Wonderful. Great selection for men wedding bands. Roberta was delightful. She was so patient and knowledgeable. She gently guide us through our thoughts and what we wanted. Our customer experience a before Roberta, at other stores, were so nonsensical. I was debating between two wedding rings. One from here and another from a national chain. I opted for the one from D. Geller because the customer service was just so much better. Yes, my ring is beautiful of course, but the customer service we received was so much better than at the chain. Kelly was new there, but he was extremely patient with us and really listened. The rest of the team was very friendly and knowledgeable too. If Kelly didn't have the answer, he could simply ask someone else and they happily found it for us. He worked within our budget and didn't try to pressure us into buying something we couldn't afford. Like my fiancé first picked a ring not knowing that it was twice the budget. Kelly found him something that was well under budget but had a similar design. The store also worked with us with financing options because my fiancé doesn't like credit cards. He was able to put it on layaway with just 10% down and they have an option for auto payments. There's also another financing option available. We enjoyed our experience working with Kelly and D. I called in on my lunch break to see if they would be able to look at a necklace I had gotten tangled up. Jennifer answered the phone and told me to bring it right over. She was there when I arrived and helped me right away. She worked on the necklace for 5 minutes, realized the problem, and was able to get it fixed for me at no charge. If it had needed to be re-soldered, they would have been able to do it for me. I really appreciated the effort in getting my necklace fixed and Jennifer's kindness, as well. read more

Zain was fantastic to work on with. We had gone to one of the online engagement ting stores brick and mortar location and my girlfriend hated the selection. We made an appointment here, were paired with Zain, and after sharing some thoughts and pictures before the visit he had several items already prepared when we got to our appointment. We were also able to look at different gems with the settings she liked to get the right ring. We found exactly what we were looking for. I ended up going a little long in this review but I think that Marcie is an absolute gem and deserves some serious recognition. Anyone in the market for a special ring or piece of jewelry should go to D. Geller and meet Marcie! I cannot recommend this store enough. Let me first start out by saying that my fiancé (still getting used to that word) and I were looking online to buy diamonds. I was trying to find the best priced diamond for the size I wanted and was not familiar with how diamonds are classified whatsoever. All I knew was that I wanted an oval solitaire and I wasn't too sure about the size or grade. My then boyfriend and I decided to stop in to D. Geller and check it out. We were not intending on purchasing anything there. I was a bit nervous because my fiancé is heavily tattooed and was dressed nicely but still looked a bit rugged. I myself looked okay but wasn't wearing anything too flashy. Still, I was pleased with how well we were treated by MARCIE! She is literally the gem of this store (ha). She educated us on diamonds, let me try on just about everything I wanted, and I could tell she honestly enjoyed helping us and educating us. I did not feel rushed or pressured into anything whatsoever. I am so glad that I went into the store because I realized that I actually preferred a smaller diamond than originally desired AND I didn't end up liking the solitaire on my fingers. In addition to finding the perfect ring, I had an overall fantastic experience at the store. I never felt rushed and I felt like Marcie genuinely enjoys what she does. My fiancé ended up texting and communicating with Marcie for the next few weeks to get the ring. But the main reason I am writing this review is because of Marcie's post-sale outreach. Not only did she send a perfectly timed congratulations in the mail, but she followed up with my fiancé via text about the proposal details and asked for pics! We recently went back to the store to say hello and she knew our names, my ring size, and just about everything else we shared with her. She also cleaned my ring free of charge and the other girls working recognized me by my ring! I don't think I have ever experienced customer service like that before. All in all, I am so grateful that we decided to pop in and try some things on that day. I never would have imagined for that visit to be the beginning of our story but I am so glad it was. My final thoughts on this review. Our intent was only to let people know the experience we had with D.Geller. I am quite certain their jewelry is everything they say it is, in most cases. It is just very confusing and frustrating for us, that when we had all of the jewelry appraised at an independent appraiser, for insurance, this was the only piece that did not come back within just a few dollars of the other pieces we had appraised. The wording on both the appraisal from D. Geller that they gave when we bought the piece, and the appraisal that we paid for, was almost identical, so we cannot figure the HUGE cost difference. We just want our experience to be heard. There are many good jewelers in the city, and it is up to each individual person to decide where and how they want to spend their money, and who they trust. We read and research places we shop at, and Yelp is one of those places we use a lot. With that being said, everybody can make their own choices. read more

