As a 30-something, I had such a great time at the Daer Dayclub! EDM as the background, this club channels the Las Vegas pool parties I am familiar with. Hayden led us to our reserved table, and Jason, the bar manager, upgraded us to a daybed. Monique was our server and she took care of us the whole time (even when some girls tried to sit on our daybed while my party took a dip in the pool , she politely informed them that the area was reserved). Jorge, the customer development manager, also checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time. This was definitely an experience I wasn't expecting. The service and attentiveness from the staff was above par. I would definitely recommend this dayclub even if you think you're "done" with your pool partying years (lol). read more

Interestingly enough, 6 of us flew to Miami this past weekend to celebrate our Sorority sister's birthday. We saw that Daer had tickets on Eventbrite to come to a pool party. After being on redeye and coming from the west coast, we pushed through our any hint of being tired, but on our swim wear and called the $60 uber to take us to Daer. We get there at almost noon (the party started at 11am). We get in line and pull up the Eventbrite tickets. The guy does not honor them. He then let's all these other people in that are not "diverse" yet he won't even let us pay to get in. Extremely disappointed. Not enough fair priced seating. Over $250 and up if you want to get a regular high top chair and table. The only cover from the rain is by the bar in the back of the day club and if you buy a overpriced vip chair and have a medium sized umbrella to hide under otherwise you're stuck in the bathroom for shelter from the rain. Then if the performer you're waiting for doesn't come out for a couple hours you will be just standing in puddles of dirty water because the drains don't work correctly. read more

Went to this nightclub to see a DJ perform and had to leave since so many people were smoking cigarettes inside. They were not even allowing people outside to smoke. It was so disgusting. Organic weed is fine but chemical laden tobacco cigarettes are disgusting. You couldn't pay me to return here. read more

Came here with my friends to see Deadmau5. Friend asks the bartender for 4 drinks, she gets two of them wrong and we're trying to tell her it was only two instead of four and she said "Well I can't refund cause I already charged the card", she goes onto giving us two drinks "for free" and gets mad we didn't tip. She then told all the bartenders on that bar not to serve us because we didn't tip. All the bartenders were basically ignoring us the whole time unless one of them didn't have a choice, we bought a bottle of water and gave her $20 tip. It was stressing to say the least, the one bartender kept on glaring at us the whole night, no customer service. read more

I am placing a 2 star for Ana our server that was amazing and music was great but aside from that If your planning on having a girls day out (DONT GO HERE) there is not enough security to watch over the VIP areas, I was treated very poorly by the manager Kody I called security three times for a gentleman consistently visiting our area and making all the girls feel uncomfortable and it wasn't really being addressed. They only allow water bottles in pairs of 6 and people were passing by our ice bucket and grabbing ice to eat, girls were fighting in the bathrooms for the stalls and screaming at other girls they had 30 seconds to pee and get out AND SO WAS THE BATHROOM TENANT ! this place was not worth the headache or price. I LOVE the day club! It's so much fun, and the talent is always top notch! I've seen so many amazing DJs here. Definitely that Vegas pool party vibe, but close to home. If you're a local it's a fun spot to go that's out of the normal Miami and Ft. Lauderdale club scene. Fun spot to go with a group or just one other person. The cabanas are nice and the servers are so sweet! Went here for the nightclub. It was fun and packed out. Seen lots of women of all shapes and sizes, so I don't understand the reviews that claim they don't let larger women in. Music was poppin. As expected, the drinks were expensive for the amount of alcohol actually in the drink. Came here twice to see Diplo and to see Steve Aoki. Had an amazing time, our bottle girl when we saw Diplo was SO sweet and kept checking to make sure we were having fun and gave great recommendations. Bottle prices were basically the same as every Miami club. The DJ that opened for Diplo and the one that opened for Steve Aoki were honestly both great on their own. Overall it was similar to Vegas pool parties!! Awesome vibe, loved it more than the other pool parties I've been to in miami. read more

