    Birthday Cake Soft Serve
    Kelly C.

First time here and we will definitely be back! The line went out the door to this place! So many topping options and so many different kinds of soft serve and hard serve. The choices were endless! We got soft serve birthday cake with a chocolate covered waffle cone. The birthday cake was very unique almost vanilla with birthday cake extract and the sweetness level was perfect, not too sweet. With every bite you got sprinkles and their sprinkles were pretty tasty! They didn't taste like plastic which you get sometimes from adding sprinkles at some ice cream places. Delish! Black raspberry with jimmies oh my goodness! Their Jimmies (chocolate sprinkles) were the real deal! No plastic taste here! The black raspberry was more sweet than tart, but chocolate added to it? So yum! We inhaled our ice creams outside on these cute little park benches. Such a cute spot for couples and families!

Solid spot for ice cream. Have a ton of soft serve flavors and a good mix of homemade flavors. Customer service is always friendly.

Always a great stop with my bike group. We typically go there for dessert after leaving. Lewis is across the street. But I took my honey out for an ice cream treat that take as he drove me around to appointments, and I just wanted to give him something special he really loves a variety of ice cream that they sell that even though they're not all there's some dude come from other vendors, such as a Bliss or Crescent Ridge or Robinsons, etc.. But I just asked beforehand because if I had wanted something like this on Crescent Ridge, I would just go directly to the source I'd rather have something that I can't get to like Richardson's from Maine or some other place from New York. But we did have a good time and all the girls are wonderful that work there they're really understanding and supportive. They explain every single ice cream that they have. They explain what comes in stuff was not in stuff and I appreciate that and the flavor variety changes all the time which is nice because you don't wanna get the same stuff all the time. If you don't eat downtown Norwood, you can still stop by there and get ice cream and sit outside on the patio tables that are at the common just a really good relaxing environment for both yourself and the children. They have many locations including stoughton, as well as Braintree and others. I only have gone to those three.

Tried this place when I was in the neighborhood for dinner. It was very busy on a Saturday night. Decor inside is cute. I was overwhelmed by the number of flavors! Ended up getting extreme chocolate and cake batter. It was decent, but nothing special. I liked the chocolate much more than the cake batter, which was way too sweet. I was also surprised to see that the ice cream cartons looked like they were from a wholesaler, as the decorations on the walls refer to the ice cream being homemade? Pretty misleading. Anyway, come here for an ice cream fix (because ice cream can never be bad) but you can get the same thing from a grocery store.

Thank you to daddy's diary for making my fiancé's delicious birthday cake. I called the Norwood location to make my order and the employee was very helpful. Overall order and pickup was very smooth. I got two flavors(black raspberry and strawberry cheesecake) for a medium sized cake with a cookie crumble center. I thought the pricing was very fair. I really enjoyed the black raspberry and would recommend that flavor again. Eat the strawberry cheesecake flavor first else the black raspberry over powers it.

Daddy's dairy is hands down one of the best ice cream places in Norwood, situated right in the heart of downtown Norwood. This has become one of our favorite local spots to grab ice cream be it during the day or late at night. The ice cream selection and choices with all the toppings will amuse you. They have all sorts of flavors and ice creams you can think of, from frozen yogurt to non dairy, no sugar to vegan, soft serves and of course your traditional hard ice cream. The base is your typical cup, cone/ waffle cone. The store is huge, clean and well organized. I've had black raspberry Oreo, chocolate chip, raspberry chocolate truffle and a few more. All of their flavors are delicious. It's great to see all the necessary COVID precautions are in check at this location. Social distancing, face masks and cleanliness were spot on. There's an outdoor seating area opened up though this might be temporary. If you're in Norwood downtown, do try this place. You won't regret it!

double scoop of raspberry chocolate truffle and strawberry shortcake crunch

There were so many flavors to choose from! I got a double scoop of raspberry chocolate truffle and strawberry shortcake crunch, which was about $4.10. I was satisfied. The staff was very patient, giving us samples to try, as my friends and I took just about 15-20 minutes deciding between the many flavors. There was street parking outside and the store was relatively quiet. I'm happy with my overall experience

Great ice cream, huge selection, very reasonable prices. The Braintree one is difficult to exit. I prefer the Norwood site

There was just a short line when we got there, which gave us time to review their many flavors options. There was just line move quick and before we knew it we were at the front and the pressure was on. As a big fan of Oreos/cookies and creams I was intrigued by the multiple flavors of cookies and cream that started with a different base than the typical vanilla ice cream. I went with the salted caramel cookies and creams, and was glad I did. Absolutely delicious! There is some inside seating but not much. It seems most take theirs to roam and shop at other stores. Overall, it was a tasty visit, with some unique flavors, friendly staff even in the hectic atmosphere. Pricing was a bit, I'm sure due to their rent, but with 5 other cookies and cream variations, I'll definitely be stopping in next time I'm in the area again!

"When I was a young man, no bigger than this A chocolate egg…read morecream was not to be missed Some U Bet's Chocolate Syrup, seltzer water and milk You stir it up into a heady 'fro, tasted just like silk" (Lou Reed) There are seventeen J. P. Licks scattered around Metro Boston, so if you live out here the odds are excellent you've been to one and know what they sell. But if you live outside of Boston (like I do) the odds are pretty good you're not familiar with them, as I was not. So, here's a word of advice, if you have plans on visiting one for the first time, you really ought to do yourself a favor and scrutinize their menu before you visit. Otherwise, you'll be gawking at their incredible menu board for half an hour. You'll have to whittle down your selection between hard and soft ice creams, hard and soft yogurts, frappes, smoothies, sundaes, splits, ice cream cakes and pies and sandwiches and cupcakes, a coffee bar and a bakery with scones, coffee cake, muffins, cookies, pop tarts, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, bagels, croissants, and more. Everything is listed on a long menu board that spans the full-size ordering counter, so it's not very easy to see everything unless you strut the length of the counter, so that's why I suggest a little reconnaissance. Our grand kiddies wanted hot chocolates, so we got them a small ($3.75) and a medium ($4.25). They drank them up, but I did mooch one sip and loved it - deep chocolate flavor and not overpoweringly sweet. My wife and I returned to our Bronx roots and shared a chocolate egg cream ($5.90) and it was as good as I remember getting at our soda shop under the elevated D Train subway tracks on Jerome Avenue. Just a perfect blend of carbonated chocolate milk. Quite a wonderful flashback.
