They are a good barbershop. However, during a pandemic having half their staff not wearing masks is not acceptable to me. Also a customer came in during my haircut, unmasked and mentioning he was just recovering from Covid. And nobody asked him to wear a mask!. So I'm going to look for a new barbershop. read more

I've been to this barber shop three times now and I have been extremely satisfied with my haircut every time. I first stumbled across this place through Yelp as I saw the amazing reviews and I decided to give it a shot because I didn't want to drive all the way out to where I usually go anymore. Upon going in, the appearance seemed as any other barber shop but everything was furnished and there was ample seating with TVs and music so that was a plus. It is also very spacious and comfortable. The haircut was superb. I definitely recommend asking Yuri to cut your hair if it's your first time. He really knows what he's doing and he makes sure to pay attention to the little details. He is really nice and friendly. Every time I get a haircut, I enjoy conversing with him here and there as it makes me more comfortable and trusting that he'll do a good job. He is a true professional who can give great suggestions and does some amazing cuts. Also for the price of $18, it is worth every penny. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. By far the worst haircut I ever received in my life. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I have a very simple combover haircut, nothing fancy. I asked for a small trim with the scissors only. The haircut looks absolutely horrible, the sides are maybe a 2 on the buzzer and the top is past my eyebrows. The sideburns are thin lines. It's going to take a few months to grow my hair back to where it normally is and I'm also going to have to go to a different barber to make this look presentable. read more

Saw Yuri today for the first time in a few months. He's been cutting my hair for the last five years. Knows how to use clippers, razors, etc. Always gives me an awesome skin fade. Guys, if you're looking for an awesome skin fade, go to him. You won't regret it. The pricing for the barber shop is quite reasonable. $18 for a haircut. I like that it's very convenient to the Great Neck LIRR station and there's a parking lot across the street. So it's accessible. It's a very nice spot. Also, there's a lot of business to explore. I have been to this shop before and had good esperiences with the younger barbers. My experience today left me so sour that will never recommend them to anyone. The barber (Boris) who cut my hair will cut your hair anyway he chooses....not the way the customer wants. I repeatedly ask for a shorter cut on the sides. After he told me I was done, I called him out, again telling him I wanted a closer cut. He then showed me the correct size (the one I was asking for) and recut the hair. In the process he trimmed my sideburn on one of the sides without asking (or by accident). After he had done so I asked him to even them out as one was lower than the other. He never did. When paying he lied about the price (increasing it) as he knew he wasn't getting a tip. I immediately went to another place to fix what he had done. read more

I first came here because the barber shops in Queens were still closed due to the pandemic. Turns out I felt much more comfortable here than I did at the shop I used to go to, so I made the switch. They give a great haircut and they make you feel relaxed and at ease even if they don't know you. Highly recommend. read more

I've been going to this barber shop for years, and those that are from around here, like me, know that this place has changed ownership a few times. I will admit that I was skeptical at first, but once Yuri gave me my first haircut, all of the skepticism went away. I could not be more pleased. Ever since ( for the past 9 months or so) they have been my go-to barber in Great Neck for me and my boys (4 and 6). I like the fact that Yuri and Boris are willing to adapt and now accept credit cards and other forms of payment other than cash, that's a huge plus in my book, since who actually carries around cash? In addition, they are open very late which is great since you can get a quick haircut when you get off the train in Great Neck (2-3 min walk). Update pt 2: I've been coming here for two years and I've yet to have a bad cut. I just got my haircut by Yuri and he did such a great job as usual. No missed hairs, no cuts or nicks, straight lines. Quick and painless. Yuri even straight blade shaved the back of my neck and trimmed the eyebrows without me even asking. Everybody needs a "go to" barber. Make sure you go here; Yuri, Boris, and the rest of the barbers will take care of you. They treat you like friends. They will shake your hands and remember your name. read more

Came here for a haircut around 4:20 pm on a Friday afternoon. The wait was not long at all; it was less than 15 minutes. Boris was very friendly and professional. He cut my hair in a way that I wanted while making great suggestions to improve it. The price for the haircut is relatively low. This is a great barber shop. read more
