I didn't get the driver's name but he was super nice, efficient and knew exactly what he was doing. I needed a tow off I-90 on Saturday, July 19 in the afternoon. Toyota Care gave me a Thruway Authority number to arrange for a towing service. That number went to a human right away and he was very helpful. My daughters car was towed here, she was told they would call her with a diagnoses and price to repair. A week later she calls multiple times and gets no answers other than being told "no storage fee and that they'd sell for parts or junk it for her" being a kid she believed that. No more calls from them at all, I call a week later and get YELLED at by the man that answered the phone and told they'd never sell for parts and she's been charged $60/day since its been there. Moral of the story, guy's disrespectful and misleading. And took advantage of my kid!! read more

had two blowouts on the thruway they were good about coming out to help and brought me a tire with rim but when using the jack they placed it on my axil which then bent it I called them and they have gave me nothing but the run around , I'd think they'd know not to place a big jack on an axil anyway now I have to get an axil read more

I had a few atvs stuck that i needed help getting out. I called and played phone tag between different people there. They say 24/7 but its not really. The price quote i felt was extremely high and was an F off price. I ended up getting a buddy to pull them out for 100 bucks instead of several thousand. I would not recommend unless you have no family friends or even strangers willing to help you out. The money that they wanted i instead used to buy a winch and gear to get unstuck in the future. read more

My wife was driving our car when it broke down on the NYS Thruway. Dadswell's arrived and the driver was extremely professional. He towed our car to their facility and made an initial diagnosis. The care ultimately had to be sent to the dealer, but the staff members we dealt with were extremely courteous, fair and professional. I would recommend this company. read more

Had 2 service jobs with this "company" both on the same day. One for my vehicle the other my camper. The first man out did an good job, had good customer service. The second crew not only didn't listen to this provider for the 40 mins on the phone with him, or over AN HOUR later, when on the phone with myself after a promised 5-10 min arrival time! Then once at my location TOLD ME "a woman ALONE with just her kids hauling a camper.... prob not the best idea right?!" Then, "You know you shouldn't have tried to pull your camper through a back to back site as they are back up sites right!?!?, won't do that again either huh!" Never mind the 48 hours of continuous rain prior to this, and the fact the truck getting me out got stuck themselves! They came to the conclusion they couldn't do anything with their truck, a truck larger then that of which first came on scene, and was told to come with the 4X4 pick up, fleet maintenance vehicle instead of. REALLY! Then offered for the first provider to return in their personal vehicle a truck after he was done with work!!!! I was already on the phone with AAA and they said they would send someone else to help. Well turns out the campground I was at contracts with this provider and only allowed them on the grounds! Liability contact blah blah blah! So I had to go with the personal vehicle option. Promised to arrive NO LaTEr than 6pm, that would be 7 hours into this whole ordeal!!! When originally told it would take less than an hour for completion. Then they didn't get it done UNTIL 10 PM! After hours of dodging calls from AAA. I decided to call them myself, was answered by a very groggy hello, from the night on call driver whom told me the owners son Brandon, was not only the driver whom was offensive, he was the one now returning after avoiding and telling everyone else to avoid any AAA calls!!! From moment of my first call and completion of actual job was 11 HOURS!!! After a promised 30-45 min deal, but def no more than an hour. To shame the owners son, Brandon, and his partner that just looked to the ground when he was making these comments clearly uncomfortable, given he looked all of 14-15yrs old tops! I hope you NEVER have family treated as poorly as you treat others clearly standing behind a contract I will NOW do just about everything in my power to assure you no longer obtain. So many other reputable companies that can deliver on this contract THAT I AM sure if And hope Darien Lake hopto be as well. ***UPDATE! Had my car towed here as it was recommended by AAA, which was the beginning of the nightmare. When I went to pick up my car after paying for the simple alternator repair; my car had been hit on their property (to the extent the hood was extremely dented, car emblem off, front light loose). One of the employees suggestion to me was to "just drive it you'll be fine." They also said that they would be fair and work with insurance. My insurance could not get ahold of them and they never followed through with doing the right thing. To make matters worse, when my insurance company came to see the damage they opened the hood and saw that when Dadswell replaced the alternator they did not secure the screws- not a single one of them meaning they did not even complete the job I paid them to do. Giving a one star is actually too giving- the lack of professionalism, not completing the job completely and leaving the part unscrewed, and the lack of accountability was astonishing. read more
