But I have been dying to get a massage. With some research online I was able to find Spa-Mobile. Basically they bring the spa to your home. You simply go on there website, pick the therapist you like to have and pick a time. The price is not much more that a massage you would get at a spa. They also provide insurance receipts. Now let me tell you about my experience. After I booked online, I received an email explaining all the safety precautions they take and how the procedure the day of the massage will look like. Then once they are on their way to your house they sent you a text message with a link that allows you to track where they are exactly. Once they get to your place, they set-up where you tell them to. The massage table is very professional. They set it up, put a heat blanket then put the sheets on top. Once every thing is set up, they sit with you and go through a questionnaire about your health and which areas you want the massage to be concentrated on. Then she goes to the bathroom to wash her hands while you lay on the table. My therapist was Claudia, and she went over and beyond. She brought white sage to clarify the room, she also asked me what type of music I like, which she then played on the IPad she had. Last but not least, she brought fresh cucumbers which she placed on my eyes. Once it was over she again went to wash her hands while i put ob my robe. (Benefits of being at home). She gave me her card and asked for me to pay via e-transfer. Later that nice, she sent me the receipt and the insurance paper. I will never go to a spa for a massage as this was the best massage experience I have ever had. Keep in mind before the pandemic i use to have 5-6 massages per year. Facial: I booked the "Fountain of Youth" facial. It is the most expensive at $169 and was supposed to last 90 minutes. It was much shorter. The owner of the spa did my facial and kept leaving the room for long stretches to attend to other business. The facial itself was nothing special - and not worth the price, especially when she talked non-stop throughout trying to sell me on their line of skin care products so I couldn't even relax. Afterwards, she ambushed me in the lobby with her daughter and did an elaborate & lengthy presentation where they measured the antioxidant level in my skin (or something like that) to again try to sell me products like a couple of used car salesmen. I listened to be polite, but was really NOT impressed with how pushy they were. Pedicure: I booked the $75 "Foot Treatment" pedicure. This time it was the owner's daughter who did the treatment and again she was called away at least six times (I counted) to help her mother at reception since her mother does not speak French. The pedicure was supposed to take 60 minutes, but because of the constant interruptions it took much longer and I finally had to leave without her even finishing because I had another appointment to get to. The owner and her daughters are very nice, but I found them to be very unprofessional and extremely pushy on selling their skin care products - more so than other spas I've been to.
