Disclaimer: Peter Ceglarz and I have friends in common, but had never met 'til today…read more "Save pennies, lose dollars," ring the words of my mentor, years ago. I had seriously worn tires and was shopping around because just 50,000 miles ago I spent $1,000+ to buy OEM tires (Bridgestone Dueler) for our SUV. Costco kept me waiting a week and a half. When I went there this morning - with an appointment - they explained they were having trouble getting enough tires (they're having a Bridgestone sale). I was fed up. Now, all I knew about Ceglarz's was that they were relatively small, family-owned, and had won "Best Of" in the local paper for years running. I wasn't looking for a bargain - I was looking for tires. I felt self-conscious. The guy's a master mechanic, not "Town Fair Tires." Peter's personality is very calming. I knew I was in the right place. He persuaded me to get tires that're *better* than OEM - at the same price. He laid out the bottom line - $808 - sixty dollars more than Costco. He received the tires in 20 minutes. I drove over when he called. "I eat lunch from 12:00 to 1:00." Me: "Then I'll come over at 1:00." "No, no, bring it over right now." I got there at 11:05. The car was ready when I came back from a walk to the store - at 11:50! I asked about an oil change. $60 plus tax for top-quality synthetic, made for the car. He'd already written down the mileage on the car, *and* he checked the dealer's windshield sticker and knew I had 1,000 miles to go before I'd need one. I'm thrilled that I've found a mechanic I can trust.

After a few other places gave me a wrong diagnosis on Bmw I went there and they repaired right and…read moreway less, If you have a vehicle that needs repairs bring it to Ceglarz, they'll get it right and your not paying 200 dollars a hr like at all these shops, go there and you'll save money and you won't feel like you've been robbed. "I love the sound of breaking glass Especially when I'm…read morelonely I need the noises of destruction When there's nothing new" (Nick Lowe) We never heard or saw the glass break. But one fine day out of the blue we noticed a crack in the windshield of our 2015 Subaru. It looked like an impact from a pebble that spread diagonally upward about a foot long. We called our insurance company on May 1, confirmed our glass coverage, and were offered the option to choose our own repair vendor or go through them and their relationship with Safelite. We chose the latter and were scheduled for the windshield replacement on May 7. After that, communication was never a problem with Safelite. They contacted us through seven e-mails and twelve texts with (imbedded document links) over the next ten days. The communications covered appointment confirmations, confirmation requests, reminders, one appointment change, completion notification, bill review, and a certificate of re-calibration for the windshield related electronics, cameras, etc. We dropped the car off on May 11 and were given the option to hang out in their K-Cup equipped waiting room or come back later. The estimated time period for the work was 2-3 hours. We decided to leave the car and went to lunch at Parkville Market. About an hour later, they texted us and said the work was completed. Our technician, Benjamin, was professional, helpful, and friendly. Safelite took good care of us.

Horrible experience. My first appointment was canceled despite getting a confirmation text message…read more They stated it was a system generated confirmation and that they tried to call me. I did miss their call but they only tried me once the day before but never notified me my apt was canceled until I arrived for my windshield replacement. They said I didn't book enough time and that because I was paying in person I needed to confirm by speaking to someone6. Fine. I tried to schedule again for later that same day and was able to do online. When I went to call THEM to confirm before going back I got an AI agent and then a national agent who had to then call the local site to confirm. Well guess what? They said they couldn't honor the new appointment time because they were short staffed for the weekend. Ugh. I rescheduled 2 weeks later. Appointment was at 9 am and was told it would be 3 hours. My car took 6+ hours and no body contacted me once the 3 hour window was over. I had to once again call the AI agent to request an update on my car. So instead of noon like I was promised my car still wasnt ready at 3. When I arrived at 3:15 my car still wasnt ready and they said it would be ANOTHEr 20 minutes. Awful customer service. Very frustrating company and I dont recommend this location.at ALL.

Safelite turned what I thought was going to be a disastrous experience into one of the easiest experiences of my life. A huge rock got kicked up on the highway and made a huge crack in my windshield. On Monday morning I filed an insurance claim and scheduled an appointment with Safelite right online. Within a few minutes I had a confirmation email from Safelite, and was able to pretty much immediately bring my car into their facility. The receptionist already had all my information when I got there (didn't need to fill out anything) and the technician (who had a huge smile on his face) brought my car in as soon as I got there. Within an hour I had a brand new windshield along with a vacuumed-out car. They were even able to salvage the stickers from my old windshield. Couldn't have gone smoother. As an added bonus, the waiting room at Safelite had free K-Cup coffee, soda, water, cookies, and chips! They might be a big chain, but Safelite treats you like you are the only customer on Earth.
