Car audio enthusiasts beware. Once they took my money it was all down hill. My amp kept blowing the subs so every time I upgraded and paid the extra cost but after a couple of subs the customer service went downhill fast. I came in at 1130 on a Saturday and they said they couldn't get to me that day. I came back the next day and after waiting 2.5 hours I asked the owner if he could take one of his 2 techs off of the one project they had to hook up my sub. He reacted very disrespectfully like he would get to me when he could. I told him this would be my last visit and a helper of his lost his temper and told me to leave and gave me my keys and said go ahead and take off. So I came back 3 days later and they denied me service. He told me that I could go to the Atlantic store across town in 2 days when another employee returned to work. Now im at 8 days, 3 visits and then at the Atlantic store I arrive at 830 when they open and at 9:15 they were all standing inside the store talking with eachother about other vehicles. ???? WTF? So, I said excuse me i dont mean to interrupt but I've been waiting for over a week.... they all started cussing and hollering and even a guy that didn't work there actually started walking towards me like he wanred to fight. A complete nightmare. If that isnt enough 30 minutes later they pull my car back around and said the owner called and said to deny me service and return the sub to Rockford Fosgate and claim a Warranty with them. My box was upside down. All of the screws for the sub were unscrewd laying in my floorboard and the faom stuff inside my box was ripped out. I even had a dent on my speaker. This place is a complete joke i have to file a police report about the damage to me vehicle and spwaker box as my back seat doesnt even go down anymore. ​ read more

I have used them since 1998 and recommended to 100's of people but NO MORE! I wanted a new sat ready radio and they wanted over 300.00 to install after they quoted me 200.00 due to a wiring harness for radio controls, I went to Crutchfield and got the installation kit and detailed instructions and I installed myself in less than 1 hour, I contacted them at daddy O's and all they did was ignore me so I shall now do some free advertising for you as I've already sent 5 people to another respected installer. Daddyo's determined that the cables connecting the camera to the viewing screen had separated and the cables were installed improperly (the cables were drawn under the van not through the body). To fix the problem Daddyo's wanted me to pay $170 to re-draw the cables through the body of the van. On 26 September 2017 I paid Daddyo's $395.89 for the camera, including installation. My neighbor recommend Daddyo's to me. He said they were the best around. I took his advice. Unfortunately that was a lousy recommendation and a bad choice on my part. Bought a vehicle the day before bringing it to the orange park location for them to install a radio and headrest TV's. Once i came to pick up the vehicle i noticed some screws going through my back doors plastic and the worker told me they were closing and I'd have to go to the Atlantic location on monday for any complaints. So i go to the atlantic store and show them the screws as well as some more defects i found after their install. The worker tells me they would get a new piece of plastic trim and fix it, all is well at this time. 3 weeks later i go in to see when the plastic is arriving and the owner tells me that the plastic was already broken prior to me coming in and that I'm a liar and they never said they would fix anything. Its a shame that i ever went to daddy o's. Will not recommend to anyone. I should have listened to the other reviews but thought it wouldn't happen to me. read more

