We were so pleased, we rented a second unit in October. Every time we go by the office, they are friendly and welcoming. I compared prices online and felt theirs were competitive, plus the facility was nearby the area where we anticipated buying a home. When we had trouble with one of the locks (turned out to be operator error LOL) they quickly and graciously replaced the lock. To top it all off, we won the recent gift basket and have been enjoying our goodies and gift certificate.

Marissa is who I have primarily been in contact with and she ALWAYS goes above and beyond to help me in any way possible!! I just lost my husband and as you can imagine, my brain wasn't functioning on all cylinders but Marissa stepped in to save the day to help me figure out how to open my gas tank cover!! Now that is what I call superior service!! I now have 3 storage units there and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else! My belongings are safe and the facility is clean and well groomed during the snowy days, and for me, Marissa is the very best at her position and treats us customers like we are royalty! Thank you Veradale Self Storage for having the full package of not only taking good care of our belongings but also us as individuals!!

Some of the other places were dingy and didn't feel safe for me or my stuff. At DPSS I felt welcome and at ease immediately and they had the perfect size unit at a great price (especially compared to western Washington!). The property is gated so everyone must have a code and there are lots of security cameras around; I never worried about my belongings or being there alone. In the winter, they plow daily so it was always easy to access my unit. They offer different sized units and RV parking. The office is staffed regular business hours with a very nice lady and they have a restroom available.

I recommend spending your money elsewhere

I travel to the area for work in the summers and trusted them to keep my car safe until I returned. They called one day and said someone broke one of my windows and rifled through my belongings inside. I was upset but trusted them to increase security and prevent it from happening again but that was not the case. A couple months later another window was broken, my bicycle that was inside was stolen, and an item was left inside that was likely stolen from another customers vehicle. I don't like to write bad reviews but feel I should warn people about trusting them with their vehicles!

I assumed that this was a professional company but when they arrived they had no equipment or tools to help them with the heavy load. Only two guys showed up and they said that they didn't know this was a commercial stove... They said they would call back and possibly bring another person to complete the job. I had to call them again as I didn't hear from them, brand new appliances ($8k) waiting in the elements to be moved. He then proceeded to say, "if you can get someone else to do the job that might be best". I don't recommend this company.

There are few things that are worse. I had a giant china cabinet/buffet shipped from the Bay Area. It weighs 362 pounds and is more than seven feet wide. It is solid wood. It is cumbersome and heavy and slightly fragile. This piece of furniture will be around for another century after the rest of us are gone. When it arrived, three days early, at the freight company, I had zero time to arrange for someone to move it. It takes at least three strong, able-bodied victims - uh, people to move this thing. I can't ask anyone I know and want to speak to again to help out. I have to hire people. Cary was the ONLY mover I called who was ready to go in less than 24 hours. Everyone else wanted me to wait a week for a "tentative" appointment, while I paid storage fees at the freight company. He quoted me a fair price - I pay what people are worth, and it was still less than what it cost me to move this piece the first time, and tiny SF apartments with long, narrow stairways were involved in the 1990s. Cary even laughed at my jokes. He and his guys were on-time, careful, and considerate. They moved the giant cabinet into a narrow hall and doorway and even told me what a gorgeous piece it is. I probably should have bought a round, but it was 10:30am and they probably still had to work.

They had the best attitude and were friendly and outgoing, along with being professional. Young people with this work ethic are few and far between these days. And on a funny note, they resembled my sons. In my experience, more often than not, movers and delivery people I've hired were unkempt, dirty and crabby and in the past I've hired piano movers who were much more expensive and unnecessary. (Maybe different for a grand piano but mine is upright) Unfortunately I didn't get the crew's names but they deserved a far bigger tip than I gave! I didn't get a quote from any others and even if they were higher than the going rate I'd hire them anyway. Support local. Support women's owned business!!
