Salmon + 2 yum yum sauce

Finally something good to eat in this area!!!! Theres barely any food places out here and we finally found one that has Salmon. Their prices are also very decent! $11.99 for salmon, $14.99 for combo steak&shrimp. Alls you have to do is pull up, order at the drive through and it's done within a couple minutes. Have to return next time to try their soft serve icecream.

YUM! Tastes just like an eat in hibachi place where they cook infront of you but it is drive through! They cook to order so it takes awhile. My only complaint is the massive amounts of onions that were in my veggies. Love this place and if you haven't eaten here you should!!

    Steak entree and California roll

Super yummy in a reasonable amount of time. It's like getting the Japanese steakhouse food without the show and the price of the show! Takes a little longer then fast food but tastes way way way better! Rice and veggies in the entree are cooked well and the steak wasn't dry or chewy! And the fried Oreos tasted just like they do at the fair.

Awesome spot to grab a bite in town. This was by far the best spot for food. I think it's made to order. The order takes about 10 mins but it's worth it. It was parked on the southern tip near the beach bar in September.

Chicken Hibachi with Eggrolls and Gyoza

Super delicious! Rivals some of the food trucks I eat at in DC, Do have ato wait a bit for it, they cook up and fry everything fresh for your order. There's some park tables near by for waiting/eating. The Chicken Habachi was very good! Fresh with some veggies and excellent friend rice. This is my first time eating Gyoza so I don't have much to compare it too but it tasted great. Though if you get anything definitely get the Eggrolls! Some of the best I've ever had, really good crispy breading, stuffed well and with identifiable food rather than the fine mince's that I've come to expect from most eggrolls.

The sushi selection was stellar for a buffet. Fresh sashimi and plenty of rolls to choose from, all tasting fresh and well made. The space itself is great and the service was solid and attentive. I set my expectations a little lower before trying Oishi as I was not sure how good an all-you-can…read moreeat sushi restaurant would be. I am happy to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. While the sushi rolls are a bit heavy on the rice, the quality and variety of rolls was very good. Along with a full menu which includes appetizers, soups, ramen and hibachi entrees there is quite a good amount of choices. If a group includes someone who isn't a fan of sushi, there are options for them. My wife and I both ordered a miso soup to start along with beverages and I also ordered a shrimp shu mai appetizer. We then stuck with the sushi which was available at the buffet. Since they state up front that they will charge for "wasted" food, the best recommendation is not to load up your plate but get a smaller number of things at a time and make multiple visits to the buffet. The variety of creative rolls impressed me as well as the quality. I was also impressed with how clean the restaurant was. While I did gaze briefly at the desserts, I didn't try any as I was full from trying the many of the sushi rolls available.

While visiting Alexandria, we decided to grab dinner at a Japanese steakhouse. After a quick Google…read moresearch, we landed on Sake Japanese Steakhouse. Now I'll be honest--when we first pulled up, it looked a little sketch. But the reviews were solid (4+ stars), so we said why not--and went for it. I had a party of 11, and we were seated within minutes, which was a huge plus! The place wasn't too crowded, a bit on the smaller side, and didn't have all the usual flair and flames you might expect from a Japanese steakhouse--but hey, we were already in, so let's go! The staff was friendly overall. Our waiter Genard really tried to keep up with our large group. He missed a few things here and there, but nothing major--overall, he did a decent job. Let's get into the food... The salad came out nice and cold, but that ginger dressing? Whew... not for me. It tasted really heavy on the mayo and overpowered the ginger flavor. I sent it back and got the ginger dipping sauce instead--and that actually worked much better! The soup was hot and fresh like it should be. It had mushrooms (not my thing), so I just pushed those to the side. Now the main event--the food was GOOD! I actually loved that they added vegetables like peas and carrots into the rice--nice little touch you don't always see. The shrimp was tender, the chicken was delicious, and I really appreciated how finely chopped it was instead of big chunks--it made it more tender and soaked up that teriyaki flavor perfectly. The vegetables were cooked just how I like them--crisp broccoli, carrots, onions... flavorful and not overcooked at all. And let's not forget the plum wine--nice, cold, sweet, and exactly what I needed after a long day running around with kids for spring break. It definitely hit the spot! And the BEST part? The pricing! Very reasonable--especially compared to Japanese Hibachi in other cities! $30 for a combo is ALWAYS a win! Overall, we had a really good time. Most of the group enjoyed their food--maybe one or two minor complaints, but nothing major. I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5. If you're in Alexandria, it's worth checking out!

The customer service of the staff outside of the cooks could be A LOT BETTER! We were originally sat at one table and was seated and ready when all of a sudden we got switched to another table which took longer for orders. Their food was very subpar compared to other Japanese Steakhouses and needs more seasoning. However it is your typical Japanese steakhouse experience! I would return for a drink and food at happy hour but would prefer another steakhouse unless I am just on the area or attending a friend/family event.

Shrimp were like rubber could not even chew them up they seem to be store-bought really they're so bad right now even I look at them and they're terrible. The l Yokohama ramen was covered in terms of pork which was the main thing in the ramen the noodles were cold hard to eat and no flavor no soups in it one piece of seaweed about the size of a silver dollar. Overall I am completely disappointed and every part of the meal I do have one good compliment which is I left my wallet on the counter and return to find it in the same place which was good I just wish it would have been placed to the side so nobody could walk up and kick it. It was my fault for doing that but I really appreciate the person. I just returned my so-called Japanese food from last night because I have health condition I could not make it back out but it was so bad I had to take it back. The owner starts yelling at me so does the lady saying I fresh cooked all this there's no way in hell that was tempura shrimp and fresh cooked it was store-bought and I know what store-bought shrimp looks like and I'm going to bring him back a sample of it but neither one of them are from Japan at River bend in Japan and it doesn't even taste Japanese and most of the reviews I read thinking it's a Chinese place Chinese food doesn't take like this Japanese food doesn't take like this. The man continued to argue with me about how good it was in San he cooked it fresh he did not cook it there was only the woman in there and she was trying to say she didn't cook it and I walked back there to see it and she was cooking. Very disappointed he gave me half my money back which is not good business he has no understanding of Japanese culture at all people don't treat people like that in Japan I don't treat like people like that because I always felt like I was Japanese. Very disappointing

I was here for lunch around noon and the sushi looked ok, but not particularly fresh. (I'm not saying it wasn't fresh, just that it looked like it had been sitting around). It tasted fine. There is a broccoli with chicken and broccoli with beef stir fry. The broccoli in each were outstanding. Fresh, crisp and delicious. Two baked fish entrees (salmon and a white fish) - both were very good. Nothing fancy - just tasty fish. There's a fried fish (tilapia or some type of white fish) that was very good. The breading was tasty and not too thick. There's a cocktail sauce on the salad bar that is good and goes well with this dish. The hot and sour soup was tasty. Broth was a little thick, likely from corn starch. Less corn starch and the soup would be great (although some people like a thick broth). I didn't do the hibachi. There's also a chocolate fountain that I didn't use. There's a nice variety of fresh fruit. And I was impressed by the juiciness of the oranges and the melon. Extensive salad bar and good selection of items for dessert. Overall, a good buffet at a good price point for lunch and, I think, also for dinner.
