wasted paper from increasing the size of the paper. We also ran into another communications error on when the product was expected, but Habib managed to get in contact with the bindery to get the product to us. I highly recommend them, I'm certain that if you're company or product isn't as last-minute as ours was, they'll deliver above and beyond their expectations.