We had the BEST time at D. Geller and Son. My 6 year old daughter Nora loves to sketch and design jewelry in her notebook and always has lots of questions about gemstones and jewelry. I didn't have all the answers but I knew who would. Off we went for a field trip to D. Geller & Son. There, we first met with Meredith Naggar, who was incredibly sweet and took so much time with Nora. Meredith has always been amazing help to my husband and myself when shopping for jewelry. Meredith taught Nora about how metals can be soft/ malleable and explaining why Nora's ring was misshapen (now an oval instead of a circle). After answering Nora's questions, Meredith carefully looked over Nora's little ring (from her Nana) and took her on the "behind the scenes" tour where we met Mr. Doug, gemologist extraordinaire. Doug also stopped everything he was doing for us and showed us how he uses his equipment and why. He then reshaped Nora's ring and walked her through each step of the process and even shined it up beautifully using something called rouge that is akin to toothpaste. Nora was enthralled. After that, Meredith continued to show her around the showroom carefully explaining all the gemstones and how some are related to each other such as rubies and sapphires. She explained how gems are cut into various shapes and how that can affect the color and clarity. We continued on to pearls (Nora's birthstone) and even finished up with a hot chocolate! Once we finally left Nora jumped into the car and said "Mommy, I just love this day!" Big thanks to Meredith Naggar and Doug! You guys rock and made one kindergartener very happy! I bought my wife's engagement and wedding bands at D. Geller 15 years ago. Her platinum wedding band literally just fell apart in two different places where diamonds were mounted. (She works in IT, not like she does a lot of manual labor with the rings on!!!). We moved out of state several years ago and D Geller said to ship the ring back for repair. They had it a week, and returned it "repaired" - as in it was 'whole' again, but just spot welded. Well, its her wedding band so my wife didn't want to give it up, but just a month later, one of the small diamonds on the band fell out. She sent it back to them again and just got it back the second time after the 'general manager' personally verified the repair - heck, the ring is currently bent as returned!!! I guess I would give them a better review if you only expect your engagement and wedding bands to be needed ten years or so, but we are very disappointed and I'm on the hook for a 'new' ring from somewhere else. read more

My fiance and I have visited most of the big chain jewelry retailers looking for wedding bands for the both of us without much luck. On a recommendation of a co-worker, we stopped by D. Geller & Son one Saturday afternoon. We were immediately greeted by a staff member (whose name I sadly forget now!), asked what we were looking for, and if we wanted any refreshments (soda, coffee, beer, or wine!). We told her that we were looking for a wedding band for my fiance, and she led us over to that area of the store. She asked us our price point (less than $1000), and she was non-judgmental. Oftentimes at the chain stores when you give them a "low" figure, they lose interest in you a customer. She talked my fiance through what he did and did not like about the wedding bands he tried on, eventually deciding on one that was perfect for him and well within our budget. She asked if we also wanted to look at a band for me, and we decided to go ahead and browse since there was a no-pressure atmosphere. I initially thought I wanted one style of band, but I actually ended up with something completely different when I tried bands on with my engagement ring. I'd like to give a special shout out to Roberta Greaus and Alivia Reed for their top notch customer service. I came in on a whim because my engagement ring had been feeling really tight on my finger. It has always felt snug, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it off for 2+ weeks to get it resized (side note: my engagement ring IS NOT from D. Geller but my wedding band is -- big mistake!). Despite my ring not being originally purchased from them, they still graciously offered to help and gave me several resizing options. After comparing and measuring, it turns out my engagement ring IS NOT the same size as my band, which is why I was feeling discomfort. Not only was it not the same size, it was also not perfectly round. Roberta, went to the back and immediately had it rounded out and stretched just a bit and now my ring fits me perfectly! No resizing needed!! I was blown away at the level of service they provided. These ladies went above and beyond and made my day. They could've just made me pay to resize my ring especially since it wasn't purchased from them, but they didn't. They could've just told me, "sorry, you didn't buy that here, we can't help you," but they didn't. My husbands biggest regret is that he didn't purchase my engagement ring from D. Geller and Son. He instead went with a larger, chain store and has hated everything about it (who knew?!). We will definitely be coming back to D. I lost a very large amount of jewelry that I have been lucky enough to have for my than twenty years. While on vacation the bag with these items was misplaced/stolen. I was beyond devastated. My then boyfriend (now husband) and I went to D. Geller to get a feel for what kind of ring I wanted/looked good on me with the thought that we would actually purchase online at James Allen and save money. Meredith assisted us and while I was skeptical of everything (I was all about cutting out the middle man and saving$) she listened to what I was looking for and what my requirements were for a center stone. I found the perfect setting in the Scott Kay Heaven's Gate line but the center stone was the bigger challenge. I had done all of the online research and thought I had a clear understanding of the caliber of diamond I wanted. Not only did Meredith turn everything I thought I knew on its ear she made me a believer in the fact that you MUST see the diamond in person...going by the 4Cs isn't going to be enough. She said she had a stone in mind but it was at another store. She said she would have it sent to the Sandy Springs location so I could take a look. A couple of days later she called and I came on my lunch break. She showed me two stones, 1) a cushion cut 1ct that was nearly colorless with slight inclusions and 2) a .71ct radiant colorless diamond that had all of the inclusions but they were white. There was nearly a $4,000 price difference between the two with the later being the least expensive. On paper the first one was the better option but when she slipped the radiant cut diamond in the setting I chose it was perfect and everything I wanted in a ring. Seeing the diamond really is key and Meredith really took the time to demonstrate that to us. I really feel all newly engaged couples should visit to at least get a feel for what kind of ring each person wants/looks good. My now husband ended up getting his wedding ring here also in rose gold. It works perfectly with his complexion. I highly recommend D Geller and specifically Meredith for your jewelry needs. read more
