From the beginning, Clarice was very flexible and easy to work with given my busy schedule. We had a meet and greet before the scheduled boarding as I was going to be on vacation for 2 weeks and she wanted to see my dogs temperament towards people and other dogs. This is important that she won't just accept every single dog but keeps the safety in mind for other people's dogs. What I saw was a perfect place for my 4 dogs to stay and have plenty of room to run around. They have cots outside that are covered for shade and they also have a room with more cots and couches if the dogs prefer indoors. They also have separate areas to separate dogs in case they don't get along. One of my dogs was having some issues while we were gone but it didn't phase her and you could tell that she has a lot of experience taking care of dogs. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with our boarding experience and highly recommend Da Doghouse for anyone needing their dogs to be boarded for short term or long term. Being in the military, having a reliable dog sitter is extremely important. Clarice is extremely flexible with the scheduling and if there are last minute situations where I need a dog sitter ASAP, Clarice always accommodates. I have two dogs Bruno and Zoey and they stayed with Clarice on multiple occasions ranging from a couple days to several weeks. They always have a great time socializing with the other dogs and running around in the open space. The best thing about leaving your dogs with Clarice is that she gains the trust of the dogs and is extremely attentive, while at the same time, keeping me updated on their status. She even gives the dogs baths on occasion and treats them with flea/tick medication. The difference between leaving the dogs at a boarding place vs leaving them with Clarice is that they are not caged and roam freely throughout the secure yard she setup. This place is clean and well kept. The dogs get along with each other and Clarice is really good making sure the right dogs are in together. There's enough shade for them on hot days. I must say my dog hates it when I leave her anywhere but when she sees Clarice she's actually happy and tail wagging. That is beyond rare, since she knows she is getting left when we come here. But this gives me the confidence to know this is the best place for my dog to stay. I just got off the phone with Clarise. I have a vacation planned for January and know that I will need to have my dog cared for for a few days while I'm there. She seems a very warm and caring person that choose to leave lucrative job to pursue her passion of working with pets. We spoke for quite some time. Clarice has a such a great set up for our furry family member. Our dog always seems so happy to play with the other dogs when we drop him off and is happy when we pick him up, even after being away for a while on vacation. Clarice is also experienced in doggie day care and takes such good care of our pet that we are so lucky to have found such an attentive pet sitter. She keeps "da doghouse" so clean, tidy and organized. Clarice cared for my two dogs for a couple of weeks in May. I cannot say enough good things about Clarice's care and dedication for the animals. When one of my dogs became ill while under her care she not only informed me immediately, but she made the decision to seek help for my pet when she felt the situation was not improving with time. My baby girl Lilu loves going to the Da Doghouse! I know that Lilu is well taken care of by Clarice. Lilu loves spending time with her dog buddies and she has a lot of room to run, play and rest.
