They seemed like nice guys so I told them what we needed and they wrote out a quote which was much less than anyone else considering the size of trees/shrubs we wanted and that installation was included. I told them I'd call them - so in the next few days I checked them out on the internet. They had some bad reviews, but they were all from a few years ago, so I decided to give them a chance. Everything went well, but we did have several trees that didn't make it (we planted in the middle of summer in 100 degree weather). But true to their word, they came back in September when it had cooled down and replaced the trees free of charge. We've since used them again for additional plants. Great guys!

All the employees of CNL were trustworthy, respectful and conscientious in the execution of their duties. The owner Nick clearly detailed the Job Description and updated us with progress reports. Ryan was meticulous when measuring and cutting angles for the 6 x 6 Timbers. Jay's ability and strength with the Tamper was evident. He performed his work as if he had pneumatic arms. Matt was indefatigable; he never stopped working during the demolition phase of the project. We rate our satisfaction level as very satisfied, 5 of 5 Stars. We would recommend Concord Northwest Landscaping without hesitation. Paul

I contacted Ellis Tree Service the same day a tree fell on our house after they were recommended to…read moreus by State Farm. I was told we were number 22 on their list, they were currently working on number 6, and that they expected to be at our property within two days. On the second day, I received a call saying they were running behind and would be out within the next couple of days. That was the last I ever heard from them. No call. No text. No follow-up. Nothing. Obviously, when you have a tree sitting on your house, you can't wait around indefinitely wondering whether a company is actually going to show up, so I had no choice but to find someone else to handle the cleanup. I completely understand being overwhelmed after a major storm. What I don't understand is telling a homeowner they are on your schedule, giving them a timeframe, and then simply disappearing. At the very least, a quick phone call asking whether we still needed service would have taken a couple of minutes. When someone is dealing with damage to their home, communication matters. Unfortunately, based on my experience, Ellis Tree Service completely dropped the ball on that.

I was prepared to list a property for sale and asked Paul 4 weeks prior to listing to add topsoil…read moreand hydro seed with his best and fastest growing lawn seed product. Total cost was well over $1000. In order to get a bobcat into the backyard the fence was dismantled. When it came time to list the house the lawn looked worse than it originally did despite watering regularly. Not only did grass not grow, weeds grew rampant. It turned my yard into a mud pit and weed field. Don't trust me trust the attached pics. I called, texted Paul on multiple occasions to reinstall the fence he removed and asked him to resolve the lawn and weed issues. When he finally called back I was told that the grass seed only works 60% of the time. This information would have been useful before I spent $1000 to ruin my lawn and fence. Paul never fixed the issues, never warrantied his work and never called me back despite leaving multiple voicemails and texts requesting follow up. I ended up giving the buyers of the house a $1k credit and told them not to use this company. It was a complete waste of my time and money. Don't waste $2k like I did.