I had a Mercedes CLK-350 that I have been wanting to get the windows tinted for a long time and found this place. They did a very good job and their prices are very reasonable. Brought my other Mercedes C-300 and got it tinted as well. Took a couple of hours and I waited for the job to finish. Would recommended Daddyo's anytime. At this point I would give Daddyo's on Blanding 0 stars if I could. In the last decade, my family has spent thousands of dollars souping up our vehicles - literally THOUSANDS. I have recommended this location to dozens of my friends and forwarded them business numerous times. This afternoon, my father and brother went in to get a 10in Pioneer sub (that had been installed/purchased from Daddyo's two months prior) checked out. The amp was working fine with all lights lit up, but no sound was coming from the sub. They got to speak with Josh, the "manager" who was utterly and absolutely awful to my dad. Josh claimed that the equipment we had was outdated and bad, and tried to get us to buy new equipment - a Planet audio amp and a Kicker sub, which is much cheaper than the Pioneer and Eclipse we have in the vehicle already. When we objected, Josh said, "Well let's take a look at what you have in the truck." My dad replied that "You just said my equipment was bad and outdated, but you don't know what's in my truck?" After this, my dad requested to speak with Jose, an employee who has done work on our other vehicles, and told Josh that they may just be getting off on the wrong foot; to this, Josh replied telling Jose that if he sold anything to my father he would be fired and to get out of the store. My dad definitely attempted to address Josh about the service he received from him, but Josh would not speak kindly to him. Upon hearing this story, I myself called to make a complaint and to see if we could work something out. Josh wasn't at the desk, so I left my name and number and asked for a call back. I missed the call originally, and when I attempted calling back, I got a dial tone like my number had been blocked. I used a different phone and someone answered right away, and I asked to speak with Josh. I myself got to speak with him. As soon as I told him what I would like to speak about, he immediately started defending himself before I could even ask him question. He said he was not going to be disrespected by anybody because he isn't beneath anybody. I stayed calm and asked if he himself went out to test the equipment in our vehicle; I had to ask that question three times before he quit giving me excuses and told me no, he did not check it himself. I also asked him if he threatened to fire Jose in front of a customer for servicing said customer. He tried to justify why he did it, but agreed that he had said that to Jose. I had more questions to ask him, but he interrupted me and wouldn't let me speak. At this point, I was a little less calm, and I tried to speak up, to which he continued talking over me. I told him I would be speaking with Ron Moore (the owner) and that I had already spoken with Billy from their sister store. He said he already talked it out with Ron and that everything would be fine for him, and continued to tell me that I was being rude. I said "I am the customer and I would appreciate it if you would hear me out" but in the middle of me saying this, he yelled at me "You are not the customer, YOU didn't buy anything!" and hung up. I was considering getting a new receiver and amp installed till I read the most recent reviews, I've had installs from them about 8yrs ago, (Alpine system), and all units and speakers are still working great. Looks like a lot has changed with management and employ's since then and really reluctant to go back there for upgrades now. Guess will have to check out other places. The "star rating" reflects my disappointment and not any work or service because I'll not take a chance now. read more

Got my Charger tinted in 2014 no problem got my Ram tinted 6/2/17 passenger window had bubbles was told wait 3 weeks they should go away that didn't happen went back today 7/7/17 for them to redo my window which they did it took 3 hrs for one window & still isn't right there is a finger print on the window which can be seen in the tint and it looks like two pieces of hair is in it also I didn't even bother to say anything the quality of service & customer service has went down on those 3 yrs won't come back for my system if this is what I can expect from them very disappointed read more

