He followed "all the rules", that is normally expected - wearing shoe covers in the house, knocking before entering etc. but he went above and beyond when going outside to make sure the gates stayed closed at all times. I can't tell you how many people are lazy and leave the gates open due to convenience, but without asking, he knew to keep them closed.
