Annie Grossarth (manager) and Aubrey Harding (owner) have no idea what they're doing and they keep…read morelying. Annie Grossarth, Aubrey Harding and Elliot Taxman (doctor) have a questionable value system and moral compass for providing "high quality care" as a profession. People get away with things because they rely on others being quiet about it and I won't be silenced. Here are some more details I initially left out of the below review because Taxman seemed confused. While I was having a panic attack he held up his wedding ring hand in front of him and waved his hand around showcasing his ring-- I'm not sure why he thought that was appropriate? What does his relationship status have to do with my appointment? Is this standard for all his appointments? He seemed confused, I told him while in the middle of a panic attack I'm not here to date you??? I'll continue to repost this until the end of time, no patient should have to deal with this and then pay $800/hour My appointment with Dr.Taxman was incredibly disappointing. I had a panic attack at the beginning of the appointment, when I recovered I looked up and his head was tilted down and eyes looking up glaring at me... he looked angry? We just sat there and stared at eachother for maybe 60 seconds until I broke off the stare off. It was scary, bizarre, and cruel. Nothing warrants that response from a doctor. I asked about my issues, I have year round allergies I asked about and he shrugged and mentioned one drug, that was it. We went over two prescriptions I have, he said wow that's a high dosage when referring to my antidepressant, he did not elaborate. There was a knot on my throat he said he would be willing to see through till the end-- I'm OK, I'll go to another doctor. It's clear he didn't want me in the appointment and he had an attitude the majority of the time. He rolled his eyes twice while I was talking. I read glowing reviews from other patients who he's helped with similar issues before booking. There were STILL several other issues but I'll leave it at that. I overestimated his abilities as a professional and as a doctor. Taxman has weak character and questionable moral compass if this is how he treats people/patients. Imagine asking a doctor for help and the above happens. Then having to repost this review 83 separate times, Well Life & Taxman are trying to hide what happened. The next step is going to the Oregon Board of Natropathic Medicine. I thought Taxman was a good doctor but he was horrible, self flattering, snide, and indifferent in helping me. I'm still flabbergasted because I thought I was choosing a good doctor who could guide me to other good doctors and give me advice. He could have rescheduled me with someone else if he knew he wasn't going to help me. Edit: Since I said I was going to report my experience with Taxman to the Oregon Board of Natropathic Medicine because Dr Harding and Annie Grossarth weren't doing anything to help me they cancelled my medication appointment with a different doctor. Well Life denied me access to healthcare and creared issues accessing my medication because I reported Taxman to Oregon Board of Natropathic Medicine. Annie kept trying to get me to talk to her on the phone instead of email, she lied about there being a glitch in Athena and needing to cancel my appointment. She lied about a required transfer of care phone call, she put a hold on my account until I talked to her over the phone. She was extorting me for more information via TELEPHONE ONLY which is undocumented until I received healthcare. This place is so gross, Taxman is gross Annie and Aubrey is gross, the facilities are also musty and gross. The paper liner on the patient seating was dirty with spots on it when I went in for my labs and also when I went in for my appointment in a different room on a different day. How many other patients have had similar issues here and they couldn't defend themselves. Try giving patients kindness and dignity, get some ethics training as an organization. Anyways, this place is a JOKE

Just walked in, no call ahead, and they had me in an examination room within 30 minutes with an able and courteous nurse. One D.O. was on duty and had to bounce around between patients, putting out brush fires--I get that. Dr. Brown has a jokey bedside manner, which I dislike intensely, but I was civil. He seemed capable when he focussed. Dr. Vallejo (sp?--he seemed of oriental extraction) examined me the next day for possible neurological damage and had an efficient and dignified bedside manner. When you don't laugh at Dr. Brown's silly jokes, he seems to acquire an animus. He had his nurse remove the stitches and said over his shoulder that if any were left in place, "they'd just fall out." In fact, I did have to remove some missed stitches when I got home. I have been told by other professionals that forgotten stitches, once wetted, can become deep infection courts. Cost was only a little over $265 for three visits, which I consider good value. However when I checked out for good, I told the receptionist that I would settle all charges right then. She told me I was paid up with them--but I got a $65 bill in the mail some days later. Probably just a failure to explain their SOP, but leaves a bad taste.

Dr. Daniels was visibly and verbally expressive in his disdain for Naturopathic Medicine and quickly shut the conversation down by stating he would let her deal with that and he with deal with my hypertension. He spoke of his 25 years in medicine and stopped short of calling NP's quacks. I thanked him for his candor and left it alone. Unfortunately, I do not believe it is in my best interest to work with a doctor who is incapable of putting his personal bias aside for my best interest. It's not enough to have a medical degree and 25 years experience if you can't recognize the client should be first before your feelings. It is after all a NP who 'discovered' my thyroid disorder, not the family practice doc, or the internist, nor the gynecologist...all focused on medicating symptoms rather than finding a solution. Disappointing.