I have been to Daddy O's a few times and for a few different vehicles - primarily for tint - but because their service satisfied my needs and prices were reasonable - I decided to give their audio side of the business a try. A few weeks ago - I called Orange Park Daddy O's for a quote to install my (customer provided) Pyle PLDNANDVR695. Before even getting to cost/timing/etc - I explained to the gentleman I spoke with in detail about the head unit model and the fact that it was all inclusive - GPS, Backup Camera, Dashcam, etc - as well as the vehicle it would be going in - year/make/model. All of this to be met with a no problem! I then proceeded to inquire about install cost/install time/etc. I was quoted $79,99 + any parts needed for the install (Dash kit, harness, etc.) and that the job shouldn't take but maybe an hour or so. The price and time sounded reasonable to me - so I didn't think twice - I ordered my head unit (in question) the same day from an online retailer and would have Daddy O's install it upon arrival. Today - I called Daddy O's to ensure that I could be seen relatively quickly before making my trip. I arrive - head unit in hand as well as the wiring harness for my vehicle - and the gentleman at the front counter started taking my details, what vehicle was it going in, did I have a dash kit, etc. He also asked what I was quoted for the install (as I mentioned I had called a few weeks back and received a quote.). I advised $79.99 and he finished writing up my invoice for the install plus the dash kit ($20.00). Again a little pricey - but I was already there. The gentleman took my keys and explained that I was the next customer in line. I waited at a neighboring business for approximately 25 minutes before receiving a phone call from the same gentleman who wrote my invoice - advising that they would need to do some custom cuts to my dash to fit the new head unit in - upon which I asked the cost - and he said $40. I was a little concerned as nothing was ever mentioned in my initial call - nor at the time of writing up my invoice. He also asked if I knew there was a backup camera with the unit - upon which I replied - absolutely. I explained that when I called a few weeks back to get the quote that brought me in - it was told to them then in addition to all of the other features/attachments that came with the unit. The box also stated all of the features it had - including the Dashcam/GPS/Backup Camera - so I was a little put off that I was being asked if I knew about the feature from the guy that took my order & wrote the invoice... I was then asked if I wanted them to install it or if I wanted to handle it myself. Again - I was a even more put off - as I brought the car stereo to a car stereo installation business to have it installed but was being asked if I wanted to install the very features I thought was part of the installation. I asked if it could be installed as part of my install - and he said sure - but it will be an additional $70.00. It was at this point - I simply lost all confidence in the business. I advised that I would be heading back to pick my truck up and to not install anything. No apologies - no asking why I did not want to proceed - no attempt at empathy whatsoever - considering again - I had a quote for $79.99 (granted not in writing - but it was simply an install - not a car lease.) - but before they even got into the install - was being told that my new quote was now over $200. I arrived minutes later to pick my vehicle up - and was questioned by the installer - who was less than tactful - had an almost interrogative approach - wanting to know if I told the front desk person about the camera. I tried to explain the circumstances but before I was 5 words into the history (for context) - was cut off by a (I mean today.). Of course not - I talked to a gentleman a few weeks back to get a quote - the guy writing my invoice sounded like the same guy - but that aside - the box has all of the features on it - I didn't realize that I needed to provide them with a line item list of what I needed installed vs. not installed from the parts list inside the head unit box. I got in my vehicle to be met with my old head unit's memory being wiped (not a big deal... but seriously?) All of that to say - what I thought was going to be a painless process with whom I thought to be a reputable service provider has turned out to be a nightmare. Wish I could advise on what kind of work they do - but unfortunately - I didn't get that far into the process. All I can say is - buyer beware/be careful of the bait & switch. read more

For one, know that the hours are 9:00-6:00, not 8:30 like their website says. I waited in the parking lot for 30 minutes for them to open. After I went in I was told that if they installed my sub/amp into my Acura that it would completely cut off my Bluetooth, 90% chance. I don't know if that was out of pure laziness, because I called Rollin' Sounds and they told me it is harder to do on a Honda, yet it won't effect my Bluetooth at all. I would recommend trying out somewhere who's okay with taking the time and effort to do the job on your car, vs. risking it. read more

Ordered a apple play stereo, stereo went out the first day I had it installed. Went back up there several times to get them to fix the radio, we were thinking it was mixed up wires being the radio had to be hardwired. Radio went out several times after going up there SEVERAL TIMES, the radio was still not fixed. After the third time going up there, WHICH MAY I ADD there policy is first come first serve (but when the radio is already payed for ($500) and they have your money and still no working radio MONTHS LATER..THIS POLICY is bullshit. I had to wait in line customer after customer to get my broken radio fixed. They finally said the radio had a factory defect, and would have to order a new one. With corona going on, weeks later still no radio.. went back up there and they finally agreed to put a different radio in since they couldn't get the one I ordered in, but they were still going to have to charge $50 for the price difference. Three months later still no radio and they still have $500 of ours from the beginning. They finally agreed I could drop off my car and leave it overnight so it would be the first one they got to in the morning. Come to find out the first radio had no problem at all and they wired it incorrectly .. but they didn't want to take their time or care to fix the problem. So I could have had my radio this whole time if they wouldn't have been so rude and careless. Long story short... DO NOT GO HERE. The lady at the front needs to work on her customer service, RESPECT OF PEOPLES TIME & MONEY!!!! They also need to think about rewriting there policy so that future PAYING customers don't run into this issue of having no working product and cant get a refund to go somewhere else, or at least not have to wait countless hours when I should be at work... if I had a choice I would have not waited for this ISSUE to be solved. Above all I wasted way, way too much time, when in reality, I paid, I already waited in line, and had a worthless radio in my car for three month GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!!!! Terrible. Idiots installed a radio in my jeep completely incorrect. Kept draining the battery and killing my car. Took it to the dealership to see what the problem was and they let me know the radio had been installed incorrectly. When we brought it back for them to fix they refused to even acknowledge that it was their fault despite the dealership proving that it had to be the problem. Crap people doing crap work.
