Kevin was one of the first to offer to help, providing his website and even DMing me immediately. I got a flood of comments but chose to give Kevin a call first. This was the best decision I could have made. Kevin was extremely forthcoming, friendly and unbelievable helpful. He took the time to talk with me and even offered to go to my condo asap to look at the damage. He went over the same day and called me immediately with his thoughts and advice. I never felt pressured to work with him or that he was rushing me to make a decision. In fact, it was just the opposite. He told me I could call him anytime and ask him any questions I had even if I don't use him. Spoiler alert, I totally used him. A no brainer! From start to finish, Kevin came through for me. He showed up on time, his crew was respectful of my property, he communicated every step of the way, took photos, and even went above at beyond by being the middle man for me with my adjustor and insurance company. I was super stressed at the beginning of this journey but Kevin took all of that off my hands. Kevin and his crew completed all the needed repairs in the upstairs loft and bathroom areas that were affected and were in and out in 3 days tops. They left the house immaculate, took every precaution, and made this whole process a breeze. I can not recommend Kevin enough and will sing his praises to anyone who will listen. We actually used John twice - both for a pre-inspection for the home we were selling and for the inspection on the house we were purchasing. For the pre inspection he identified every issue we should be aware of and address for the incoming buyers, which helped us get in front of any inspection nightmares that could trip up the closing at the last minute. For the home we were buying, John went through the whole house and pointed out not just things that were negative, but also what looked good which helped reassure me that the house we were buying was the quality home we were hoping for. He pointed out little things that were tremendous help for someone completely clueless about home care - such as the pine tree in our backyard that was dropping needles into our gutters, which I never would have noticed otherwise! Our home inspector, Ray, was integral to us making an informed decision before taking the leap into home ownership. Ray was prompt and easy to get in contact with; he was always accessible via text or email. During the inspection, Ray did a thorough visual inspection and offered tips and useful information regarding what he saw. Our particular home inspection lasted about 2 hours and included a test for radon, mold, and oil sweep. We received our extensive inspection report within 24-48 hours of completing the inspection (radon and mold test results took roughly a week since the samples needed to be sent to the lab). We (and our attorney) were very glad that we were provided with such an in-depth report as we contemplated next steps. Ray is a licensed P.E. and his structural expertise was much appreciated. We paid extra for a mold test and have asked for the results multiple times over 3 months and have never received. I firmly believe he never submitted the test and pocketed the cash. I wouldn't recommend and would never use him again. Zero follow up on his part. *Note before AAA makes any more excuses I have 4 months of back and forth texts trying to get the mold report and him not responding.

Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!
