I would highly recommend them based on my personal experience and I will use them for any roof or home issues they provide service for from this point forward.

I worked for this company and I can tell you firsthand that it is a very shady practice and their…read moremethods of acquiring clients are very, VERY predatory. The company downloads thousands on thousands of phone numbers from an online database and sends unsolicited calls to anybody they can early as 8 AM (even calling businesses and renters on holidays) in order to rope in clients by offering a special free estimate (which is standard practice). If you do choose to accept the free estimate, they will try to overcharge and upsell you on any sort of home remodeling projects you're considering due to the small size of the company. From a worker's point of view, the company will hide information on the jobs you confirm and will threaten your job security once a week if you do not get 2 potential jobs per day. This unfortunately leads to the harassment of many Houston citizens through desperate callbacks for months on end and even giving misleading information about the company's status with the Better Business Bureau. There are cockroaches and bugs living throughout their showroom and the owner, contractors, and most of upper management do not speak English as well. All in all, this company is very unorganized yet uncomfortably persistent when it comes to finding clients and will often overcharge clients who are in desperate need remodeling and do not have time or resources to find a second opinion. If you do come in contact with them or happen to receive an unsolicited call, I strongly suggest finding another contractor to save you from a headache/wasting your time. I would even make sure to block the number because they will not stop calling if you don't.

The transformation of our home both inside and outside is unbelievable. We are thankful not just for the care of service but for how they accommodated the reality of the life circumstances that were present at the time as well. Even lending support in various ways. So needless to say, Shane is more friend than contractor to our family. It was truly the best decision we could've made in having Dream Builders & Renovations increase the potential of our home but keep the essence of what made us love it in the first place. We will use Dream Builders & Renovations again in the future, of that I have no doubt.

We had someone, Mr. Al Henry, at our home within a hour. Al, introduced himself, surveyed our damages, sat down at our breakfast table and began detailing what services he could provide us, and we must make a note that, then and only then did he ask us who our insurance agency was, and quickly helped us place the call to our agency, briefing us on what each terminology meant and how we could submit the claim. We felt NO pressure to secure his services but felt that Al, could and turned out to be trustworthy and he did not disappoint. The staff were always respectful and displayed professionalism in handling our home and showed genuine concern for ALL our needs. Throughout the time this company provided this service for us Al, and Kadeem (PM) stayed in contact with us throughout, any time of the day we needed clarification till the completion of the restoration of our home. Kudos to this company and we pray continued success.

Water had also soaked into the mattress , laminated floor and some wall hanging and there was insulation all over the floor. One call to ER had them at the house within an hour ( I had already isolated the leak and it was being fixed by Acosta plumbing who also responded quickly). ER arranged for the removal of damaged items as necessary and installed dehumidifiers and heaters - which ran for 5 days. Alvin Henry came to discuss the process and put my mind at ease. It's obvious that he and the company are experts in the matter and of course this was my first experience. ( A good point to remember - check the electricity meter reading before the equipment is installed and when it is removed - you can claim the cost from your insurers) . Al was present when the insurance adjuster visited and to be honest led him through the process too! A god send. Whilst the insurance claim was being processed Al went out of his way to identify a source of laminate flooring of the same type as we have throughout the house - having to try several sources around Houston. Once the insurers confirmed our claim ER's team moved in and George, CJ and Nico worked steadily and efficiently to finish the job ahead of schedule. What I really appreciated was that I was kept updated of all the steps required and what was happening next. The company promised to leave the room looking even better than before- and they achieved that in some style.

Yep, we flooded.... again. Just like so many others in the area. While I was in need of a few…read moreexperienced trades, what I wasn't looking for was a repeat of last flood's (tax-day) fiasco with yet another contractor. Sooooooo, after some lengthy discussions with the hubbs on self-contracting, and some seriously heavy searching and waiting out the influx of fly by the night wannabe's - I took a gamble on Residence Doctor. I had read many positive reviews on a few other sites and was confident in moving forward. Ultimately, we hired them to do a few things in my home that we couldn't manage to do ourselves, or just plain didn't quite figure out the best way to approach with all else that was going on and having to manage. My initial dealings were with Tammy (sweet as can be and very professional) who got all scheduled and set up for Greg to come out and bid what we needed done. Greg showed up, was straight up, and although I had to all but "hunt him down" for the estimate (to his credit - we were still somewhat in the thick of the flood recovery), it came back fair, reasonable, and very detailed. We opted to do the most important things and forgo some of the others that ultimately we could complete. The impression and communication made the difference for me, so I felt confident that my decision wouldn't backfire..... From the minor framing work (really old termite damage - preexisting) to the major tile job (laundry, powder/mudroom, & master bath), they (George included!) stayed on top of our job from beginning to end. Daily visits to the job site, regular telephone calls with updates/communication and feedback. Polar opposite of my previous experiences with that other contractor I hired! Not only that - they did what they could to reassure me that I could trust them AND the guys they had working for them, even referring me to other trades that we needed! Ultimately, The Residence Doctor provided us with a very stellar end result that I couldn't have been more pleased with! While they weren't the cheapest, they were by far the best of what I've had to chose from these days and will definitely hire them again - God-forbid I need them for anything major (or minor!)... I'm happy to say that as long as George & Greg and the staff at Residence Doctor continue to provide the service they gave to my family - I will absolutely rehire them - no questions asked!!
