Da ginger one poke was by far my favorite!! Can tell the fish is super fresh since it has that melt in your mouth texture that every local craves. We were there around noon and it is amazing to see that most of their fish were gone, I knew that was a sign that this spot was gonna be good! The fish express offers ready to go foods, hot food, and also fresh fish like a fish market! My husband and I always just get the poke and this time we tried ahi shoyu poke, ahi maui onion poke, ahi spicy poke with crab, and sliced tako. They don't have a seating place everyone either ate it outside the store or in their car. The poke... cuts like butter! When it cuts like you know you picked a good spot! There's something about getting the first bite at the start of your vacation that kick starts the day, time, and the vacation. I usually get the Kalena special plate lunch as it gives me a taste of a variety of menu items. Though their kalbi is tasty the serving that I had was mostly bone/fat. In addition to the entree you get to select 4 sides to compliment your meal. The sides are a mixture of korean and Asian sides that are often eaten locally. Once yiu have your take away you can eat on table bench in the park across the way or take it to the beach. I usually go here yearly when visiting Kauai.
