I ordered the pepper shrimp, a rum punch and an brown stew fish with rice and peas. There is a sign that says that they have the best rum punch and that is a lie. This was one of the worst I've had. It tasted watered down, did not have the full body that good rum punches have. Somehow I received the fish and rice and no peppered shrimp. Which was taken off the bill. The food was good which is why I gave a 2 but the customer service needs to be improved. I also had stopped in to book an event. The prix fix menu is limited but add ons can be done. When I left the young lady informed that someone would get back to me, thing is Noone ever did and what is more interesting is that today they are holding a rum brunch. Informing that the event could not be honored would have been appreciated. Thankfully I pivoted to another place.

I knew I hit the jackpot when I saw all the local folks just hanging out, eating and talking. Anyway, the owner is super sweet and friendly. If you are confused, she will explain everything to you. And she offered me free samples when I was unsure of what to order. Nobody does that anymore! If they let you try before you buy, it is always a good sign. Omgggg, she had me at curry goat, and then threw in a free sample of the oxtail and it was over. Both are delicious and I have always felt that oxtail cannot beat out goat, because it is my favorite mammal to eat, but alas, I was wrong. I ordered a medium size plate and she piled ON the food. Her husband is the chef, and that man can cook! I will definitely be returning because that jerk chicken was whispering sweet nothings to me the whole time I was there.

We ate in the brewery behind the restaurant (there's a cool service window to the back kitchen behind the bar!), and I could not possibly have expected the meal we enjoyed. As I mentioned, the catfish sandwich was lovely, soft fish encased in a light frying batter that was just deliciously spiced. The cornbread is absolutely not to be missed, it is thick and moist. The servings are generous and you will feel fulfilled at the end of your meal. My wife had the honey BBQ wings, and when you get the option, have these baked, not fried. I'm sure the fried wings are lovely, but the baked is cooked so tenderly that the meat was just falling off the bone into the sweet sauce below (which you should dip your cornbread in). Don't forget to ask for some house secret sauce for your food. I'm fairly certain you could put it on anything and it will become even more irresistible than it seems when you first smell the aromas wafting up from your dish. I have two regrets. I didn't take any pictures of my food, and I don't have a second stomach. Get yourself here as soon as you can, bring an empty stomach and an open heart. The staff is so kind and the owner is a joy of a woman that serves up her smile and kindness as much as she serves up a filling meal. I will be making sure to get back here soon so I can explore the menu more.

Most of my oxtails were inedible; so tough a fork couldn't penetrate and neither could my teeth. Rice was mush; yet at the same time loaded with crunchy, uncooked grains. A lot of money wasted. Macaroni was mush too, with clumps of unmelted cheese. Greens were edible, but not the best greens I've ever had. I know any restaurant can have a bad day, but this was so bad I would not even think of giving it a second chance.

I'm a…read moreprecovid frequent dinner and take out was never really my problem thing when I frequented here because it had a certain ambiance with the service when ever I dinned in there that brought me back over and over with different people to experience. So I was so very disappointed when after Covid they continued with the only pick up service. The food quality is enough to continue yes but the vibe dining in and at the bar I truly miss. My daughters fell in love with this place because every time we walked into that dinning room there was a particular servers who KNEW US. They knew us enough to know my daughters had a favorite table (the 1st we sat at dinning there). They know us to know that my daughters had special distinction drink mocktails (one of the reasons the fell in love wit this place) that they could order even when it was no longer in the menu. This was one of those places we frequented....even if they couldn't get their special table or waiter, the quality never disappointed. During Covid we order delivery regularly because we didn't realize how much this spot because our Caribbean food must have. I can't say we ever really had tried a different meal from over favorable ones that made us say this is one thing they don't get right to us. And the rum punches and Bob Marley drinks they served during their dinning days is what got me to the pin t I had to start stopping in this joint just to have a drink and appetizers. This really used to be by spot back when they had dine in services. Over the years it's in our delivery/pickup Bronx favorite list unfortunately. I say unfortunately because now that we are back at full operational living. I har to slash the delivery/pickup weekly rituals to only situations of desperation not necessity. So this spot has only become a craving order delivery/pickup order spot. Not a I got some/gonna make some time to go enjoy a drink and some Caribbean food spot destination. Which this was my #1 default choice before Covid as I said this used to be my spot. I would take my daughters here damn there biweekly if not be there weekly myself on dates and when hanging out . Cause they people there were serious enough about customer service they would acknowledge knowing who you are and treat you as such. Hence again why my daughters loved this place as kids. *Looks right and left* a yoo when yall opening the dinning in area again cause it's been log enough now...FIX IT! lol

I remember when Fish N' Ting first opened several years ago and I'm pleased to know that this family run establishment is still kicking. I would put it in my top five list for Jamaican restaurants in the city. The menu is wide and varying and accommodating of different diets. If you love jerk chicken, you need to try it here! The jerk chicken lovers in my life can't get enough. My recommended dishes are the whiting (fried) with rice and peas, rasta pasta and now the lobster (which I didn't know they had). The seafood is made to order, fresh and super tasty. I never thought sweet chili and lobster would be a good combo but it totally rocks! It was truly delectable. My only issue is that they charge for gravy if the dish isn't saucy (as if) lol but I get it!
