When I asked the waitress if the drinks were fountain, she said yes and I said OK. I believe something's off and she said oh yeah we know it's flat. So I said OK. When it's nice outside they have several picnic tables to sit at and eat. The pulled pork sandwich with Cole slaw is my favorite. They give a nice portion of meat on the sandwich. They have a good bbq sauce that goes well on it. The minced beef was not my cup of tea so I wouldn't order it again. The ribs are just ok. They use St. Louis style and precut them by the bone for you. It's a toss up when you get fall off the bone or rip off with your teeth. Most often it's tough and have to tear into it. They had baby back one time and I really enjoyed that. I think that should be the staple instead. I tried the catfish one time and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Definitely want to try it as a sandwich at some point. The fries are not cheap but the large is a lot of fries. I think their baked beans are the best in the area. The Mac and cheese is okay and did not care for the collard greens. Overall not a bad place and definitely better than most in the area. Still only go for a treat but I do come back.
