She was paid to start but after three days of the insurance processing the inspection she started sending letters threatening us. She told us she worked with insurance companies before but refused to wait three days after the work was finished to wait for the inspection. Our Mortgage company dragged their feet and we had even put her on the three way call. This was not enough. We were harassed and verbally attacked. She has post things about us on Fb and other social media platforms. She sends emails that we would love to post to show her unprofessionalism. This woman is scary if the insurance company is handling your funds. She then advised that she would be cancelling our warranty that we paid for. The Mortgage Company sent the check today sent straight to her company. She is desperate for money and will humiliate you if you are working with insurance company and they don't move in a timely matter. I am afraid for anyone that works with this woman and her company. Furthermore, they punched a hole in my home during construction and refused to fix the inside of the property. The outside was damaged, and we sent proof of that. I'm unsure if this made her mad that she damaged our home and refused to fix it. She added 750.00 to the balance so we would end up paying the extra. Please consider another company. All her funds have been sent and she is still mad. Beware I have attached the pics of the damage inside that she did and refused to repair. Again, her funds have been sent today and we are still at a loss. We have filed an complaint with the labor dept and commission for contractors

As a retired civil engineer with 35 years of federal service, I have performed construction management and other contractor related duties throughout my career, so I'm not new in this arena. In that regard, Danny, the owner of Advantage Asphalt, exceeded all my expectations from the very beginning and beat out several other asphalt contractors costs by over 25%. His attention to my customer needs was truly appreciated and was further highlighted by the professionalism and expertise of his company employees while performing the work. He came out for a site visit the day I reached out to him, created a comprehensive costs estimate, submitted it online the next day, answered all my questions and appeared very knowledgeable about what was needed to do the job. At my request, he came out for a second site visit a few days later to review the work with me so I was sure he had captured everything, especially since all other estimates were several thousand dollars more. During that meeting, I agreed to perform the work and he set a date of Wednesday October 16th. While observing the work, I paid attention to how well his crew coordinated their efforts and was extremely impressed at how professional they were and how quickly that got my entire driveway resurfaced, widened the parking pad, and installed a drain, without any problems or additional costs. Danny himself was on equipment for most of the day as well to ensure the finished work met my needs. Who does that? Two of my neighbors saw the finished work and have asked Danny to do driveway repair work for them as well. Overall, I enjoyed working with him and highly recommend his services to anyone in need of driveway repair work.

We asked RJ III what he thought we needed. He suggested we fix a depression area this year and next year we will talk about the 25 year old driveway and the options for resurfacing or replacing. RJ III said this would let us walk into a relationship and evaluate how the company performed to our satisfaction on one piece of work instead of so much work at one time. In one day the team showed up and removed a large section (the size would be a standard driveway) and brought the grade up with layers of dirt and rock and then put dirt on the high side to make sure the water from the highest part of the property flowed across the driveway and no longer puddled up to continue creating a depression. If you live in Pasadena... you know that sand moves where the water will take it... They added topsoil, seeded and put straw down. They even put a curb on one section. All in one day!

This is our second time working with Richard Hammond Builders and their project manager, Joe. We…read morewere so impressed by the craftsmanship of the deck they built for us last summer we asked them back for a room renovation. We could not be happier with the transformation of the space in our house. Richard and Joe's team knocked down a wall and transformed a previously unusable space to an inviting living space and expansion of our kitchen. Of course with any renovation project we ran into unforeseen issues (hvac needed to be moved, plumbing fixed, and salvaging the wood floors by filling in the areas where the wall had been removed with walnut), however the team always had a creative and cost effective solution. His team also created custom shelving and a mantel from a piece that we had purchased from exotic lumber. We had an overall vision of what we wanted, but trusted Richard Hammond Builders to execute and make adjustments as necessary. The project was completed on time and under budget. Thank you Richard and Joe your team of contractors.
