A 30 min cab ride from centro storico brings you to a gorgeous cliff-side vista of the entire bay of Napoli. Unfortunately the night we went there were storm clouds and lightning, limiting the vista from the what-should-have-been a beautiful drive.
The restaurant is carved into the stone cliff with a large area outside for al fresco dining, given appropriate weather. Ignoring the ubiquitous photos of famous past diners, we enjoyed the romantic atmosphere and pleasant and helpful service.
Antipasto di casa: Wow! Perfectly fried shrimp with stringed zucchini, baked white fish thinly sliced, octopus carpaccio.
Seafood linguini: al dente linguini with clams, spiny lobster, and shrimp (vongole, astice, gamberi) with a side pile of dried red chili to spice it up. Nice!
A very well priced wine list (bottle of Greco del Tufo was 16 Euro!) and homemade Limon Cello rounded out the offering.
Very Romantic and far superior food than surrounding establishments. read more