Beyond disappointed. The Hardrock was a location I loved to visit because of the nightclub/nightlife atmosphere. First, I understand you just put a lot of money into a hotel, but Daer looks like they just stopped halfway. You walk inside and there are couches to the left and right (VIP) and a dance floor. No decor... nothing at all that "wowed" me. To charge an entrance fee, which I'm sorry, is ridiculous, I should be walking into something that's worth my $20 entrance fee and my boyfriends $25. We came on a random Saturday w/ some random youtube/Instagram star who sang 4 songs and left. You'd really get more attention and people coming in if you didn't charge a silly fee, especially for somebody you know is not worth the money. The only two reasons I can give this place two stars is because of 1. The DJ was good and 2. The bartenders have good pours. DJ had a mixture of music that appeased the crowd. You have the younger side and an older crowd, mostly overflow from the hotel. The bartenders were not nasty, as I have read in other reviews. Maybe we got lucky? But that night all bartenders we went to were wonderful, peppy, and super attentive. Thank God for this because its the only justification I can get for the insane price that you are charging people... $16 bucks for tequila and sprite. Stay away from Daer. As a south Florida local Daer is the worst of the worst. Overpriced and extremely pushy bottle girls. We spent $4500 on the table alone without any drinks. As we are ordering bottles the bottle girl is extremely rude and condescending telling us "not to worry about the price" no one is worried about the price we are worried about volume and making sure everyone gets the bottle they want. Every time a bottle came to the table she would pour it in everyone's mouth including ransoms that weren't associated with us. This bottle girl was on a mission to pour out all of our bottles she would even spill the bottles all over the ground. No wonder we ran through 5bottles in less than an hour for only 10 people. On top of that security is extremely rude he looks over at our promoter and calls the girls in our section ugly and asks when are the bad bitches coming. So uncalled for and this was within the first 10 mins of being there. Overall we spent 6k and was not only disrespected but treated like nothing but a dollar sign in the eyes of our bottle girl. DON'T "DAER" VISIT THIS PLACE!!! VIP Service is an absolute joke!! We were robbed more than a grand just to be abused and assaulted! What should have been a 39th birthday celebration for 12, turned out to be an experience from hell! From the beginning we were treated as if we were prisoners going into holding cells. No smiles from any of the check-in staff and a very curt way of demanding a credit card and driver's license at the front, which was never returned after asking back for it twice and them rudely saying they gave it back. We were then escorted to a table by a dark dank corner by the entrance of a service door with no view, and another loud party practically right on top of us after verifying with "Alexander" over a week beforehand that we reserved a "Garden Table" in which we could see the lights from the Guitar Hotel. The waitress that was assigned to us did not greet us warmly and was less than happy to be serving us because we wanted different drinks instead of a single bottle, making her very unhappy because she would actually have to work for the automatic $400 gratuity. As if her attitude was not bad enough, the security thugs who we witnessed drinking shots behind the bar, immediately started hovering over us like they were wardens of the state, mind you, we were a group of middle-aged people who have never had any issues anywhere we have been in the past. Now the worst part, the waitress arbitrarily decided that the very person who was paying for the whole party was cut-off after one drink and refused service for no reason. There was no behavior related to the decision as the person was just sitting down at the table relaxing and was never spoken to directly or given any legitimate reason for the decision. Everyone else at the party was informed to the embarrassment of the party host in which they just asked to be given the actual reason for the decision, instead they were met with arrogance and belligerent assault by both the security and management. They were all acting smug with their attitudes and extremely unprofessional and discourteous behavior. They were instigating violence with their demeanor as if they were wishing we would get out of control so they could physically assault us next. However, we decided to walk out immediately. Upon speaking with one of the security personnel from the Hardrock property who was right outside of the club, he was shocked at what we had told him had occurred inside the rooftop bar and he spoke with the party host himself and admitted he did not see any sign of inebriation or irrational behavior. He apologized. Never the less, the security brutes from the club all ganged up after us after we walked out willingly and decided, yet that they had to follow us all the way across the property back to our Guitar Tower Junior Suite. We all are a group of professional and this is the most embarrassing and traumatic experience we have ever been put through. This place should be shut down immediately. No one should ever have to experience something like this ever again. I have asked to speak with the General Manager of this club to see if matters can be resolved amicably, but no one provided me with any information on who to reach. This place is a "Bait and Switch."
