They arrived within 2 hours. I was advised my septic tank needed to be pumped but also was told I had a clogged pipe. I am a woman living alone so it was great not being taken advantage of. I really appreciate the promptness my call was answered, the courtesy I was shown and the overall outcome. I would highly recommend RESCUE CESSPOOL to anyone looking for a good, honest snd reputable company which is not so easy to find these days. Thank you so much.

The office/scheduling person I talked to wouldn't give me any sort of timeframe ("sometime between 9am and 5pm"). Seriously? We agreed on a price to pump the tank, and a $150/hour "digging fee" since it was winter. I agreed. The technician arrived around noon the next day (all other septic companies I've dealt with send two people). Technician refused to dig, pretty much ignored a survey that showed the approximate location of the tank (within 2-3 feet). He have a few half-hearted pokes into the ground, claimed my system was not "up to code" (it IS up to code). Tried to upsell me on getting some machinery to excavate. So he basically refused to do the work agree on, and wasted most of my day since I had to stay home, and left without pumping my tank. I called Mike's Septic in Norwalk and they showed up on time (gave me a "morning" time window, which was great), located the tank without issue (the hatch was only buried a few inches under ground level). They did NOT charge me a digging fee, cost $50 less that Stright/Wind River for the pumping, and did a quick snake of the line from my house to the tank - great service.

I guess the cess pool pipping wasnt done correctly which and there was some question as to the actual size of the cess pool I had, and some serious cloggage from toilet paper. Guy walked around and showed me everything be was talking about, because I understood nothing!! And spent the next two hours unclogging our cess pool and pumping it out. They were professional, thorough, on time, friendly and easy to work with. My husband and I worked mostly with Randall, and he explained everything patiently & in laymen's terms while not being condescending (which I have seen in other service people). He honestly seemed to genuinely care about resolving our septic back-up issue and worked steadily and doggedly until it was all done (almost until dark).
