The first person who…read morehelped me said it couldn't be done, but thankfully the gentleman working at the steamer offered to try his best. I let him know I would truly appreciate anything at all, even the smallest stretch. He was able to do just enough to make the hat fit perfectly for my dad, who hasn't been able to wear it for about five years. That small adjustment meant a lot, and I'm so grateful he took the time to help. My only recommendation would be to allow customers the option to take the risk on adjustments they're willing to try before turning them away. I completely understand the hesitation from the first employee, but sometimes it's not just about what you say, it's how you say it. A little willingness and kindness can go a long way with customers.

My husband loves hats, and we've visited many stores and we always leave with something. I specifically wanted to get my husband a new hat for Christmas. We walked in, we weren't even greeted. There were about 5 people inside that looked like they worked there. Not even a smile or feeling of being welcomed into the store. It's a smaller shop so kinda awkward interaction if you ask me. No one asked us what we were looking for or if we needed help. So we browsed. A friend of ours was with us and found a hat and he ended up getting it shaped. But the man that shaped his hat seemed annoyed. Our friend had never purchased a tejano before, it was his first experience. How sad that this was his first experience because he was basically rushing him to choose his shaping. He didn't even offer a recommendations. I did notice a girl come in after us to get her hat shaped with a different person and he seemed very friendly and chatty with her. But idk maybe he knew her already so that's why he was nice. Point is, I didn't buy my husband a hat here. I wasn't going to give them my hard earned money for that type of service. I'd rather fly back to Texas for a better experience than come back here again. Horrible customer service. Also, we checked their hours online and it said they closed at 8pm. We got there at 4pm. But I think they were rushing us because they were going to close. How's that my problem? Lol Anyways I won't recommend this place. Take your money elsewhere.

LADIES!!! BUY YOUR GUNS HERE!!!…read more I was looking for a very specific gun that no stores seemed to carry. A female coworker told me about this store, so I thought I'd give them a chance. I am so glad I did. All the other stores I went to were full of male salesmen who were condescending because I was a woman buying my first gun. They kept trying to push tiny "purse" guns, and even pink guns. I wanted a Smith and Wesson revolver because it's a "dummy proof" gun, which is great for a novice. Ian at the Army Navy Store understood why I wanted this particular gun. He was patient, really listened to me, and answered all my questions. He was even willing to teach me about guns. He didn't have the gun in stock, but said that the following month he was going to Smith and Wesson to place his order for the year. He texted me while he was there!!! I was shocked he remembered me, let alone while he was in the middle of placing the order. Then a few weeks later, he texted me and said the gun came in! You can't beat that for customer service. I highly recommend buying your guns here, especially if you're a woman.

Apparently hard to find items, such as camping gear, hunting / fishing equipment, you name it and it's a high-quality item, then this is a place to be. So I'm here as a civilian, non-military non-fishing / hunting enthusiast, so I just find myself looking at their clothing lines. And unfortunately, they seem to be a little on the high-end price wise. No sales people gave salutations to us, or asked us if we need assistance, so I guess I could say "well it's not a high-pressure sales situation"!

Thought I only needed 5-10'items but I left with 30+ Baseball caps / trucker hats / Snap Backs / Flex Fit caps. Comes in adult and kids sizes and in many colors and quality levels. It's about $2.50-5.50 a cap. I was a bit disappointed that they did not have the L/XL adult sizes in stock. Straw beach hats. Nice selection of men and women's straw hats. Prices range from $3.50-5.00 each. All prices are "wholesale" prices so vendor licenses aren't needed here. I would go back!
