I've been coming to Sena Cafe for several years and have always meant to leave a review -- so it's…read moredefinitely about time. This place is a hidden little gem in Mount Pleasant. The food is authentic, organic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They have a great selection, including drinks, coffee, cakes, paninis, and sandwiches, and everything I've had has been excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with its own unique style and personality. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area, which makes it even better when the weather is nice. But the best part for me is the customer service. The owner and cook always treat me like family, come out to talk, and make the experience personal every single time. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a big difference. I'm really glad we have a place like this in Mount Pleasant -- authentic food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. Three thumbs up, five stars. Highly recommend.

The space/area are cute, with accessible parking. There is an outdoor area with tables/chairs - not sure if they are associated with the cafe specifically or not, but customers were utilizing them. They have options for breakfast (served until 12pm) and various salads, wraps, and sandwiches for lunch. We were greeted upon entering and the woman at the counter was very friendly. I chose the Spicy Chicken Wrap and a caramel frappe. The frappe was pretty and also yummy. The wrap was huge - I could only eat half of it. It was essentially a large salad wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't that spicy, but it was tasty. Service was quick, the place was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was good. I would certainly go back again.

When I first stepped in, I noticed the self order station and placed my order quickly. At first I was apprehensive about spending $4 on a cookie. But, I do like that they give you a bit of a discount for buying boxes. This could also be very dangerous! I went with the 4 box and selected Reese's peanut butter, Original M&M, Twix Caramel Shortbread, and Rice Krispy. I loved that they came out hot and they also open the box for you to make sure everything is correct. These are not small cookies, so I can see why they are priced higher. The M&M cookie was soft, crunchy, and slightly crispy. I loved that it wasn't all the way cooked in the center bc it was so thick. The Reese's cookie was salty and sweet. The Twix was my favorite cookie, but also the sweetest. I definitely couldn't finish it in one sitting. I kinda wish the Krispy also had a cookie layer because it was essentially a giant rice Krispy. I love Rice Krispies, so I'm not complaining. But, as a cookie shop, I think that would've been a nice touch. I would recommend for a gift or a sweet treat!

Hard as rocks or severely undercooked seem to be the 2 options. Very busy spot and only 2 employees to prep all orders and run register. They seem to have self serve order kiosks, but both were unavailable. The two ladies working were friendly and really hustling. They deserve more help on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Cookies are pretty, just very underwhelming all the way around. Tried heating them up at home and still just blah. I really wanted to be wowed

The line actually moved pretty quickly though and the girls working were super nice and friendly. We were still able to find some seating inside to enjoy our food and drinks. We got a little bit of everything, buttermilk breakfast sandwiches, focaccia, a bear claw, and some other goodies that I totally forgot the names of Everything looked so good that we just started grabbing things! Definitely a cute little bakery to stop by for coffee, pastries and a breakfast treat after a morning workout.

The Danish was absolutely amazing! Every bite was flaky, buttery and everything you could want in an ideal Danish pastry. I wasn't sure how I would feel about a peanut butter and jelly Danish, but it worked so well and was such a fun combination! Service was quick. The shop was tiny, but adorable! We had to walk a bit as there wasn't close parking, but it helped us to burn off the calories we just ate. We are already excited to come back and try more. Hopefully they will have some chocolate treats next time as anything chocolate is right up my alley.
