They were so friendly and accommodating, even speaking to the endodontist on call who made arrangements to see her first thing in the morning tomorrow. It started with the bright and cheery greeting we received from Heather. Then on to an hour appointment with Dr. Wang, she is the most pleasant, cheerful, thorough dentist I have ever met. Not only did I get a COMPLETE cleaning along with a set of X-rays. Dr. Wang talked me through everything she was going to do. She explained where she wanted my teeth to be (look healthy and happy) and how to get there. My husband, who is not overly fond of dentists, took to her right away. She has a lovely calming personality, always smiling and explaining. If I could give her 10 stars I would. My husband had a crown pop off last night, he left Dr. Wang a voice mail message and received a phone call this morning to come in at 11:00 (she is closed on Monday's) to take care of the crown. My new patient visit included x-rays, a thorough cleaning, MANY photos of what my teeth actually look like (yikes, the plaque!), a tooth-brushing demonstration, and guidance about how to use a Water Pik. The treatment plan she formulated for me was conservative, fair, and reasonable, and there was not one attempt to try to upsell me. She taught me so much about my teeth and oral hygiene care in that initial visit. And like any good educator, she was transparent about the work she was doing and what she plans to do with my teeth. I found her to be so motivating and encouraging. As someone who has never been a consistently good dental patient, I really appreciated her approach. I went back a month later for a few fillings and she showed me (via before and after photos) how much I've improved in my oral hygiene and a few areas where I need to be more diligent. I arrived at 10:30 and waited 30 minutes until I was called by this time. I need to take another anxiety pill when I came into the room and was told I was going to have to wait even longer to be seen. I saw that there was multiple notes that were written on the chart and an including wrong time for check-in which they had stated was 1045 which was wrong it was 10:30 Without my consent or knowledge, they added two more procedures onto my chart which included two more fillings on the top teeth. When I asked why two more feelings were added to the procedure when that is not what I came for I was told "well that's what's on your chart and that's what you need " and could not give me an explanation. The dental hygienist was very aware. I was having a panic attack, I took my medicine in front of her because I had waited so long already and did not care. If you have to pay out-of-pocket here, please make sure you go and get multiple quotes. They were going to charge me over $900 for two bonding of the teeth. I went to a separate dentist that same day to talk to them and they were only going to charge me $140 per tooth. Today on Saturday November 8th, I received an automated message saying that I was a no-show and if I want to return to their office, I need to leave a deposits. That i had already missed 3 or more appointments. This was only 2nd visit to this dentist... okay... No phone call to see if you're OK and when would you like to return. Why would I return here in the 1st place? No customer service here. They obviously do not care about their patients. Don't waste your time and energy.

In my experience, staff are usually willing to help clarify coverage so that patients can receive care. This office came highly recommended, so I was really hoping for a better first impression. Then they made me another appointment where the dentist is going to sit down with me and work out a plan of action to get everything done that needs attention from immediate to what can wait until my insurance renewal next year to help me save money out of my pocket.
