This place was okay! Greek food is authentic but I would've appreciated if the chicken was cooked in a pan not just microwaved. Also if the wrap was warm, not cold. The kibbies weren't great. The staff were very nice and the line was very quick.

The most delicious and authentic Middle East & Mediterranean food in Miami! Their menu is simple, salad, wrap or platter. We had the giro wrap and it was so delicious! The pita was soft, the giro was tasty, the tzatziki was creamy and the veggies were fresh. They also have a little market and a bakery with fresh baklava.

Amazing small Mediterranean restaurant located in Pinecrest. Has been a staple for years and has very good options for food, fast service and lots of options. Food is always fresh and they serve you a good quantity size. Parking is easily accessible! Always recommend this place and a clean option for food Ordered : Curry Chicken platter with Tabouli and rice

I guess I've been living under a rock because this was my first time at The Daily Bread. For those of you also living under a rock it is a market and a restaurant. It is set up cafeteria style & you can eat in house or take to go. I ordered the gyro platter with a Greek salad and hummus. The platter comes with a pita and was fantastic! I came in at lunch and it was pretty busy. The service was quick and food was great!

    Lots of options

Nothing better than getting a bite to eat while getting Mediterranean groceries. I was in the Pinecrest area and I found this on the way and decided that I'd look for some Mediterranean cheese and snacks that I love. Surely enough, they had them. I got some groceries and had a small side of tabbouleh and it was really good and quick. The service was very good. They were very friendly and accommodating. I like the way it was divided down so that if you were there for a nice Mediterranean meal, you can order from a variety of options that they have and have it there. Theres a whole section of tables and chairs to have your meal so it's not just a to go meal. And on the other hand, if you wanted to shop for some groceries, there are many shelves and refrigerators to look through. Guaranteed you will not leave empty handed. There are just too many delicious options, whether you want to have an entire meal, a small side of tabbouleh, some pastries, some desserts or just shop!

Gigi was so sweet and knowledgeable on all the toppings and platters, my husband and I wanted to buy the entire store. You can see the high quality of the products as well as the ingredients. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Nicolas and he was extremely welcoming! The ambiance is nicely laid out with plenty of chocolate, and produce to choose from, the establishment is maintained clean. Will most definitely be back, high quality, delicious food, amazing service. 10/10

What can I say? Daily bread is always a hit! This is very much comfort food for me. I love that they have a little market where I usually buy pita bread, grape leaves, and kefir. The food never disappoints and they treat you like family when you are ordering. Lots of places to sit and enjoy your food. I love getting the platters they're all great

My favorite lunch spot in the area! The food is amazing and so fresh. I always get the chicken kabob platter with either veggies and beets or veggies and one of the cous cous. My husband gets the gyro sandwich almost everyday for lunch and absolutely loves it. The pita is made right there and is the best pita in miami. The spring rolls are the best spring rolls I've ever had. My favorite sauce is the daily bread sauce. The staff is so kind and helpful to me always! Don't forget a fresh baked sour dough bread at check out (limited).

Even when you don't know what you're eating, the food is good! I usually take things to go but decided to order a platter today to eat there: sumac chicken, rice and babaganoush ($12.99). I would give this a five star but there server was particularly impatient and annoyed that I had questions about the different food options. But the food was good and so this was forgiven. Someone who seems like an owner and manager was much more kind and understanding and able to explain with more patience. Unfortunately all the tables were very dirty and In my time there never saw anyone wipe things down or even offer to clean them for those eating in. I later went to their refrigerated drinks to buy a bottled yogurt drink, but the girl first charged me 8.99 for this 16 fluid ounce bottle. I stared back in disbelief...inflation can't be this bad?! I said I wouldn't buy it at that price. She then said, let me check the price again. $3.20...now that's more reasonable...

