I was nervous and self conscious to be at the end of a lens. Jenn made us feel comfortable from prepping for the session to the delivery of our photos, even advice on what to wear. I've never encountered a photographer as thorough as Jenn. She does an exceptional job with her communications, explanations, and timeliness. Not to mention the photos are beautiful. Aside from her professionalism throughout the entire process, she also helped us relax, laugh, and be ourselves during the photo shoot. And that's exactly what came through in our pictures, our genuine selves. It turns out I had nothing to worry about in Jenn's hands; she did a great job.

In fact, she ended up being the first vendor we booked, even before we had our venue picked. We knew wherever we ended up, we could trust Liz to capture it perfectly. And she did! Liz gave us pictures that took my breath away and everyone who has seen them has remarked on what an amazing job she did. She and her assistant were able to capture every single emotion and moment we went through that day and presented them beautifully. She is also not a photographer who relies on the current photographic fads (you know, the instagram-y looks) to make her work interesting. Instead, her photographs are classically beautiful and have a more editorial, natural feel. Even the posed formal pictures look natural. They are definitely images that will stand the test of time. Not only is her work amazing, Liz is too. She is professional, patient, interesting, funny, and soooo easy to work with. Even my husband, who hates to have his picture taken, enjoyed being around her so much that eventually he was able to relax and have fun. Ok, the bottom line of this ramble-y review is you want Liz Lui as your wedding day photographer. She is someone who is genuinely excited and happy for the couples she works with and will work her butt off making sure you are just as happy with the photographs as she is.

We were a little weary of booking a photographer that didn't come from a personal recommendation, but as soon as we met her we knew she'd be perfect. We booked the very next day -- before we had a venue or anything else picked. We had ~400 people at our wedding and Liz did an absolutely phenomenal job capturing every little detail and put as at ease. She had scoped out the hotel and surrounding area in advance so she knew exactly where to capture photos and worked with us on our timeline to make sure we could get everything we wanted. We received all of our photos within a few weeks of our wedding and every. single. one. of them was stunning. We couldn't be any happier. Definitely one of the best wedding decisions we made. If you have the opportunity to work with Liz, TAKE IT.

My husband and I worked with Paola and her team to provide photography and videography for our wedding during August 2017. Paola was kind & flexible from the start, meeting us at a coffee shop in our neighborhood for an initial consultation. Upon meeting, we instantly felt at ease. She took time to learn about us as a couple and to our delight, worked with us to customize a package of photographers and videographers to fit our needs and budget. After seeing Paola's work, we were thrilled to learn that she would be our primary photographer for our wedding. We found this to be a fabulous perk of working with a smaller boutique studio. Paola and her team did an excellent job on the day of our wedding. They were all friendly and made our wedding party feel very comfortable. They did an amazing job capturing the important moments without being noticeable or "in the way." Paola has a way about her that could put the most anxious bride at ease! She was always one step ahead with her quick thinking, suggesting creative and fun poses, as well as beautiful locations for our "first look" and group shots before the wedding. Several members of our wedding party, friends, and family mentioned how much they liked Paola and the energy that she brought to our event. We were also impressed to see her positive & creative energy last all day and night! Last but certainly not least, Paola and her team take beautiful photos and create lovely videos. They do an excellent job of using light and focus to highlight important details within different shots. They also pieced together our highlight video in a meaningful way that told a story about our relationship and brought together different elements of our special day. It was evident that Paola understood who we were as a couple and captured our day perfectly. As we watched our highlight video it almost felt as if she had read my mind! Every beautiful detail of our story can be told, remembered, and cherished for the rest of our lives. We have Paola and her team to thank for that.
