This car has seen some shit. From off roading, fording small streams, Doberman transport and pulling me on a 80 mile round trip commute for a few years. Its 230,000+ miles were not kind to the car. I had the car detailed at my home while I was working and came back to what looked like a new car. He didn't miss a spot. Door jambs were immaculate, the deep well in the center console was vacuumed and wiped down, AC vents were free of dust. There was virtually nothing left untouched. I haven't seen so much careful attention to detail since I was field daying barracks in the Marine Corps. The whole scheduling process was smooth. We did everything over email, didn't even need to call and never met face to face and he trusted me with mailing a check for payment. I was skeptical about this being a completely water free car wash, so I set a hose up for him in front of my house. Wasn't even touched. I applaud him for being environmentally conscious. He did request electricity if I could provide it, so I ran an extension cord underneath my garage door for him. This allows him to work without running his generator. I came back and the extension cord was neatly coiled on the side of my house, saving me another trial by combat with the HOA for not keeping up appearances. Much appreciated. Overall, I feel I was able to comfortably ask for $1000 more when selling my car due to how spotless it looked. I ended up selling the car for my asking price and nearly double what CarMax appraised it for. I'll definitely book another appointment in the future for my new car.

We had our brand-new G-Wagen (dream car!!!) ceramic-coated by OCD and love the result. I have never had any car ceramic coated before, but wanted to protect my investment and did tons of research on coatings, and whether or not it was necessary or not prior to finding OCD. The reason to get it from what I can gather online is to protect the paint by allowing water and contaminants to bead and fall off your car without leaving water stains and dirt. It is easier to keep your car shiny and clean and looking new after ceramic coating than without it. I initially wanted to do the inexpensive thing and get a ceramic coating material off of amazon with high reviews and just apply it myself but upon reading about how to get the best result with ceramic coatings, you really need a shop to decontaminate the paint, clean it to perfection, smooth out any imperfections that they left behind in the factory, and then apply the ceramic coating. I also learned that not all ceramic coatings are the same. Dustin came through with a fair quote for the amount of work involved (he was by no means the cheapest by far) but I appreciated that he did the work in a shop with lots of hexagonal LED lights that illuminate imperfections instead of just doing it in a parking garage or in my driveway. I feel like you can get a more precise result that way. He is also particular in holding your car for 24 hours to let the ceramic coating cure, and other places let you have the car right away after a couple of hours of work. It just shows that he understands the material and how it works much better than some of these other highly-rated but cheaper places. After the service was done, Dustin took time to explain after-care and gave me a few products to take home, and provides a free car wash 7-14 days after so they can examine their work and to make sure that all is well. Providing service after they get paid is the hallmark of a good business. I chose a middle option as far as ceramic coating amount and price, and even though Dustin did talk to me about other things I could do (at more cost) I didn't feel like the upsell was too strong or distasteful. We will plan on using Dustin's mobile wash service in the future which he only offers to people who have had ceramic coatings with him. I found out when doing research online that if you don't keep the car washed properly the longevity and efficacy of the coating will not last as long. Again, a full endorsement of this high quality business and we are looking forward to enjoying our beautiful car for years to come.

A complete detail job, engine bay cleaning, along with paint protection thrown in to make up for the delay, He was able to get rid of a long scratch I got that spanned the right side of my car like it was nothing. It's the cleanest the car has looked in a long time. I've never seen my engine bay shine like it does. Worth every dollar and a repeat customer for sure. We rescheduled for July 5 at 3:00 p.m. Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened. By 3:15 p.m., no one had arrived, and I had to reach out again asking for an ETA. I continued receiving messages that the owner was trying to get ahold of his employee, but there was never any proactive communication, no arrival, and no solution. After waiting through two missed appointments, I canceled. What disappointed me most wasn't that things went wrong--it was how they were handled. There was no meaningful attempt to make up for the inconvenience, no offer to prioritize my appointment, no discount on a future service, no refund, and no acknowledgment beyond a simple "sorry." My time was treated as if it had no value. I ended up having to fight for a refund for a service I never received, after setting aside time on two separate days. Had the owner made any genuine effort to make the situation right, I probably wouldn't be writing this review. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability and customer service left me with no confidence in this business. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend booking with this company.

There was an out-of-the-blue mishap with my vehicle when I left the shop (skid plate somehow fell off AS I was driving, hanging on by 1 washer --- later on it was apparent that this was entirely unrelated to the reason I brought in the car). I was pulled over on the side of the road, frantic and calling Yusef to see if there was anything that he could do to help (at the time I had no idea if it was related to the repairs that were just done, so naturally this was my first thinking to call Yusef). At this time, Yusef was already off the clock, however he very kindly offered to meet me where I was pulled over, in order for him to help in any way he could. He went under my vehicle, was able to fully remove the skid plate, which allowed me to drive safely back to the shop (with Yusef following). Unbeknownst to me, Yusef had already notified his mechanic (when Yusef was on the way to me) to prepare to fix my vehicle. Yusef, the mechanic, and Yusef's father all stayed overtime to make sure the skid plate was fixed, even though it was unrelated to the original repairs. He advised me that there were severe hard water spots on the entire passenger side and hood of the vehicle. Nick recommended I take it back to the dealer to have the issue resolved. I returned the car to the dealer who kept it for a week. When I got the car back, the water spotting was removed and I took it back to Genesis Detailing to have the coating applied. Had they not been so detailed in the process and recognized the issue, the spotting could've been a problem after the process was completed.
