Dagny is the most exceptional, exceptional, exceptional agent I've ever run into. She lists a house after completely rehabbing the house for the owner beneficiaries of the deceased mother. Starting with removing and disposing all the furniture and contents, having the entire interior and exterior painted, totally improving the landscaping and doing it in mere weeks. Dagny is really nice but she spent months and months going 'window shopping' while wasting a lot of time. She kept showing us houses on very busy roads (we have kids) and other houses that had dealbreakers we had discussed - like houses with detached garages. She dropped the ball on a bid we placed and we lost out to a LOWER bid. Wish I had a better review but that was my experience. It's nothing personal but we wasted a lot of precious time. Another agent found us a perfect house in one weekend and it was a completely different experience. read more

Dagny was amazing. We were living in California and needed to find a house in Connecticut. Dagny set us up with ELEVEN homes to tour and we saw them in TWO DAYS. Not to mention, the tours happened the day after Christmas. Once we settled on the house we wanted, Dagny was with us every step of the way. Even when we were back in California dealing with the sale of our house there, Dagny made sure to personally attend to inspections, etc at our new place. We also appreciated Dagny's knowledge about the Wilton/Weston/Ridgefield area and her tips on what to look out for in every house. Dagny was great. Would recommend her to anyone. read more

My wife and I are from Manhattan, NYC and were shopping for a second home in Wilton / New Canaan / Westport area of Connecticut. We have purchased real estate in the past but this is our first venture in buying a house. She took a lot of anxiety and stress away by being so experienced and competent. In total, I have purchased 4 properties with agents and Dagny Eason has been the best one. She understands the market and also gave us insights on what to look for in a house outside of the obvious lot / location / layout. She really helped us avoid buying a house that would later give us buyer's remorse, she helped us find the perfect home for our needs in a seller's market. She goes beyond the house, she made sure that the town would fit our needs as well. She escorted us around the town and showed us what it offers. She put in the time and effort to understand what we were looking for. Making a big purchase in a house is stressful and you need to count on your agent to make it as easy as possible throughout the whole process, from finding the home, to making the offer and getting it accepted, Dagny definitely did that for us, I highly recommend her. read more

I have known Dagny for nearly 30 years and she is one of the most knowledgeable and dedicated realtors I know ! She brings not only professionalism and patience to the search and purchase, but also insight and knowledge. More specifically, during the search she works hard to determine the client's needs and aesthetic sensibilities and is very selective in what she shows. For the negotiations, inspections and closing you exceed expectations, always putting her client's interests first, and offers guidance and support in every step of the process. For her client's looking to sell, she is thorough in planning and staging of the home as well as the marketing efforts via many facets to ensure maximum visibility and a timely sale. Whether you are looking to sell or purchase - Dagny is an excellent choice ! read more

Dagny just sold my home in Wilton. If you listen to her advice, you will get results! Everything she predicted was spot-on. I followed her advice to make some improvements before listing, using her recommendations for the easiest and most reasonable ways to update. I used her team of professionals, who were each the best crew possible. The painter and his crew, the handyman, the kitchen professional, were all amazing- Dagny demands perfection from her crew and she gets nothing less. They've all worked with her for years, they respect her and deliver to her expectations. Dagny was always available, and even rolled up her sleeves and pitched in more than once. She knows the market! She predicted multiple offers and we got it! Couldn't have a more hands -on person. Having bought and sold several properties, I can say that you can't go wrong with Dagny! Dagny helped us to sell our house and buy another in Wilton CT. She was patient, kind and incredibly helpful. She gave us honest feedback about improvements and price before listing. With her guidance and feedback, we got 2 offers based off of 6 showings in a difficult real estate climate - with two kids and two dogs this was crucial to my sanity. Throughout the home buying process, we felt like every decision and action Dagny took was to protect our best interest and ensure that we were exposed to the lowest amount of risk. She kindly and clearly explained things to us (regularly) that we were unfamiliar with and was so patient as we looked at many houses - and we are so grateful to her. I have been a home inspector since 2001. I have met and worked with countless real estate agents over that time. Dagny Eason stands out among them. Why? I have never had an agent who constantly pushes me, the inspector, to be more thorough. She will often ask, have you looked at this or that? Being certain that I haven't missed something. A refreshing attitude. She will check in with me at various points during the inspection to be sure the new homeowners are being educated about their new home. It is always a pleasure to work with Dagny. She is very friendly and pleasant, but tough. She looks out for her clients. read more

My husband and I recently moved from Brooklyn to North Stamford, and we couldn't be more pleased that we chose Dagny as our realtor! As first-time homebuyers coming from the city, we relied on Dagny's great expertise in not only homebuying, but everything about the home itself: how it operates, red flags, hidden value, unexpected expenses, etc. Her wise counsel and experience in the bidding process saved us many thousands of dollars which we can now put to landscaping, furniture, and savings. Her knowledge is truly encyclopedic, and we found her decades of experience invaluable. Further, she is an aficionado of landscaping -- truly a fount of advice. Finally, Dagny has been my source of all the servicepeople in whom we've trusted the care of our new home -- all of them so competent and with the best prices in town. Dagny is a gem, a hoot to work with, I don't know what we'd have done without all her services on top of the actual homebuying process, and I recommend her to anyone! read more