I had no idea they had a second store in Cutler Bay. I had been to the one near UM a few years ago and assumed that was the only one. Went here for lunch with a friend/co worker. This one is much smaller in size that the one near UM. They have like 3 shelves with various products to buy and 2 displays that have sweets on them. A small cooler has beverages. The menu board is a nice LED one that shows all of the varieties they offer. I got a DB rice bowl with chicken and a side of spicy sauce of some sort. Loved the flavor in it and wish it had a tad more heat. The bowl was ok, but nothing special that you can't find anywhere else at placed that have these make your own bowls. Service was TOP NOTCH and every one was realllllly friendly. Seating is limited so if you go during a bust time, you will not get to sit. They seem to do a lot of take out. They make pita bread there and you can watch them do so. Very clean overall. Prices are on par with most places like this, the DB rice bowl was $11.50. Try it out if you are in the area and want something with a Mediterranean vibe.

Seating is mostly outdoors and beautifully decorated, definitely a nice selection for an intimate event. Service was wonderful! The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.

Plan accordingly unless you enjoy dining in 85° with a side of humidity. Parking? Practically a scavenger hunt. There's no real on-site option; we ended up trekking about six blocks to a public garage. Apparently there's valet somewhere nearby, but you'd never know it because there were no signs, no heads up, just vibes. They tout a Michelin Bib Gourmand, which set expectations and maybe a little too high. Unfortunately, the food just didn't deliver. Several dishes landed squarely in the "looks better than it tastes" category--pretty, but surprisingly flavorless. At those prices, you expect at least a little wow. Service was fine, but forgettable. All in all, between the heat, the flies, the parking adventure, and the underwhelming food, this one's a pass for me. Won't be making a return trip.

I tried the Moroccan Mojito, which was so refreshing. To eat, we tried the Shawarma Sushi and $1 chicken wing. The Shawarma Sushi name can be a bit misleading. It a wrap that was cut in form of sushi. It was good. I was hesitant about ordering chicken wings but I'm so glad we did because they were so delicious and crispy. They may have been the best chicken wing I've had. The service was excellent. I accidentally dropped my cocktail and they immediately cleaned it up and moved us to another clean table. I apologized for dropping it but not once did they made me feel bad about it. Instead, one of the staff stated it was an indication of having a great time. They also replaced my drink at no extra cost. A guy, who I assumed was the manager or owner, also passed by our table and ensured we were enjoying our time. Our server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink that I ordered, but I did not mind it because I actually loved the Moroccan Mojito and instead ordered another one. I also loved how they have copper cups because it makes water taste so much better. Their attention to small details like that makes the difference. Overall, I felt so welcomed and definitely have to return for more chicken wings.

For context, I worked in fine dining in New York and Miami for almost 20 years, so I notice the details immediately, hospitality, management presence, the energy of a room. You can usually tell pretty quickly what kind of operation you're dealing with. We were a party of five. I arrived with my four-year-old son and was greeted warmly by the hostess. That warmth ended instantly. Standing directly behind her were two managers in suits blocking the main entrance. Both looked straight at me and my child and said absolutely nothing. No hello, no smile, no acknowledgment. Anyone in hospitality knows that moment sets the tone. As an Arab woman who grew up around a culture where hospitality is everything, it was already a bad sign. We were seated outside and the vibe stayed cold. Unfortunately, the food matched it. We ordered a lot because I genuinely wanted to give the kitchen a fair shot. I grew up eating Lebanese food and what stood out most was the lack of soul. Everything felt flat, like it needed salt, lemon, brightness, that warm Mediterranean seasoning Lebanese food is known for. The tabouli was especially shocking. A $20+ tabouli with no bulgur that was so roughly chopped it was basically whole parsley leaves and slices of onion. Any Lebanese auntie would die at the sight of it. At one point I asked our server if they had harissa or any kind of spicy sauce. She said the only option was Sriracha. In a Lebanese restaurant that charges $18 for a tablespoon of hummus. An Asian chili sauce as the only option. What made it even stranger is that harissa is listed on multiple dishes on the menu, so it clearly exists somewhere in the building. I asked for the Sriracha anyway out of desperation for flavor. It never came. Same with ketchup for my toddler's fries, it took three requests. Throughout the meal I walked around the restaurant several times taking my son to the bathroom, looking around the space, even going upstairs to the lounge. Not a single person acknowledged us. Not a host, not a server, not a manager. The bar is right by the entrance and every time we looked over at the bartender and bar manager, just blank stares. At one point we were clearly standing there confused looking for the bathroom in an empty restaurant and still had to say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" Wild. Later I walked up to the bar myself to ask if they carried mezcal. After dinner I went back to order one. Same energy--zero warmth, zero engagement. And this is with an automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. The mezcal was a $25 two-ounce pour and I still had to ask for an orange slice garnish because no one offered it. Empty bar, two people behind it, and I still had to request it. Also worth noting, our reservation was at 5:45pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Yet I didn't see a single manager walking the floor, greeting tables, or checking on guests. I had talked this place up to my party because I'd been so curious about it for years, and it was honestly a huge letdown. If you know Lebanese food and understand Middle Eastern warmth and hospitality, this probably isn't the place for you. Expect cold, almost nonexistent hospitality and food that feels stripped of the soul that makes Lebanese cuisine special. The space is beautiful. I'll give them that. Everything else felt like a very on-brand Miami disappointment, what happens when you give people a beautiful restaurant, expensive food, automatic gratuity, and no leadership. From the lack of authenticity and attention to detail, it's hard to believe anyone truly Lebanese is behind this operation. If anything, it feels more like a polished money grab. Honestly, it might have been less jarring if they just called themselves "Mediterranean" like so many other places in this city. But if you're going to call yourself a Lebanese restaurant, the culture and hospitality should actually be there.

