I was wise enough to use yelp to find a good autobody shop. Gino's was awesome. They were honest and told us the scratch was actually just a scuff that didn't penetrate the clear coat and could be rubbed off. They let us bring the car in only a few days after the accident happened. The underlying dent could be repaired by popping it back out from the inside of the panel. This was very cost efficient way to fix it and I saved a bundle vs the expensive option B they gave me - remove the car door and do paint work. They were cool enough to say let's play it by ear - if cheaper option doesn't give a good result, we can take the price of it off the expensive paint work option B. We ended up paying around $250 for the job and avoided needing the expensive option. We were also lucky that the guy who hit my wife's car was honest and upstanding enough to pay for the damage he caused. Things worked out as best as they could have.

awful service. rookie car mechanics messed up a simple oil change & didn't put the cap back on…read more motor ended up breaking, they supposedly ordered a new mortar and replaced mine ( which took multiple weeks ) i get the car back engine cover is missing, tape on the car, ac blowing nothing but hot air. owner tried to tell me the compressor was no good, so i take the car to a master car mechanic he charges with freeon and the car is blowing cold air again perfectly fine. These guys tried to scam me into paying them to fix something that was never an issue to begin with. Would not recommend going to them especially if you wanna leave with your car in one piece and not multiple damages. also not to mention multiple stains left on my seats and roof. Phony owner running a con shop.
