Be very aware when you take your recycling to this place! Listen to the workers as they call out what your recyclables are!! They may say "non CRV" for your bonafide CRV bottles! Even if they call it right, the person behind the bulletproof tinted glass may say "non CRV" if you're not paying attention! If you watch the scale, there will be one weight, then it will change. At first, I thought the weight and scale may have settled, but by the end I knew that it was mr. oz behind the glass at the computer! Next, they will take another customer so when they're about to hand you your receipt and money your proof is already discarded so you can't dispute it!! DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING BUT TRUE CRV ITEMS AND BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!! I guarantee you that eventually mr. Oz will show you that he will cheat you if allowed!!! FIND ANYWHERE ELSE!!! They are thieves. They don't weigh the correct amount, or give you a receipt or proof of how much it weighed. When you go claim your money for the recycle, the person at the cashier is communicating with the employee that weighed your recyclables and meantime the employee is taking out material that "doesn't work" taking away from what it originally weighed. First time coming here and I'm never coming back. This time I brought more than usual to recycle and got way less. read more

This place is a rip off!! Went here because my usual place was out of service today. First off this place is crowded and messy, with very limited parking! Secondly, the weighing system they have is stupid! One employee weighs the bins and is talking the other guy through a speaker! Giving him the weight. Then you go to the other side to be paid and when one isn't looking they take items out that are not "accepted" bringing the original weight down! Mind you, the recyclable items they take out. Are not going to waste of course! They still make a profit off them! And us the consumer gets screwed out of a few bucks!! Never going to these crooks again!! read more

Here was my experience with D & T Recycling. The place was hard to spot, it is very small. I pulled in with roughly 300 lbs of high quality aluminum rods for framing fixtures. When I called they said they would pay up to $.35 per pound for clean aluminum, low-end $.20. There were a few screws still in the aluminum but otherwise it was clean, screws were easy to remove. They offered me $.10 a pound and I told them to go screw themselves. The owner/supervisor counter offered with $.15 per pound which honestly insulting. The workers laughed at my while I loaded my metal back into the flatbed by myself. I want to add that this place does not even have legit tare equipment, they put the metal on a pallet which I think would have given a bad weight. I went a few miles away to Ekco Scrap Metal recycling who said on the phone $.51 per pound would be their max payment. They offered me $.40 taking into account the screws and tape on the metal. They also had proper equipment and professional staff. Long story short, D & T tried to low-ball me, then acted unprofessionally when I called them out on their idiocy. Complete waste of time and cost me an additional $20 in time wasted. You should only come here if you have aluminum cans. And even then I would not give them any of my business. read more

Traded in my rotors, got $.20 for them (.01 per pound). Overall it's a simple setup - park, separate what you have, if need be and then take it to the scale. They weigh it and give you market price. read more

Don't waste your time going here. I showed up at 445 when there hours clearly are posted 8-5 and they had the gate close. The guy jus waved his hand to shoo me away saying there closed already. They also set away 2 cars before me. What kind of place sends away that many customers, they must not like making money, I will not be giving them my business from now on.
