Inside was cool, quiet and beautifully designed. A nice change from some other salons I have been to. I had a recent vacation coming up and opted to get my nails done by getting a gel manicure. The nail tech I had was very kind and helpful when doing my nails for the specific design I wanted. My nails were done with care and were done within the hour. So even if the business got great reviews, I may not have gotten the same technician who gave the excellent service that earned the reviews It is impossible for that situation to happen at Rosie's Toesies since Rosie's Toesies is a one woman show. When you go to Rosie's you are always guaranteed to get Rosie's excellent service every time. I am very particular about my pedicures and Rosie does a fantastic job. I always get the Spa Pedicure ($35), which has extra scrub with massage to start. What I love about Rosie's pedicures are her attention to detail when grooming the cuticles. For a small place, she also has a large array of current nail polish colors. Most importantly, the polish lasts for weeks. Rosie does have a large clientele so it is imperative to book in advance. That is the only downside to frequenting a place with one technician. I guess that quality is worth it though. Rosie is lovely. She cares about her customers and does her best to accommodate them. I find it very easy to text with Rosie regarding appointments. I just get pedis, but of course Rosie does manicures, including gels as well as nail art. How was I supposed to know the difference? When I questioned the service, Annie told me I was wrong because I hadn't explained what I wanted correctly--even though she wasn't at the front desk during the conversation. She then told me I should have come to her directly. That's not something you say to a customer, especially when I didn't even know who my nail technician would be. I also didn't appreciate her attitude. Within a week, my thumbnail chipped and broke off, and black marks started appearing under some of the white tips. I returned to have the issues fixed and asked to speak with a manager, but it felt like talking to a wall. Annie repaired the two damaged nails but then told me that hard gel "wasn't for me." My response was that the problem wasn't the service--it was the application. Shortly afterward, more nails started popping off. I ended up going to another nail salon, where I paid $5 to have the one nail repaired, and I also had to buy press-on nails to match. I spent $65 at Venetian, plus more money afterward, for a total of about $80. What a waste of money. I will never return. This business needs better customer service and better training.

I made an appointment and arrived on time a few hours later. They have numerous stations and the decor is very nice. All the technicians were wearing black. I was introduced to Jenny and told to choose a polish color. Jenny led me to her station so she could remove my previous gel polish. While the gel was soaking off, she moved me to a pedicure chair. There were big screen TVs around and she brought me a bottle of water. The water in the tub started out cold., but after it warmed up I received an amazing pedicure! The polish looked great and my feet and legs were rubbed with lotion and then wrapped in a warm towel . (The massage chair was nice too!) When I finished it was $80 as quoted and my fingers and toes look great! I think I may have found my new nail salon in Plantation!
