Despite my concerns, no protective shield was used, and the laser was passed directly over my eyebrows. Nine months later, I am still dealing with the effects and regret having this procedure done. While some hair growth has returned, one eyebrow still has noticeable patchy areas that have not fully recovered. Before this treatment, I never needed to fill in my eyebrows, but now I have to use an eyebrow pencil every day to cover the sparse spots. This experience has been incredibly upsetting and has had a lasting impact on me. My eyebrows were one of my favorite features, and it has been incredibly upsetting not knowing if they will fully recover. I had been wanting to try botox after hearing many good things about it from my coworkers, friends and family. My friend had recommended Youthbar to me as we had been talking about her migraines and our RBFs and how it's helped her. I called in I was met with one of the friendliest receptionists I have ever come across. She was patient with despite my many questions and talkative nature and when she couldn't answer my questions, she booked the free consultation for me where I could ask all the questions I wanted. My consultation was with Meadow. She was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and didn't push me on getting more done than I wanted. She made me feel so comfortable I ended up doing the procedure! It was quick, minimal pain, and I am so happy with the results! My take on all parts of this business is below. Procedures: Frown Lines - I have botox to correct my frown lines around my eyebrows. While the frown lines weren't terrible to begin with, this is a preventative measure to make sure they don't worsen over time. Pain is like a 2/10 for me and there were no scars. The effects started around day three. It was weird not being able to make my "mad" face anymore. Added benefits aside from how it looks are I'm not squinting at my computer screen, my headaches have been reduced to minimal pain or nothing, and I truly believe my mood has improved because of it. I genuinely feel happier since doing this. Lip Flip - My top lip would curl under leaving a line whenever I would smile. It has been something I've been very self conscious of and originally thought I wanted a lip filler to help correct it. Meadow gave me more information about the lip flip and we decided to try that to start out instead of the lip fillers. The pain was a little more than the forehead since there are more nerves in my upper lip but they kindly put numbing gel on before hand to reduce the discomfort. Minimal bleeding but the results ended up being better than I expected. The lip flip has softened my smile preventing my lip from coming up so high it make my lip curl and now it sits beautifully above my teeth and you can see the pink of my top lip! I'm extremely happy with it and it has improved my confidence to smile in my pictures again. Overall Experience was amazing. From the people who work here, the ease of booking appointments, and help people like me feel good about themselves, I am so glad I was recommended this place. Sammi took it from that to a really lovely beige blonde, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. The correction took about 4 hours and ran roughly ~$120/hour, which felt fair given how much work went into fixing it. I waited to post this until it had grown out some, because that's the real test of a good color job, and it's held up seamlessly. No weird line where the old color meets new growth, no brassiness creeping back in. That tells me she really got the formula right, not just a quick fix that looks good for two weeks. Well, I look in the mirror this morning (nine days past treatment) and, BY GOD, the treatment is actually working!!! All of the most visible capillaries are either gone or diminishing.
