He's one of the few physicians around who isn't all about the over prescribing of pharmaceuticals -- especially antibiotics. I had NO idea that there were two clinics in the Puyallup area with almost identical names...I accidentally went to the wrong one. Upon realization, the staff there called to let the other office know and as soon as I got on my way I did the same. There is nowhere near enough parking at this giant clinic, so I let my daughter out with her insurance card and she raced in. She was one minute past the grace period, and they wouldn't see her. I went in with my baby on my hip, explained the situation (which she was already aware of) and then asked to speak to a clinic manager. Conveniently, nobody was on site to talk to and the woman at the desk wasn't willing to do anything to help. I understand they're now part of a large health system, and there are rules but I believe common sense and compassion should be part of healthcare. The provider could have been willing to see us for ten minutes, he wasn't given the choice. They could have tried to work with us and I would have sat there all morning in case someone else was running late. I have worked for a medical group in the past, and work for an insurance company so I understand there are rules and how the healthcare system works but I also believe in being compassionate and that not every situation is created equal. If this were my children's pediatrician, I would immediately change their care. I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone.

We were very excited to meet Dr. Chang and the appointment went well in general. But the main thing…read morewe went in there for is because we had a change of insurance and had to find a new pediatrician who would help with ADHD medication. Unfortunately, Dr. Chang refused to provide access to the medication. We called around 30 or 40 pharmacies, and the only place we could find it was CVS mail order. He said he doesn't trust mail order, and therefore was unwilling to transfer the prescription to that service, so now we are in the situation of needing to find a new pediatrician who might be able to see us before the medication runs out, which is unlikely. If you need a hard to find medication, I advise against going here.