We waited outside for about 20 minutes past our reservation time before being seated. Once inside, the dining room was severely overcrowded. Tables were placed so close together that servers repeatedly bumped into my girlfriend throughout the short time we were seated. It was obvious additional tables had been added for the holiday, and the atmosphere felt chaotic and cramped rather than romantic. I specifically chose this restaurant for what I believed would be an intimate Valentine's setting, and that expectation was completely undermined. Service was equally disappointing. Our server appeared to be handling far too many tables. We did not receive water for approximately 15 minutes after sitting down, and by 9:15 PM -- 45 minutes after our reservation time -- we had still not been able to order drinks. At that point, we decided to leave and find dinner elsewhere. We ultimately paid $40 for a reservation where we were never properly served and did not dine at the restaurant. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. Also, the atmosphere they've created both indoors and outdoors really draws you in: beautiful foliage, gorgeous decor, and inviting decor. They play amazing Greek music to set the mood at a very reasonable volume so you can still hear your party. I've been for lunch during Miami spice and recently for dinner. Everything I've had was delicious with tons of flavor and huge portions. Both times I took enough leftovers for another meal! I especially love their zucchini fritters and their spread plate. All their spreads are so fresh and flavorful but their hummus especially was soo good. My husband and I shared the meat platter for two for dinner and enjoyed everything on it - the loukaniko was especially delicious! For dessert, you can't miss the galatoboureko, a sweet custard dessert with the flaky phyllo dough you know and love from baklava. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend for a lunch date or dinner date and it's super versatile: great for friends, families or romantic dates. Don't miss this beautiful restaurant in downtown!

Oh my God where do I start! We had the best date night. This place is so amazing. I went with low…read moreexpectations given my knowledge and experience with mediterranean food in miami: small portions, bland taste. This is completely different and out of this world! The food is super tasty, super fresh, portions are adequate without paying a steep price. The salad: we got a greek salad, it was way bigger than what we expected, the tomatos and feta cheese were delicious and my fiance thought that this was the star dish. Its not your basic salad. The waitress prepared it right infront of us and cut fresh tomatos and veggies on a station. Saganaki: must order, this was my favorite dish. Even though its such a simple ingredient (cheese) the flavor is crazy, they torched it and heated it infront of us and we couldn't stop eating it Souvlaki: the chicken was delicious, we got two full skewers, they serve it with fries and their special sauce which is so delicious! Even the fries were delicious and well seasoned! Octopus: this was mind blowing, especially with the meraki sauce. This is technically an appetizer but feels like a whole dish!! And its only for $24 whereas other places tend to overcharge! We had planned to order more but by that time we were full. The menu is rich and there is still so much to try. We will be heading here more frequently and sharing with you our dishes!! 5 stars well deserved! Instagram: @ri_reviews961
